I dunno, it's actually a hard one because a user has their own access to their own MCM, naturally, (and I wouldn't want to change that). And then many animations have tags which suggest they are multi-use. The Mod makes a "Best Effort" on the animations, and it works out however it works out. Also, later versions of Serana's quest hopefully will get more refined. This far in, would you suggest downloading 202 and dropping it on top of what I have? I'm also coming to realize that the quality of tagging on the various animations is not consistant and some are either missing fitting tags or have more than would be necessary. The Apropos modders have been building a list of corrections and I gather will be more used when the next version of that mod comes out. It will have options for different themes of "dialog" I guess, for lack of a better term. What I had in mind was for people that are developing story based mods, the option to call scenes based on what you want for the situation (blowjob, loving sex in bed, serial gang rape including anal) and then also have the option, if a player has Apropos installed, to supply your own files for that mod (they're just plain text files, in JSON format) that would provide a fitting comment from npcs or player, to go with each stage of the scene. In your case, instead of my own generic lines showing up while Serana is trying to seduce my character for his blood, your supplied lines would show up. For anyone doing a story based mod, 3 more lines of text per scene, which could be repeated in most contexts, wouldn't be that much more... says greedy me. The only problem is that Apropos would have to support other mods calling custom, named dialogs and using that text instead of the lines that go with the animation. And THAT might be just a little too much for them to do, at least for now.

I did it on 2 vanilla playthroughs and ..... not looking forward to spending all that time again Also, Serana is telling me we should go to Winterhold... the College.... and who do I see there? I've tried several instructors and Ulag-Grub in the Arcaneum. Not sure what I need to be doing. You can spoler me in PM if you think it will wrek this for somebody. So far... wow.... SOOOoooo much better than a vanilla Dawnguard runthrough... awesome work on this.

This Mod doesn't get involved, besides having Serana get hungry from time to time so you keep interacting with her on the journey. I strongly recommend doing "Chasing Echoes" and "Beyond Death" in Dawnguard before going to Blackreach. Otherwise you'll do Blackreach without the extra Serana interaction when she gets Hungry. After you get the quest to get the Dragon Scroll from the old guy out on the ice, naturally you can just use the console command "moveto" to teleport to the scroll using its Reference ID and avoid the dungeon dive into Blackreach, if you want to just console-cheat past all that. Actually, this Mod doesn't get involved with any of what happens in Vanilla Dawnguard. Everything still all goes down exactly the same, except with the new sub-plots around Serana's romance. Thanks! The laugh... the laugh never ends... Episode 10 is out! I think next time some solicitor comes knocking on the door to try and sell me something, I'm going to try and talk to them like Cicero.

Except for Serana's Lover Hellos. You'll might want those sometime in the future. (Sorry, I don't know anything about Apropos. Never used it. I'm always developing so I mostly just use my Masters and beautifiers. No interest in developing for it). Thanks!

Got a boat load of requirements however, but I linked them all. Every single vanilla NPC in the game will be covered by this, and together with the mods linked will totally change your game. Feel free to link to that post or copy it enitrely if you want to include this in your Recommended section FoxFingers, I'd be honored! I'm hoping someone will actually use this and enjoy it as it took the better part of a day+evening to put together.

Have I missed a conversation or do I have a mod conflict or something? I'm assuming it's something to do with my setup since no one else seems to be having this problem

This Mod does not interfere with Bethesdas game. It is separate quests which generally just involve dialogue. Amorous Adventures does not block people from interacting with the base game, which has plenty of bugs all on its own. It doesn't need my help. Thanks!

I "lose" little bits of very specific memories. So... even though I've played through a few times, sometimes certain parts of the playthrough are like... new... again. So... playing through the Serana/Dawnguard quests. I've played through to killing Harkon. Back on the Ice Water Jetty. Saved there. Now... I ask Serana if she's thought about being cured, she goes away for a few days, meets me back at Fort Dawnguard. #1 Her eyes still appear bright yellow even though she says she's now human. #2 Related to Amorous Adventures... She still wants to feed on me. Blood and Sex was not complete when she went off to be cured. Should I have waited until Blood and Sex was complete before asking her about being cured? I looked though my mods and I do not appear to have anything that changes Serana. I would be interested in suggestions for a Serana beautifier that will still use the default body and skeleton and hopefully use the existing face textures so I don't get color mismatch at the neck.

All the way through the Snow Elf Way shrines to killing Harkon and she still wasn't done? I guess I need to adjust the timer on that. Sorry it worked out that way. Thanks!
chajapa Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Please don't apologize. This is definitely one of the best mods I've ever installed. I used it early on and didn't have this Serana content (that I can remember....). And running through this with her using AA was fabulous! The timing is much more likely to be due to my rushing through to get to the next part. So I wouldn't trouble yourself with changing it. I'm still on the fence about curing her. I've gone back to a save after Harkon, but before I asked her if ever thought about a cure. I'm not sure I see any real benefit to curing her. Nor do I see a disadvantage in leaving her as a vampire. My PC never became one. Sided with Dawnguard. I think I'm level 16 or 18 now and haven't killed that first dragon. Definitely more fun this way. And I'm amazed at the voice work. Must take forever to put this together. (*applause*) VERY well done. I thank you for making this all so much fun again.

I think she still tries to wear that hoodie too. If you keep her a vampire check out the info on restarting her hunger timer a couple pages back if you liked that. When she bites you as part of Amorous Adventures she's just feeding on you, not turning you into a vampire. Actually, she should have fed on you a few times by now if you are at the Soul Cairn, so I hope you are getting all the Amorous story line points. Thanks!

If I leave Serana a vampire, but I have no intention of having her turn ME into a vampire.... is there a way to "turn off" that dialogue? OR.... since I haven't clicked on it yet.... can you tell me if there's a "bail out" ? Some kind of "Are you sure?" in case I accidentally click on it?

There are three ways into Blackreach, and if you don't like Alftand, you can go in Rhadbthar (I think) and another one. UESP for Blackreach and it'll give you the list. You could also just find the Mzard greater lift (think that's the name) and open the console, click on it, type unlock, close console, and just head in.

I have one save there I am married to Serana and she made me one vampire and there are no "bail out" After you have clicked "yes" when she ask the line Foxfinger says. "Are you really, really sure you want it?" When you click YES after that line you will be bitten by Serana and become vampire. Poor Gregor me and Serana have feed on him many times now

Uninstall version 2.0 via NMM 2. Install version 2.02 via NMM 3. Start the game and i continue my game.. would the updating mess up my current playthrough? and the quests that i have been through? By the way you are really awesome foxfingers.. the world needs more people like you
