I'm using an HDT 1.3 body and CBBE textures. So this DOES work with CBBE.

When Uthgurd gets pregnant it goes from saying:

WHORE on her belly to saying

WHORE

kinda funny. :)

RaceMenu 2.7.2 is up on nexus. Includes a new nioverride that should fix tattoos not appearing on custom races/armors until disable/enable or a cell change.

That interface is pretty clunky. Couldn't remember the last used actor, and cleared everything once or twice. Sometimes it had issues with the textures and turned my whole body except the face purple. But the main issue was that the typefaces used didn't look that good, and for example the scrawling one was a little too rough looking, and also in general a lot of the fonts were a little too large. It's still an early version though I guess, but I would have liked to have seen more filled figures like in this Oblivion mod which does the same thing: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19911-wearable-tattoos-and-body-writings/

Broken meaning they turn you blue, or don't show up, or you wish they were higher resolution, or they don't give satisfactory oral sex, or what?

I did more testing. Looks like it`s some kind of overflow - after several cycles of adding/removing tattoos it starts behaving erratically and tires to place things like "left leg" into body category, or draw cheek tattoos at arms.

I blame SKSE 1.7 alpha, but unfortunately latest version of Lovers requires it and doesn`t work on stable SKSE 1.6.

Oh, well, at least quitting to desktop and restarting Skyrim fixes it.

I used this mod quite a bit and it worked quite well until... I tried out ECE instead of RaceMenu and it no longer works.  I like ECE so much better than RaceMenu I really don't want to switch back.  On the other hand, this mod adds a neat touch to the game, is it possible for this to work with Enhanced Character Edit?

Posted

In its current format? No.

ECE has no overlay layer that I know of, or atleast it's not used like Racemenu's.

Thanks, circ.  Too bad.

One other question.  I was using this Slave Tats with SD+ in the past and the tatoos would get cleared off my character when she was enslaved.  Anyone have this issue?

Posted

Yeah, SlaveTats depends on some very cool infrastructure created by the author of RaceMenu. You might be able to install RaceMenu and then overwrite it with ECE (I haven't tried that, let me know if it works), and there's a package called NiOverride that should allow you to get by without RaceMenu (but, at last report, doesn't). If neither of those approaches works, you'll have to choose which feature you want more.

Thanks, murfk.  I had read a bit about NiOverride but was a bit confused about it.  I understand, I'll make the choice for ECE for now but I have RaceMenu at the ready if I want to enhance the game a bit.

murfk, if I wanted to create some custom tatoos and add them to the slavetats mod would that be alright?  I had opened the files and saw that each is a dds file which I'm unfamiliar with.  My background is design/illustraton and I'm predominantly a Mac user.  I tried to open the dds files with PhotoShop (on my Mac) but had no luck.

New tats are welcome. If you can't work with the DDS format, use PNG instead; I'll convert them.

You're going to want a UNP skin texture to use as a guide for the placement of the tattoos.

This one.

Applying some tattoo's (breast one i think) after already picking a full body one turned my characters body blue.

I unselected the full body and re-applied that last and everything worked fine from then on.

Maybe a order of application problem?

This is why you shouldn't give Nazeem a pen

ZaZ animation pack I think. Used in Prison Overhaul in this case.

Okay, thanks.  My original plan was just to duplicate one of your dds files and use that as a guide.  I don't have a lot of new ideas for tattoos and I don't plan on anything elaborate.  I just want to resize a few and change their fonts to something like Raziel and Scrawl, which I prefer.

Is their a cheap or free program that is available for the PC that I can use instead of doing the work in PhotoShop on my Mac?

Gimp is free, but the interface might seem a little clunky. Other than that, it's similar to earlier versions of PS.

I installed the newest race menu and everything seems to be working very well. Only problem I have is that only one tat appears on the left cheek and right cheek even if I selected multiple tats per cheek.
