Amorous Adventures [v3.4] (2018/06/02)

So this is odd, this mod called Amorous Adventures just showed up on the list of Files of the Month over on Nexus. Have anyone heard of it? What the hell, how did this mod end up there after like just over two days on Nexus? That's rather unheard of.

Also I think over a hundred unique people just downloaded the mod in a 5-minute span in a time when most of the english speaking world is asleep or just waking up.

That's just crazy talk, now. Come on.

Gee, it is.

Toldya you self-doubter you. ;)

Request by the way, I've seen this being asked about before and elswhere by female players or players who don't have any interest in female romances and only get the mod for Farkas and Vilkas (there's actually a couple of them, and I've sometimes installed it if I plan on marrying Farkas with my beastly gal without planning to do the others); when you start up the Amorous Companions quests all four start up, but you only have the option to turn down Farkas and Vilkas. I'm sure more than me would love to have the option to turn down Aela and Njada occasionally as well. This is the only point in the mod when additional quests/characters not directly related to your Amorous target (as in the case of Anekke/Sylgja or Janessa/Adelaisa or Elisif/Half of Solitude) are "forced" on us.

Now I'll just go and be sad about FoxFingers having twice as many Kudoses with 1/100th of my posts over on Nexus. [sadface]

Oh, good call.  Will change it next update.

Probably going to have to put out a maintenance release fixing little issues like that when I get back from holiday.

Uh, addendum. Does that mean that the black out parts are supposed to happen instead of a scene? Say, for Lydia, when you first prompt it, it's just fade and text, there's no scene.

No, if you are using the SexLab version you should have a sexy time after the romantical blurb.

So, likely you are not loading up the SexLab version of the .esp.  My guess.

Thanks!

Well now I don't know what's up, since the SL version is the only related .esp I have. The SexLab framework itself is working fine, just not this.

Shut down your game.

Completely remove all amorousadv* scripts from your data/scripts directory if that's where they are

(In a perfect world you'd use Mod Organizer)

Install the SexLab version fresh

Bring up the game.

Try to bang

I did a complete uninstall, reinstalled with Mod Organizer, still no dice on the scenes. After I get out of the text blurb i spend about one second frozen, then back to gameplay as normal.

I know what it is; you haven't actually activated Sexlab 1.6 yet have you? You need to go into it's MCM menu and activate the mod first since it stopped being 1.59c. Also of course make sure you run FNIS after you've installed Sexlab.

If you have done these things do this; from the main menu before loading your save game bring up console and type "coc riverwood" and do Camilla's thing, after she's escorted you to the bridge leading out of Riverwood she's supposed to give you a blowjob, if she does then it's your old save that's broken from having had the other version in it, if she won't then it's Sexlab that doesn't work for some reason.

Also try installing this and starting sex with it; http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/163-sexlab-matchmaker-updated-09172014/That will tell you for sure if Sexlab works for you.

Yeah, something has to be amiss.  Using Mod Organizer I can

Check AmorousAdventures-v2_07_02-clean

start game and run a scene and it's just clean... fade to black only

Shut down

Uncheck clean

Check AmorousAdventures-v2_07_02-SexLab

start the game and run the same scene and sexy time happens.

Especially, using Mod Organizer, it should be a seamless transition.

Unfortunately I've had it active the whole time, I checked. I tested with Camilla and i only got the second of freeze time, but MatchMaker worked just fine.

Hurm. Okay at this point you're just going to have to give us a Papyrus output. If you don't know how to do that, in Mod Organizer click the "puzzle" icon then "ini editor", then scroll down to [Papyrus] and change bEnableLogging=0 and bEnableTrace=0 both to 1 (change them back to 0 once this is done, don't leave this on). Now start game, try to engage in sex via Amorous like Camilla's blowjob, quit the game, your papyrus logs will be found in my documents/my games/skyrim/logs/script and the file you want is Papyrus.0.log, put that as an attachment to your post and we'll look at it if Amorous is giving out it's Sexlab calls or not.

Okay, I've installed and confirmed it's working on my system, but may I ask is there a way to start Serana's quest after actually starting dawnguard? I installed the mod after filling the bloodstone chalice, and setting quest stage to 10 / 20 does nothing as I assume I missed some triggers. Any idea how to get it working?

Filled the Bloodstone chalice is all you've done, have you gotten the quest to look for the Moth Priest? Serana's first quest ends on the docks to Castle Vohikar just before you cross over, so if you're trying to setstage that, yeah too late. Rather you should setstage the second quest just to start it, then try to talk to Serana once you've set out to look for the Moth Priest.

Also you've missed some very important context; Serana was supposed to feed on you in the cave and drink your dragonborn blood. She'll still want to as she's kinda addicted to by now, doesn't matter at all that you're a vampire as well, your dragon blood (aka divine blood) is what's important, not that you're not pumping it anymore or you occasionally need refills. Oh yeah and she totally stood you up and refused to have sex with you after getting what she wanted.

If you haven't started / found the Moth Priest yet, then:

setstage SexLabAmorousAdventuresDLC1_Main 5

and it probably will work out.  You'll just have missed the romance opener / set-up.  So you'll pick it up in progress and figure it out.

this is amazing, well well done. so far ive done the lydia quest and im on jenassas. sometimes i find mods that just make me want to play skyrim even longer and this is one of those mods. good good job.

any plans for a spouse quest? i know theres spouses enhanced, but i dunno, i love things that make spouses more fun.

again this is awesome. actually playing this in a dedicated playthrough, so, sadly i've done the dawnguard quests. too bad. ill be trying that little trick to get the quest working, but hey if my game ever breaks ill be happy about starting over.

Yes I haven't, and that should work. I've seen the intro in the amorous playthroughs, so that's fine. That being said, awesome, awesome mod. Amazing work done to mash the voice files and fits wonderfully into the game. Thank you so much for this! ^-^

So... is it true that there won't be a FoT 4 AA due to the protagonist beinge voiced over?

Last time I felt like this was when my parents told me there was no Santa Claus.

You really should have put that last sentence in a spoiler.

All the future quest mods for F04 will have to do with an unvoiced protagonist. Or do the work Foxfinger is already doing but doubled, since you need to voice both the Pc and the Npcs.

Posted

Make that plural PC's, the male and female voice, so if FoxFingers were to do a Amorous Fallout, he'd have to put together the voice work for the NPCs involved, the male he's likely to play and the female he's not likely to play. Sure he could do unvoiced protagonist... but at that point it's another unvoiced mod!

I've said multiple times that I don't mind future Amorous content being unvoiced, the voice work is AMAZING, but I could live without it if it means more cool quests. As of yet FoxFingers has replied by... putting out more awesome fully voiced quests.

Plus like 5-10 pages back in this thread he specifically stated no Amorous Fallout, he was done, and the two protagonist voices would be just too much.

The longer I think about this feature of FO4 the more I'm convinced that Bethesda decided to do one of the two things: either they want to make modders' work harder as far as new quests are concerned, or they will give us some tools in the CK to be able to work with the voiced PC. I think it was Shinji who mentioned in one of his videos that probably first thing will be for modders to do a "non-voice" patch (or whatever you may call it). Then everything could get back to normal.

For me as well AA is mainly a brilliant quest mod, funny, entertaining, designed very well with the voiced content that makes it even more attractive. It's not my intention to underestimate FoxFingers's hard work on the audio part, but I'm sure he will come up with some excellent work of art should he decide to make a "FOAA" mod. Yet, on second thought, I'd rather have some new content to the Skyrim version. :)

Could be half voiced, if only NPc are voiced.

And for immersion, if think there will be a turn off PC voice option, or mod.

So you can play without voiced PC from start to end, without breaking immersion, when passing from Vanilla to moded content

No. Morpheus taught me to believe, I know Foxy is the Chosen One (FallOut pun intended).

He will manage. I know.  He's our gallant hero who has come to whisk us away to a life of amorous adventures. And romance.

So near the conclusion of the morthal quest was I the only one who...

wabbajacked old ravencrone because I thought maybe I was supposed to as part of fulfilling the quest?

So far, yes.

Ballsy move.

I've been looking into the Wabbajack and considering modding it so the wabba-shot doesn't actually do any damage. Default it does almost as much damage as a crossbow shot (with no skill), which is why NPCs go berserk. Imagine using the Wabbastick on Nazeem, transforming him into a chicken, he bounce back a few moments later, no one's hostile to you.

All you need then is the cheesiest shout of them all; http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12752/?

I was wondering if anyone would do that.

You know FoxFingers, Kryptopyr worked insanely hard on CACO, had to request help from several other modders to add in bomb-throwing and similar things and changing all of Skyrim's Alchemy, fixing Bethesda's many mistakes, as well as making cooking actually rewarding and melding in several other mods and nexus contributions like water plants, changing Skyrim's entire eco system, hunting, everything, and even included a basic but extremely workable needs mods, with an awesome MCM mod to control all of that. It is a mod that would have been a godsend in early days of Skyrim modding, and had it come earlier we all would have been using it because half the mods on the nexus would be adapted to work with her mod.

And in a couple of days, Amorous Adventures is probably going to outrank her on the File of the Month list. You evil person you.

Though to be perfectly fair you probably spent more time on the sound editor for Amorous than she did working on her mod. And your mod is a lot less likely to have bugs, and I'm not just talking about the ones you crush into paste. Plus yours is actually the one of the two I'm using, because hers conflcts with so much. So yeah. :P
