I've found it necessary to go through certain mods and exclude every single device by ID to ensure I get all the ones that are unlocked by plot rather than key. It's not urgent, but it's constantly surprising how effectively this mod scours other mods for DDs to equip.

Much easier to handle than using prefixes for editor ids or the like. If you know of any plugins that should be blanket excluded let me know so I can put them as the default for the file. 2

The Trappings of Fate and Deviously Accessible. Both have custom devices that are introduced via quests. Oh, and Deviously Cursed Loot for sure - it has at least one full set of inescapable devices. Not sure about Devious Lore or others.

DDa, DDi, DDe, and DDc are pure framework. They do nothing on their own other than sit there. One of the enduring myths is that DD mods "take over" your game, but they do nothing without actual scripts to make the devices work. And by nothing, I mean they'll sit there eating a tiny amount of system resources for nothing at all until you call them. DC-NG is an example of a mod that makes them do something. So is DCL. One is huge, one is tiny. One is up to date, one is not. They both do the same thing, relatively speaking.

I got bound with pieces of sh't I didn't even know still existed, because it scans all possible mods for devious devices. Yes, the framework does nothing on its own, but this mod does. Why else would you want to exclude some mods that have their own mechanics amd quests.

I might add more specific filtering in the future. I like this idea and will probably implement it in the next major version. Good news, IDK if it was a bunch of framework reinstalls I did or the new version or what, but no CTD from exiting MCM anymore! Glad to report it.

monsta88 Posted December 20, 2025 Posted December 20, 2025 Possible issue in v0.7.0 Hotfix: I got the Healslut curse. One issue is the explanation of the curse is very misleading: The other thing is more serious. My bow's damage went to zero. I was without a follower in a dangerous area, so I used my Remove Tattoo Charm (or whatever it called) I found much earlier. It removed the tattoo and my bow's damage went back up to normal damage. However, the enchantment stopped working. This is a crafted bow, enchanted with a Summermyst v3.0.7 enchantment (a DoT fire effect). Now the bow still uses its energy, but the targets never start to burn. Is this a known issue? I did not check the newer versions yet.

It starts loading the contraption and my character starts to pose, then the device fades out and my character just idles. all the mechanics work, the menu and struggling but no device or further animations. Anyone got any ideas?

I've tried a couple of things to make it more consistent, but nothing has stuck yet.

I got the lewd mark and I'm getting stopped every few stepps to have sex with my follower or one of my slaves. After 25 scenes the mark dissapered byt the scenes still keep triggering. I can´t eaven play for a minute before i get into a new scene. In the console it looks like this. Any way to stop this from happening? 1

From what I heard it's a bug with the healslut tattoo, where the effect persists even after the tattoo is gone. Don't think the plug can do this.

On the next one I have the Healslut tattoo with the crazy mana and unfortunately back then I had the v0.7.0 version. I updated to v0.7.3 (and now to v0.7.4), but it doesn't fix the issue. What can I do? Is there maybe an SSEEdit script to fix it or something? I'm 200+ hours into this game, so I'd prefer to fix it somehow. (I had the same problem when installing this)
