It seems like for some reason it is unable to equip any devices. I'm not sure what would cause this. It could be that you are already wearing restraints that use the same slots as the ones that are equipped, or your exclusions file cancels out the theme I'm using for the devices. I might add a backup event if the first fails, but I'm not sure about that yet.Ā

If I did it would be in a different mod most likely. Or if someone else was interested and thought it was helpful I would be willing to expose parts of this mod through papyrus so that others could work on projects like that.

Well, I think that is the reason. The device theme function seems not to support DD device names in other languages. When I change it back to English, it works correctly.

I have experienced a strange thing.

This mod equipped a plug from the Devious Regulations mod on my character.

Except it didn't show up in my inventory.

I tried to do the regular solution for bugged devices, Showinventory and then Removeitem, but I later noticed it just kept reappearing.

I had to spawn in a Magic Key and use it, and so far that seems to have worked.

For me it automatically ate the different 2 to 3 weight dwarven items, like the metal plates or the gyros.

Also make sure that you have PO3's tweaks installed. The theme function checks the editor id as well, and as far as I'm aware this is not translated. Without PO3's tweaks it can't correctly check the editor id. If you already have that installed, then I'll have to find a different solution to localization for that.

Devious Regulations is very old and has a couple of issues. I wouldn't expect this behavior, but it's not surprising. You can prevent those plugs from being equipped by adding the line "plugstormcloak | plugimperial" to your DeviousCursesExclusions file.

The cuirass will take dwemer items from your pack periodically. You should get a message when this happens.

Double check the Prefer Relevant Keys setting in the MCM. this may be causing the problem.

My chastity key issue was due to Deviously Helpless Redux, which apparently provides chastity keys to bandits, etc

Ok my problem isn't solved... I don't wear any collar but mod still thinks about summoner collar with weight set to 1, summon chance set to 0 and locks me in restraints.

Will not happen. I've asked Kimy years ago to make two mods out of Cursed Loot, one with the nice traps, and another with the pesky quests. It's too interweaved to seperate them.

This is exactly why I would separate them out if I was doing that. Preferably if someone else wanted to work on questsĀ in a separate modĀ I could expose whatever API needed to make that work.

I think one of the breaking points for me with DCL was when the quests were all linked together and could no longer function on their own.

This is theoretically possible. Most of the implementation that DCL uses can be replicated by Devious Curses, an API just needs to be made. I'm just not the person to work on that.

I had Cursed Loot installed alongside this mod, just so I could do the cursed collar and Bound Queen quests. You can kick off the Bound Queen without doing the previous series of quests by reading the book in the riverwood sex club,Ā  and then continue into the Cursed Collar quest as usual.Ā  Personally I'd love to see those quests separated out, but I wouldn't have a clue how to go about it...

Edit theĀ DeviousCursesExclusions.json in Data/SKSE/Plugins - use the name how they appear ingame.

(I use Devious Lore, so I cannot tell you how they are called in the vanilla DDs)

getting an 'esp is not loaded' message, and to 'install backported esl support is installed' they definitely are. now i'm stuck on an infinite loading screen on loading the game up.

Curious thing. My character is finding a LOT of chastity keys on dead bandits. I mean like one out every four bandits has one, and always a chastity key. But I have the chance of finding any key at all set to 1%, and the weighting favors restraint keys at 80 with chastity keys at 50. Now I do have the pickpocket multiplier set at 5X - which I would expect to make the chances about 1 in 20, not 1 in 4 - and that would be assuming that looting dead bandits counts as pickpocketing (Does it?). I guess I could just be having an incredible run of luck (in which case I need to run to the convenience store and start buying lottery tickets). Another possibility might be that some other mod is adding chastity keys to bandits, but I don't know of any I have that might do that .

I'm having an issue where it doesnt seem to be ever rolling a hit for a device to be equipped, I even set the chance to 100% while in the wilderness and still nothing. I occasionally see keys but that's about as far as it goes.Ā 

I also disabled strip armour keywords and increased the restraints cap to 15 (and unequipped some gear since I thought the bikini armour may have been seen as DD due to the slots) to try see if it was that but it didn't help. Also disabled quicklootIE since I thought that may be the cause but also nothing.Ā 

The arousal mod im using (SLO Aroused) likely isnt being read by this mod, I set the arousal minimum to 0 and it worked.

On the "Sex" MCM page, what events are supposed to happen if "Enabled" is turned on, but "Random sex" is turned off?

In other words, does this mod initiate any sex events other than the random sex events?

DeviousCurses_0.6.2_HOTFIX2 just crash my game the moment I talk to any NPC. I tested it with coc whiterun so sexlab hasn't been installed and it CTD
