FoxFingers Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 I updated to 2.02, to see the new serana lover's hello.. but i didnt see any changes.. did i do the update right? what i did: 1. Uninstall version 2.0 via NMM 2. Install version 2.02 via NMM 3. Start the game and i continue my game.. would the updating mess up my current playthrough? and the quests that i have been through? By the way you are really awesome foxfingers.. the world needs more people like you They'll probably show up after you've made a new save with the 2.02, quit, restarted and then loaded that save up. That's assuming she's marked as a lover my completing the last Serana quest. Won't hurt anything. Thanks! It would kinda be nice to have an alternate romance for people who chose to go with Hadvar after Helgen. Sigrid is super worried about "straying", maybe she's got some urges she's trying to suppress... Yeah, I keep hearing that people want to be able to follow the Imperial out and get Sigrid. I'll look into that one of these days. Thanks!

Your work is more than stunning and I love it - especially the part with the companions is amazing. But something is missing for me - there is no part for my favorite character Ria You mentioned I guess 50 pages ago that you would maybe insert her inside your mod. Of course she seems not to be that interesting for a whole own quest by herself since she is just the whelp of the group. But perhaps she could get a short part inside your companion-quest line? Anyway I’m always looking forward for what you bring next =)
chajapa Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Just stopped in (again) to say, "AWESOME!" I played through the game the last time about .... well.... earlier LAST year sometime. Since then I've started MANY characters that never got past about level 5 because all I was doing is screwing around (pun intended) with various SexLab mods. At one point I even created an MO profile called "Army of Whores" and pimped out my 7 followers... sometimes up to 10 followers... in different cities. We just traveled around, whored up the place, moved on. Then Milk Mod Economy started getting attention again... and Soul Gem Oven... and Non-SexLab Animation Pack (NSAP) and..... MORE shenanigans. Then I started a new game with this Amorous Adventures version and..... played through Dawnguard, took Serana as a follower, and now .... playing through the Solitude content, I've slain my first dragon so I could tame Lydia and keep going. My character is like... level 19! That's the highest I've played to in over a year! hahahhaha. So if ever there was a reason to create a mod.... and I understand how labor-intensive this one is.... the pure ENJOYMENT of playing through again has go t to be it. Like reading a book you loved for the 4th or 5th time and finding new pages. Pages that enhance the story. OK, yes, I'm gushing a little bit, but this mod is making me really happy.... and making me REALLY not get a lot of work done around the house.

It takes a lot of time to do a quest and make the voice files. And everybody has their favorite that's not in the Mod. If I go back and give Aela a follow-up quest I'll try and work Ria into it. Anyways... you can make her a lover at the Console. I usually end up doing this for Jenassa myself. You just need to get them into the Amorous Adventures Lovers Faction if you just want them to have Lovers Options from this mod. Just that faction. The Mod has several factions. Only that one or you'll mess something up. Use the console: help faction Then scroll up using the "page up" key and find: Amorous Adventures Lover Faction (AmorAdvLoverFaction) in the list. It will be like xx011AEC target an NPC by opening the console and clicking on them so they become the target. Then add them to the faction. Use the ID that was shown to you earlier. Example: addfac xx011AEC 1 Now they have Lovers Options. Hope that helps. Thanks

I just love how you make a cool and stunning quest line. Of course you are right there are too many characters in Skyrim to give them all a part in your mod. I just remembered that you mentioned her long time ago in this thread and since Ria is my all-time-favorite character I just needed to ask you =) Anyway I will still more than enjoy your work! Edit: Buuut if Ria would get a small part in the future I would (of course!) appreciate it

Old Book Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I'm at Curse of the Dead Bride, and am getting a repeatable instant crash whenever I try saving after entering Broken Oar Grotto. So far I've tried not saving until I was back in Solitude, and saving via console, but it still crashed. I'm going to try to finishing Curse of the Dead Bride completely before saving. If that doesn't work, I'll try to console past it. I'm sure it's a mod conflict, but I'm not sure what, as I've dropped Amorous Adventures to the very bottom of my load order.

Sacremas Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 If you have it try removing Death Alternative, that cured it the last time I had crash on save, but make sure you remove it properly so you're not still set to Essential.

Is it way to turn off essential player ? Will doing Tim will reverse it ( I know it toggles essential on , but wonder if it's doing off also )?
Sacremas Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 No the best way will actually be to reinstall Death Alternative then uninstall it the proper way after togglign off Essential player, that's the only way to know it'll work properly. Be aware that doing so may kill you however, as Death Alternative may be stuck in your save.

It reminded me of the Njada Stonearm quest, just much more in depth, which is one of the quests I think is really well done. I'm not going to spell out certain things that happened in case someone who's reading this hasn't played through the quests yet. That being said, Fox you did a great job bringing out the personality of the characters as well as their emotions of past events and what's happening currently in-game which you can see in the interactions they have with you (the player) and each other, really great job with that. Also, excellent job with Valerica, honestly I was expecting just a few lines from her considering how very limited her dialogue is but you added a lot more than just a few lines for her without being overly redundant, so excellent work with her. Last thing may be a small issue I'm having, not to do with the quests themselves I've completed all of them and never noticed any issues. However now that I have completed all of the quests, Serana is now cycling through her lover hello's with a line about every 5-10 seconds when I'm not moving while she's following me. At first it was nice but after hearing the every hello about 5-6 times in a single dungeon, that's a little too much for me. If this was intended, ok, I'll live with if I'm going to use this mod. If not then there's a problem somewhere, since no one else has said anything about this (I don't think, I could be mistaken though) then I'm going to say the issue is with my mod conflicts, NOT your mod. I don't know where the problem is but I'd thought I bring it up in case this is an issue that may be due to the "hello timer". Regardless, it was one of the more immersive and emotionally connecting quests you've done so far so if anyone is reading this who hasn't played it yet then why are you still reading? Go download and play it, go do it now! Great work Fox!

Appreciate the feedback, and glad it added something to the Dawnguard play through for you. Also, thanks for those reference ID's from a few pages back, those went in to all the new walk through attachments on the front page. Anyways, I'd probably recommend opening up Amorous Adventures in the Creation Kit and editing the timer on Serana's Hellos yourself, for now. Quest: AmorousAdventuresLoverDialogueSerana Tab: Misc I'm not going to be available to a Creation Kit for three weeks or so. She seems to be trigger happy on the Hello's anyways. I think there's something different about her. But maybe if you set the timer on each one of them to some higher value like 10.00 it might help. Thanks!

Sacremas Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Serana has always had an issue with greetings in the vanilla game when you got close to her, they went on an auto-fire even faster than normal characters. It's probably something to do with her whole sandboxing routine (if you have AFT, it's whole sandboxing routine is copied off what Serana has vanilla in Dawnguard).
A7X Nightmare Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 A bit disappointed this doesn't work well with a female PC. I mean it works, but my character was in a male context (the dominant female), and didn't use a strap on, so it looks kinda goofy. Is it supposed to be like this, or am I missing something? I have the strap-on option in SexLab checked, and I don't have the foreplay option checked (had a similar problem with SexLab Sex Slaves and this was the culprit). TLDR: My female character had male-female sex with Saadia, and didn't use a strap on. It looked silly.
Sacremas Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 That's a Sexlab issue due to some clothing you have equipped that use the Strapon's position, that clothing gets unequipped but the strapon doesn't show up properly. You need to open your inventory, find Calyps Strapon, and click it as if you were to equip/unequip it, the game will tell you that you can't unequip this but it will appear on your character mid-scene as you do it. You need to do this every time, or figure out what's blockign the strapon from showing up. Or make your character a Futa with SOS for UNP and Sexlab Cumshot. Works way better than the strap on, especially for this mod. I recommend this SkyUI addon to help you better find out what will work with strapons and not. Or alternatley what's slot 52 if you become futa so you can't wear it anymore. http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1219-skyui-show-armor-slots/
