I have a small issues where if i trigger a generic trap, the devices it equip act as if i've done so voluntarily, giving me options to put them on or carry on, though living latex and its devices worked perfectly. Wonder if it's some compatibility issues or a hidden feature?

Unfortunately, that's no more than script lag. If the script is fast enough, the devices get equipped as soon as you touch the container. If your game (or another scene) is script heavy, it fires only when the chest (or whatever) is already open, and the DD script thinks you're equipping from your inventory.

Healslut makes you into a superhero lol
I modified it to the following:
35 Restoration
30 Magic damage reduction
30% less damage taken

Still makes you super powerful, but not an unkillable god, will continue to tweak it

Well, upon making the changes and attempting to get the healslut mark again to confirm
I still get the message that it has been applied, but it does not actually apply, even if manually adding the tattoo, it simply vanishes and nothing happens

Fixed:
If the glow is not removed when the mark is removed it confuses the mod, you may have to manually remove the glow via slavetats before any mark can be re-applied.

I have this issue as well for the newest 0.7.1 version. But if I rollback to the old 0.6.2 version, it works just fine. Any idea why?

Same here... 0.7.0 and 0.7.1 both give me the put on or carry on options; switching back to 0.6.2 has things working correctly.  This is for standard  devices events;  contraptions, living latex etc all work fine in all versions.  Also, I have contraption events set to also equip devices, and that works correctly in all versions.

I´ve always had that happen if I am in the inventory while it is happening and on all versions.

Great work on the this mod. I am enjoying it a lot. I know you probably have a lot of suggestions on your hands, but if you don't mind another; would you consider making an option where having an unbound follower decreases your chance for random sex as a consequence? Such that they are "protecting you" or perhaps "protecting their property".

Loving the new update! I have some questions though. When the madness plug ends and releases you it summons way too many restraints and spews gold everywhere is this intended? It almost seems like its summoning 2 sets, because I get equipped with a full set of restraints and then there is somewhat of a complete set on the ground so I was wondering if that was intended for the follower perhaps?

Is there a way to guarantee trigger some of the curse marks for testing?   

 

edit ; Other than the ones in the description that are attached to certain quests.

You can edit the probabilities in the MCM to your liking - set everything alse to zero, then all that's left to trigger would be a curse mark.

I'm a little confused here as I'm also having an issue with Lewd Marks just appearing as greyed out in the Events tab and in the "Lewd Marks" menu screen, even though it looks like I should have everything installed correctly. 

 

Did you mean I should apply one of the marks to my character, save the game, and then reload?

simple question, when a curse activates a furniture, my character just kinda stands there for motionless until the time is up. The static furnitures all work in the world, and the console tells me its a furniture that ive seen work before, it just doesnt spawn anything in until the alotted time is up, then the furnite flashes in for a second and disappears. its not a huge deal, just curious if there's something i missed.

I got the madness plug applied a while ago. It stayed on and kept creating orgasms and other stuff. All good. One thing that it did is summon madness nipple piercings. Ok fine. Finally, it must have triggered enough orgasms and then disappeared after covering me in DD items. The issue is the nipple piercing that is still on my character. I'm trying to play through and have it resolve but it has been forever and it doesn't seem to have any point where it disappears, and the orgasms that it is inflicting is in fact driving me mad. I just can't stand playing anymore because the character has an orgasm every two minutes, while the animation takes about one minute. so. basically, half the time I'm sitting around waiting for orgasm animations to resolve. It is boring as well and I'm getting sick of it. Since there is no way to remove the piercings, I'm assuming that there is some way that they will come off themselves, but I'm fed up waiting for it, and just can't tolerate it anymore. Is this an error? Are they gonna come off at some point? If so, WHEN? If it isn't an error, it would be nice to have some clue as to what is going on, and probably dial this item's length of time down WAAAAY  more, because this is insane. I don't want to cheat them off, but I'm going to have to because it is just too much and I can't waste any more time because as far as I know this could be an error and might never end.

FYI, the color picker MCM option for Extended Vanilla Menus is incompatible with MCM Helper and most other UI mods that use ski_configbase.pex. Posting this here because I could not get MCM Helper to work to save my life, and had no idea what was going on until I narrowed it down. Installed at the suggestion of this mod, so yeah. Don't install Color Picker for MCM if you use other mods that need that script.

The True Madness setting suggests "permanent" changes to the player, could we get some elaboration on what that means? I saw that someone else asked that a while ago but never got a full answer or a response from the mod author. 

 

IMO, when it comes to "permanent changes" to the PC, it is not a good practice to leave this ambiguous. Let us know what we're in for so we can make an informed decision :)

The madness piercing can be removed through lockpicking. It is a master lock though, so removing it can be challenging.

And if you have a problem with the long animations, try sneaking or being in a conversation when the orgasm happens. If you are concentrated on something the animation wont happen and instead some of your recources are drained.

Thanks. I guess I missed the lockpicking because it uses the same key as the madness plug, which isn't a normal key. I did finally cheat it off with Devious Equip. At least I know now what to expect when it gets put on me again. 

Another vote for the above comment of letting us know what the permanent changes to our characters are with the madness plug. That should be revealed ahead of time.

Healslut cause a float underflow on destructionMod actorValue and is not erased after the magic effect ends. The fortify destruction used (0007A0F6) only modify the magicka cost of spells not their damage (0003EB26).

Is the Sheogorath plug supposed to equip devices on the PC randomly after orgasm? It's not listed as a manifest device (UD). Honestly, I feel like the orgasms themselves are more than enough disruption/inconvenience, I don't think we need it also adding devices on top of that. Just my $0.02. At the very least I'll be turning down the weight for this event by a lot.

Is it fixed in 0.7.1 or do we need to do what @XsZeroAxel suggests?

 

(I'm down a dwemer dungeon ATM and don';t want to upgrade until it's done

 

And, FWIW, is there any way of toggling 'Living Latex'  to be completely 'OFF' and then 'ON' again.  I have it set at 1, with the alternatives dialled well up, but I still get it equipped at times when it really doesn't fit the gameplay too well - this Dwemer Dungeon is a case in point

Yes, it would be nice if all the Oppressive Devices chance sliders could go to zero instead of stopping at 1.

So about oppressive devices, i find them trivial if all they need for removal is 1 attempt for master lock and that's it. It didn't even get to trigger any event. They might at least require some different kind of key with no lockpicking option, and a way to get it by adventuring. I don't know what's best thing here.

 

The random sex option is happening too often. The MCM is not telling what those "cooldown" or "interval" mean on that page. Is it ingame-minutes or hours or realtime minutes perhaps. It was at 120 "something" earlier but i set it to 300 for now and see how it goes... This is max that slider allows though.

 

Why was "search interval" for the random sex set to only 5 "something" by default? 5 realtime seconds? If i set cooldown to 5 hours then would that keep doing some CPU heavy scan every 5 seconds regardless?

 

And about loot itself, i expected plants and mining to also trigger events or find keys. As well as any containers even if they are "empty" by game might have a key in it afterall when checked... or a trap.

Ever since updating to version 0.7.1 a couple of days ago, I've been having issues between Devious Curses and Unforgiving Devices.

Whenever I trigger a curse event, and it applies devices to my character or followers.
A lot of the time they are bugged and have UD errors "Error getting script for [Armor < (devices ID)>] on [Actor < (characters ID)>]"
Affected devices don't show in UD's debug menu, and, although showing up in inventories, cannot be interacted with/removed from the effected characters inventory.

The weirdest thing is they typically only break on a single character, other characters ones work fine, and up until just now, they exclusively only broke on a single follower,
but now they instead break on a different follower, and my character.
This issue has persisted on new games, and with both the included UH patch, and a Synthesis UH patch.
Curses is set to only use UH compatible devices.

No idea what the issue is, but it only happens when Devious Curses 0.7.1 is installed.
I've had no issues with DD/DDNG, UD, or DCNG until now, it's super weird.

I'm wondering if it was caused by updating Curses and not starting a new game?
Or maybe there's something you are supposed to do before updating that I've missed?
