iggypop1 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 You're not asking this mod to take into account things added by other mods I hope? Â No..... funny anyway.....yes Â
doan77 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I have a request and i think i'm not the only one to ask it, so i'm sorry if this as already been asked. Can you add a dialogue kiss option for lover ?
pinky6225 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015  Done the Serana quest, was good  Will put things i found in spoiler in case others haven't reached yet    Once you've reached the point where Serana has "My lover" dialogue she doesn't seem to need feeding anymore  Is the dialogue to cure Serana of vampirism/have Serana infect you added in by this mod? If so is their a way to removing it (i.e for werewolves that like the idea of an immortal girlfriend)  With Serana as a lover she seems to do her sex dialogues as random greetings (for example i spawned into a dungeon with her and she did the "Stick it to me, do me" dialogue which you get if you pick the anal option as a greeting)   About Serana    I don't know about this mod as this mod might change something there but don't think so but Serana's cure / infection dialog was there naturaly. Mind you, the cure dialog to my knowledge had a chance of never working if you asked her about it at the wrong time resulting in you never being able to un-vampire her.  This is just wiht my minimal knowledge mind you but I am fairly sure this mod doesnt' add it.     If i'm honest it is totally possible its vanilla content as i've only played all the way through dawnguard a few times and until this mod came along none of those were recent     On a unrelated note Freya in the Dragonborn DLC is kinda hot if you want to do all the DLC (figured i'd do this expansion with serana as well as i've also only played through this a couple of times after it was released)
alpalia Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 i likely have lover one of the girl on the opposite side , the dawnguard. in same time, some mod allow very good waifu style for her (forget the name :/)
MeJimmy Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Just a few comments in appreciation of this incredibly imaginative mod. I have enjoyed this mod for some time since discovering it on LoversLab. The ingenious editing of vanilla voice files to create new and interesting dialogue to go along with some wildly erotic quests to me, a non modder, is simply amazing. BUT - the new quests with Serana are the BEST. This has really livened up another play through Dawnguard and a most enjoyable one at that. Many thanks at your creativity, modding skill and obviously countless hours of work to provide this gem to all of us.
qazWSXewq Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I don't know if anyone asked this already but can you add Winterhold mainly Brelyna? Â Â
n3zum1 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015      I'm ready to start the Riften pieces. I hate Riften. People disappear. I buy Honeyside, walk in with 2 followers, one of them disappears. She's there.... just invisible. There's a stage in Riften where you're in a house with several ... participants...and every time I run through this, they're ALL invisible. Makes it hard to find them and less fun.  What causes that? I know it's not this mod because it happens in Riften without this mod. Am I just running against the limits of my hardware? (I play on a Mac Mini with 16GB memory and Intel HD4000 integrated graphics... )  HDT?......have the same problems especially in and around Riften       Yes. HDT. I really only seem to have the problem in Riften. I don't recall it happening anywhere else.  Aerin's house and Honeyside are the biggest problems for me. I'm ok pretty much anywhere else in Riften, but once I enter one of those 2 buildings, someone goes invisible and doesn't reappear until I exit the city and come back in.  Yep, Aerin's house... I had sex with 3 invisible girls there, it was fun to watch my character hugging the air LOL    thats happened with me too, but in my case after the first girl, the other two went invisible... well I've just started a new game with a slight optimized load order but aint get to Riften yet (It's always the most problematic city for me mod wise) let's see what happens when I get there this time! Â
Sacremas Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 I freaking hate Aerin's house, it's a ghost place, I have my mods running perfectly and no errors anywhere else and all three girls go missing inside there pretty much every time. Last time I did it I had to reload about 5-6 times to actually see each of the girls in turn, sometimes using moveto.player commands to move them to different parts of the house to experiment. Next time I'm just going to say fuck it, watch my character hump air for three scenes, then look them up later elsewhere for proper rewards.
Sacremas Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 So with all the stuff that's going on lately with mods getting pricetags on steam workshop (the new Wet & Cold with scripts that won't kill your game will be pay only for example) and all the shit's that's been going on over there, I'm left with one clear thought. I'm never going to pay for a mod I don't know if will work well with my other mods and my game and likely will be just as much of a mess as before. It's just not going to happen. On the other hand there are well-proven mods that I'm never getting rid of that I love the heebie-jeebies out of, that I'd actually be glad to pay for. And this mod sort of floated to the top of the list. Â So yeah, you don't happen to have a Papyal donate account FoxFingers? Because I actually want to pay you for your work. No I don't want to employ you to make the mod like I want it to be (you already did that!), or hell even necesarily entice you to keep working on it. I just want to reward some really good, hard work.
alpalia Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 mmh about donation . is there possible to use "patreon" ? idk about mod like that, but maybe its better easy than paypall, frankly idk but just ask if somebody know
FoxFingers Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 Creating this was really a labor of love for me. I would never ask anything for it, and i'm truly happy people seem to enjoy it. Â If you believe this mod is worthy of a donation, and really enjoy it enough to want to donate, then i urge you to please PM Ashal instead and ask about donating to Lovers Lab. Â You will be doing the most good for all of us here. Â Thanks! Â (Still mostly offline for another week, btw)
Sacremas Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I tried that but I accidentally mentioned I'm on Social Welfare and now he won't take my money in good conscience. Â I mean seriously I just bought myself a GeForce GTX 980 4 Gig, I can probably spare a little bit is all I'm saying...
xsorab2 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) this mod is awesome, and the fist of its kind by editing vanilla voices which is a plus. Im hoping you do frea next cause i feel like becoming a lover to main quest character is great like serana btw, its my first post in this site cause of brilliant foxfingers, thanks man Edited April 24, 2015 by xsorab2
Sacremas Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Not to subtract from the greatness of this mod, but Shinji was a bit wrong there, it's not the first mod to do this, or even the only mod here on LL to do it. THe FOllowe Commentary Overhaul mod basically does this, taking comments from a lot of different NPCs that share the same voice type, mixign up a few of them into new ones (though the majority are cut and paste, hence why I don't use that mod anymore) and applying them to your followers. Lydia's Men are All Alike comment comes from Nazeem's wife Alaahm, Apple Cabbage Stew comes from Alvor's wife Sigrid, and so on. The Sex Slaves mod did this basically with the Alicia Painslut voice and applied it to multiple other NPCs. This mod just takes that to a WHOLE new level. Â And I smile every single time Amorous Lydia does her Apple Cabbage Stew comments, and I agree with her every time she states she needs to bathe to get the stink off some draugr crypt out of her, I just reply "we'll head by the Underground Bathhouse when we're done honey!", whereas FCO's Lydia wanting to get the stench off my home off her had me Fus'ing her more than a few times.
Joshelloco Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Just wanted to say that this might by my favorite mod for skyrim ,it's absolutely to die for. I've played with it across many characters and it was so good i didn't even mind to start over to romance serena even though i was lvl 127. Now I romanced serena and i loved it . Fox thank you for a god among mods and if I had to rate this mode it be over 9000Â .
Mord Sif Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015  And I smile every single time Amorous Lydia does her Apple Cabbage Stew comments,  Me too! That is absolutely a euphemism as far as I'm concerned  A belated thanks for the Serana update, by the way, Fox. I'm eager to try her out but can't play at the moment. Hopefully soon...
Skippe Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 i also enjoy my every adventure at road in skyrim knowin that my pc has someones to wait every city after long and hard journey . i cant wait to romance serana my self either just wonderin if i can get elisef also. i use lovers comfort so beutifull kind lady waitin at home at home teasin you and makin meals are heavenly after dangerous adventure hehe . when lydia says where i did put those radishes it brings smile to my face , especially when someone has jumped on my pc middle of market XD .
Golgo13 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I'm not sure what to do about this...  I was never able to get the "A Widow Too Soon" quest to get to the end in my previous two games; that's one reason I started over with a third new game. I got everyone else on my side; but, I never had any option for Elisif.  When I went to the Blue Palace for the first time in my present game, I accepted the quest to go to Wolfskull Cave before speaking to Elisif, then being told to speak to Falk What's-his-name to get the quest to investigate Wolfskull Cave. Since I had the quest, I figured that I'd already met that requirement.  I've completed the investigation of Wolfskull Cave; but, my quest log still lists speaking to Falk and investigating the cave as something I need to complete. When I use "player.showquesttargets," however, Falk is not listed as an existing quest-- all I have listed are the Aerin and Ysolda quests... yet, it's still on my quest log.  So, is this going as it's supposed to be going, or is my game screwed-up, again? If it's screwed-up, is there any way to fix it?
Sacremas Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 First off make sure you've downloaded a recent version of the mod. A lot of people did that mistake, me included. Â Secondly, the way it goes is that first you talk to someone in Solitude as you get there "What have you heard about Jarl Elisif in Solitude?" and that starts the quest. Before talking to Falk about the Wolfskull quest talk to Elsifi and go through the new dialogue, then take Falk's quest and go through with it, finish it, and go back and tell Elisif about it afterwards. Quest will update that Elisif will ask you a personal favor, that's the vanilla bringing the horn to the shrine of Talos, with a big surprise once you get there. If you haven't done these things, then yes your game is borked again. I'd suggest try to reload to before you got to Solitude and try it again, once you know the mod is the most recent version.
alienfaction Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 I've only just recently got this mod ... it's so well done that I had nearly finished Camilla's romance before I realised that it wasn't a vanilla quest.  I sit (at my pc) in awe !  How do you say thank you when thank you doesn't seem enough ... ?  err ... ummm ...Thank you FoxFingers!!
Golgo13 Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 I'm definitely using the "Vanilla + Dawnguard" version that I downloaded on 4/16, when a new version was posted-- that was one of the factors going into my decision to start over with a new game. But, after clearing Wolfskull cave and the other things I did as I was leveling in order to qualify for the final Potema quest, them destroying Potema, I'd have a long, hard slog ahead just to unlock one more NPC. I can't really justify that to myself. If I can't fix it with the console, I'll just skip it this time through.  If the mod must be played with specific choices in a certain order, it would be nice if the choices that totally wreck the mod were removed from the dialog menu; or, at least, there were instructions added in the dialog options stating "CHOOSE THIS DIALOG OPTION FIRST; DO NOT ACCEPT WOLFSKULL CAVE QUEST UNTIL AFTER SPEAKING TO QUEEN ELISIF," or something like that.
Swissenergy Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 I'm not sure what to do about this... Even though you can start "The Man Who Cried Wolf" quest by speaking to one of several people at the Blue Palace, you MUST ultimately speak to Falk Firebeard before going to wolfskull cave to complete that quest. Even so, the quest "A Widow Too Soon" can be started before going to wolfskull cave, talk to any of the court members or even Elisif herself and she should have an additional dialogue option. If your journal still indicates that you need to speak to Falk about wolfskull cave, then I would do that even if you already went there. If you have talked to him and he offers no other dialogue then you could try using the console to bypass the quest.  Here's "The Man Who Cried Wolf" quest on the UESP wiki for other info that may help you solve your problem if you can't figure it out. Also, like Sacremas said, do make sure you have to most recent version of the mod in case you're running an older version that doesn't have the Solitude quests.
Golgo13 Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Idk if I've explained myself properly, or not.  I spoke to Falk Firebeard. He gave me the quest to speak to Queen Elisif, and that started "A Widow Too Soon." But, at the same time, before speaking to her, he also offered me "The Man Who Cried Wolf," which I also accepted. So, even before walking over to Elisif, I had already accepted that quest, too-- I had no idea that I would screw up the whole mod if I did that. If that screws up the mod, it's very easy to do by accident, so, there should probably be more in place to guide the player along the only allowable dialog path.  I then spoke to Queen Elisif. She told me to speak to Falk Firebeard, and the quest log said to speak to Falk Firebeard and help the people of Solitude by exploring Wolfskull Cave. Even though I had already gotten the quest, I didn't suspect that "A Widow Too Soon" was broken, because I had not, yet, gone to Wolfskull Cave; and, most quests can handle easily foreseeable events such as players picking up the quests in more than one, precise order. I only suspected that the quest might be broken when I completed "The Man Who Cried Wolf," but my quest log for "A Widow Too Soon" still told me "to talk to Falk Firebeard and help the people of Solitude by exploring Wolfskull Cave."  I solved a similar problem I had in one earlier game by using "player.showquesttargets" to display which quests I was in, and then gradually advancing the quest past where I was stuck. But, in this case, there is no "amorousadventuresFalk" quest, like I have an "amorousadventuresYsolda," and an "amorousadventuresAerin" quest. So, I can't just advance it past this stage to fix it. It's dawning on me that the game's just hopelessly borked. If it is, it is. It's not worth re-playing everything I just played to try to get it to work-- maybe next time I start a new character.... But, so that my experience wasn't a total waste, I'm just passing the word along that someone not intimately familiar with the mod, who's just playing it like an ordinary, typical player, is probably going to run into the same problems I did unless the mod can be more flexible about when you may accept "The Man Who Cried Wolf," or the player receives more guidance as to *NOT* accepting that quest until after speaking to the queen.
Swissenergy Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Ok, did you talk to Elisif after completing "The Man Who Cried Wolf"? She should now have only one dialogue option in the conversation tree. Her quest "A Widow Too Soon" will not update until you speak to her after you have completed the wolfskull cave quest. Also, there actually is no "amorousadventuresFalk" quest (unless I'm missing something completely), I've got the mod open in the Creation Kit right now and what you're looking for should be "amorousadventuresWidow," for "A Widow Too Soon"
