Hi all, I played on SSE eith se version. Most stuff works fine but if I look very closely to the npc tattoo or use fov to zoom into the tattoo I got CTD for some reason

Below is the Net Script crash log, it kinda point toward slavetat (I did this in a very small shack without any other npc)

Spoiler

Unhandled native exception occurred at 0x7FFD15F1B6FF (doticu_npcp.dll+1B6FF) on thread 2108!

Also, anyone know which mod can I use to quickly trigger rape/sex on npc I bound in a zaz gag/cuff?

The dll listed in the crash (doticu_npcp.dll), has nothing to do with Slavetats.  It belongs to this mod:  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/31950

Hmm, since the crash only happen when I look at slavetat and that mod did manage clothing. Maybe they are conflicting?

It's a follower mod that manage her and 400 other npcs at the moment, never had crash like this until I add slavetat to the mix. But I will try on an NPC that are not manage by that mod to see what happen. Thank you

Another question, do you know if slavetat compatible with PAHE slave?

As you're the 1st person I've ever seen reporting this kind of crash related to Slavetats, odds are it is an issue with that mod that owns the DLL that is crashing.  If that mod is attempting to control texture overlays, there could be a conflict.  Something the mod author that owns the dll will need to address.

AFAIK, Slavetats overlays are compatible with all playable NPC races.  Slavetats uses Racemenu functions to apply the overlays, so they have similar scope.

I see, I will check on those. Thank a bunch!

I'm using SlaveTatsSE-1.3.5.2.7 and playing Skyrim Special Edition.

Edit: I uninstalled all my sexlab mods I installed in the last month and it started working. I will post again when I figure out which mod was the culprit. Thank you for the information it helped me figure it out.

I have EXACTLY the same problem. Were you able to figure out anything?

ok so i made a testing texture that covers the entire body, and most hairstyles have this white outline that flickers in and out of existence depending on the camera angle. vanilla hair does not have this issue and if anyone knows a workaround this or a fix please share it.

need to check your full body norse tat, it causes a CTD when trying to apply it

I hit the same issue and have no idea what's wrong with the file, but opening it in GIMP and re-exporting it without compression fixes CTD. File is now gigantic but I have no idea how to do this properly, Skyrim seems to be picky when it comes to compression.

Some brave volunteer probably should run a script over all the textures and check that they're ok, I bet there's a gazillion rarely used ones there that may or may not cause random CTDs. (Also, while you're at it, bundle them up).

This is messing up my game somehow. Every time I start an animation it always ends up like this. I was going to use this for Apropos' dynamic wear and tear visuals.

If anyone can help, this is my load order.

This is messing up my game somehow. Every time I start an animation it always ends up like this. I was going to use this for Apropos' dynamic wear and tear visuals.

If anyone can help, this is my load order.

That would not be caused by SlaveTats, it happens when a mod is looking for an animation in SexLab and it doesn't find it.

I can't identify the culprit in your load order, but I see a few things that are possibly off:

1- XPMSE.esp loads early when it should be amongst the last thing to load - nothing should ever overwrite it, and that might be the cause.

Check if anything overwrites it, and make sure that XPMSE always overwrites everything.

To fix your load order, Install LOOT (search on Google for LOOT: Load Order Optimation Tool) if you don't have it already. Once installed, run it, and keep running it after you make any changes to your mods.

If LOOT reports errors:
LOOT will generally tell you how to fix the errors (missing masters or errors in the .esp).
You may need to get TES5Edit (on Nexus) and use the "QuickAutoClean" to fix any mods that has errors.

You also have 4 .esp for Realistic Ragdoll Force when you should have only 1 activated. The mod probably installs all 4 and you need to manual select the one you want to keep active. You can delete the 3 you don't want from your Data folder. Since you already have XPMSE though, you probably don't need this mod at all, unless you want something a setting other than realistic.

2- Get SexLab ssAnimations Slots 2000 - this allows you to increase the number of animations built in SexLab, which could be the cause of the issue if it is not the XPMSE skeleton. Once you install this, activate all of the animations you want in SLAnimLoader in MCM, then select "Rebuilt Animations in Sexlab" to register the new animations.

I believe that doing all of what I listed should fix your issue. If not, feel free to poke me.

Oh yeah I just started using vortex recently still figuring out how to change load order manually but I'll just go back to using LOOT. Also I forgot ragdoll force obsolete now its been years since I played. I doubt its the animation though I haven't reached sexlabs 500 anims limit also the animation plays fine but the actors are transported in the sky.

Thanks for this! I'll get on it later tonight.

All marks and tats in my character do not apply in the face\head.

I read in the past the file nioverride.ini needs to have this changed --->

; Determines whether face overlays are enabled
; disabling this disables the hook
; Note: face overlays are known to crash when decapitated
bEnableFaceOverlays=0 ; Default[0]
-> set to 1 but I already did it and nothing changed.

[Overlays/Face] ; "Face [Ovl#]" and "Face [SOvl#]"
; Determines how many face overlays there should be
iNumOverlays=17 ; Default[3]
-> this also to more than 3 but I already did it and nothing changed.
iSpellOverlays=0 ; Default[0]

Who knows why I get no marks in the face but I do get them everywhere else??? :O

OK FIXED. TURNED OUT I NEEDED TO CHANGE THE NIOVERRIDE.INI FROM THE NEXUSMODMANAGER VIRTUAL INSTALL....  SOLVED PROBLEM.

Hey is there a good way of previewing what the tat will look like on cbbe body without having to open up the game every time?

You can change the textures and the json files while the game is running. They get read afresh each time.

I have been using SlaveTats on LE for years and just switched to SE. I am very familiar with updating NiOverride.ini in LE.

In SE, I am using Racemenu. I do not have a NiOverride.ini file in my entire Skyrim folder.  Slavetats are working but I only have 6 Body, 3 Face, 3 Hands, and 3 Feet slots.

SLIF came with NiOverride.json but the format is completely unfamiliar to me.

How do I increase the slots in SE?

You're looking for skee64.ini

Hello,

i used this preset https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65902/

and slavetats says on some slots are external tats or something like that. is grey, cant change them.

i suppose that will be a problem when ill need a spot for tats that are coming from other mods. Is there a way to tell i was supposed a get a tat but didnt get it because of this problem ?

Or do i just have to know Here i was supposed to get that, but didnt ?
