You have to press and hold either of WASD for just the right amount of time, it's configurable, one of the four will have a different sound effect meaning it's the right first key. Repeat that for the next inputs tho sometimes you can critically fail and you'll have to find out the first key again

This is the result of a Healslut Curse from v0.7.0 Hotfix. Unfortunately I didn't notice it back then, because I don't use Destruction spells. Now it is 30 hours (RL) later in the play through and I'd need to use a Fire spell for a quest. However not only the spells don't work, even Staves and Enchantments are dead.

 

I was trying to fix this for a few days now, nothing works. I tried:

 

- update the mod to v0.7.4

- remove the Magic effect from the save

- remove the Healslut Perk via console

- edit the magic effect/perk values in SSEEdit (like instead of Destruction, affect Critical chance, Target Type change to Target Area instead of Self, etc)

- trigger the Healslut curse again with negative effects (Magnitude 0.00001 instead of 100000)

- remove the Healslut Spell, Magic effect and Perk from the mod completely (with xEdit), then clean the save

- delete the whole mod, clean the save

- edit the mana cost numbers with a cheat mod (this after removing every Healslut related Spell/Effect/Perk from the mod). It only edits the base value, so after lowering the mana cost by 99%, I have 15282780 instead of 15282881

 

 

So even if the mod is not in the Load Order, these numbers are there. It kind of defies all what I know about programs (which is not too much, but I just don't understand how is this possible).

 

@cybercheese I really hope there is a way to cancel this curse in this save game. I'm 215 hours in this game, and I would very much prefer to not redo the last 30 hours.

 

Edit: I think I fixed it.

 

I used SSEEdit to remove the Healslut Magic Effect from the esp.

Then I loaded the game and used

forecav Destructionmod 0

 

This reseted the mana costs. Made a save, reinstalled the unmodified esp and it seems to work fine.

Iirc the tats of this mod didn't work for me either with only the SE version. And this modpage does specifically mention the NG version.
Download SlaveTatsNG-0.8.1.7z , and load it after SlaveTats SE

Do the symbols show a different color when you succeed? I've only seen red and purple.

You have to press hold for like 2 seconds. After that you get a feedback, being: Green for a success, red for a failure where you have to restart and pink for a critical failure where the combination is reshuffled. Pink also has a chance to increase the amount of keys you have to guess correctly to unlock.

If a vibrating device is active the chance to get a critical failure is severely increased.

It is always one of the keys you didn't already press. What does this mean? When you got a positive feedback from pressing d, the remaining ones can not contain d, unless you messed up so much that the max number of tries goes above 4.

A possible combination would be wdas, but not wasw.

So I should have both slave tats SE and NG and just let NG overwrite SE?

 

Edit: My god it works I am so retarded sorry folks I guess my brain fried from going through all these mods and I can't differentiate between an SE and NG anymore lol

Thanks. This should be in the description of the mod, because the mini-game is quite confusing. It's not obvious that you have to hold for 2 seconds, unless I missed something.

Make sure you install the Lewd Marks with No Glow option.

 

 

Otherwise I just have SlaveTats v1.3.9 (for MCM) and SlaveTats NG v0.7.0 and a couple of tats packs.

Can you describe what exactly you did to make it work? I kinda gave up trying to make it work. I have NG overwriting se and i never got the marks to actually appear. 

It's enabled in the mcm and looks like it should work, but even when the text comes that a mark is applied, it just doesn't do it.

My problem was missing slave tats NG.

 

I just have Lewd Marks all-in-one don't get the glow version and the racemenu version is not necessary I am not using it. 

Got Slave tats SE 1.3.9 and have slave tats NG overwrite it.
Additonally have Rape Tattoos Continued 2.0.3, I also have fade tattoos continued 2.1.0 but that shouldn't be necessary for lewd marks specifically.

Once you get ingame don't forget to go into slave tats MCM and click load tattoos. Just to be sure manual save and load game afterwards.

I didn't do anything extra besides that, used every mod as described on their pages and had all requirements installed (besides slave tats NG because I was too retarded to read I guess)

I have the exact same thing. But even after getting the message by Devious Curses that a lewd tat is applied (last I got was via madness plug) nothing appeared on my character. No tattoo, no debuff.

I have absolutely no idea why.

As this mod series is one of my newer additions it is not overwritten by anything.  Everything else in this mod is working flawlessly. Only this one thing does not happen properly.

Make sure that you update SlaveTats NG. There was an issue where it wouldn't automatically read json data.

This problem broke a save of mine too. At least an hour and a half lost to reset back to a save without this bug.

I believe the game is crashing to desktop whenever Living Latex is attempting to equip something. I am able to successfully reproduce the issue on my end by equipping Living Latex, having the dormancy time set to 1 minute, then one minute later, I go into combat, and the game will crash.

 

I have traced this issue specifically to when heavy bondage is enabled for the Living Latex to be able to equip. With this option disabled, the Living Latex will equip a handful of restraints like normal.

Note that there wasn't a log for Devious Curses, so I pulled the one from Devious Devices NG.

I read a few comments about lewdmarks and tattoos not working, not sure if this is related to my issue. I currently cannot turn on or edit any of the lewdmark or tattoo curse settings, they are "greyed out" in my MCM. I have Slavetats NG installed correctly and working, as well as LewdMarks, with No Glow. Fresh game, fresh install etc. Latest version of DCNG.

Before posting my problem I made sure I have the exact same versions that the other guy had. I always install the newer version of the mods with the version number in the name so I can quickly check if they are all on the latest versions.

Might be a silly question but who knows I myself had an idiotic problem.

Did you actually expand the possible tattoo slots maybe the lewd mark doesn't have a free slot open or something and two tattoos are trying to overwrite eachother.

Also last possible solution is to try whether it works on a new save.

I am following up on the other report I have made. The mod would successfully apply a heavy latex restraint when the option to do so was ticked AFTER the initial event to restrain the player, provided she isn't in combat. If she's in combat when the living latex would apply a heavy restraint, the game will crash.

Actually, I haven't tested what happens when you have bound combat disabled. It's possible the game kept crashing because it didn't know what to do about me having a weapon drawn, and it would be unable to forcibly unequip them mid-combat, resulting in a crash. More testing will be needed to confirm.

 

Edit: Same issue. the game will crash when the heavy restraint is to be equipped to your character while in a fighting stance, and same for if you're unarmed. I suspect it's the force equip event that isn't working properly in this case, which is likely beyond the scope of this mod to fix. If you can reproduce the issue on your end, it could be worth a bug report and a warning in the MCM that the setting can crash the game.

Interestingly enough, this is only a problem when the Living latex tries to force equip a heavy restraint while in a combat stance. Standard traps will correctly equip the heavy restraint when it's rolled, which will make the player lose the combat stance as a result. Is it possible that this is the cause of the crashing, because the Living Latex isn't telling the player to stop fighting before forcing a heavy restraint on her?

I have enabled sex and random sex, but I still can't get the summoner's collar. I set it to 500 and everything else to 0 but I'm only getting the living latex and madness plug.

This issue is fairly common, so I'll explain exactly what the mod does in case that helps troubleshooting for anyone.

 

First it checks to see if it can grab the SlaveTatsNG interface. If this fails then there will be no tattoo functionality at all.

This has been tested to work on SlaveTatsNG version 0.8.1

 

This also requires JContainers to be installed, even though it is not marked as a requirement on the SlaveTatsNG LL page.

 

Then it checks to see if the Lewd Marks exist within the SlaveTatsNG interface. If you are able to put the lewd mark tattoo on your character by any other means, either using the old SlaveTatsSE MCM page (Follow the instructions on the SlaveTatsNG LL page to do this) or by using the new SlaveTatsNG GUI thing, they will be enabled in the DC MCM.

 

For the Tattoo Curse to work, you also need Rape Tattoos Continued (And all of its requirements) to be installed.

 

If this doesn't clear up your issue, please send over you DeviousCurses.log file which is located at Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE\DeviousCurses.log

 

I hoe this is able to fix your issue, and help for anyone else that is having similar issues.
