I started paying attention  to where these chastity keys were coming from- almost all are from dead mobs. It's possible they are being generated by some other mod... I'll do some testing.

Additional issue: The camera stucks in 1st person in contraption events too, except with contraptions I can't use the 1st/3rd person switch hotkey (F) to see my character. Also, I can't even call it 1st person, the camera is more like stuck inside the character. This brings multiple issues:

 

- Visually bad that I don't see my character in the contraption.

- Visually bad that I am inside the character.

- It is very hard to see the Struggle visual effects for the struggle minigame

- If I switch to free camera (Num 3), I can navigate the camera to see my character properly, but then the struggle minigame is bad again, as I move the camera with the same buttons as the minigame uses. So whenever I want to play the struggle minigame, I also move the camera.

 

I assume that the issue has something to do with the camera mods I'm using (Improved Camera and Customizable Camera).

 

Anyone else experiencing similar problems? Any workaround/fix ideas maybe?

Unfortunately that's been the normal behaviour for any contraption since... forever.

 

Best workaround for me is always to disable contraptions.

I've found for myself, that Binding makes good use of the furniture from Display Model v3, so these are the only ones I use.

@CaptainJ03 I am finalizing my DD mod list and loaded Curses.  I see you mentioned Display Model and Binding.  Do I need those to prevent problems or just use Curses?  Sorry for the question but I don't understand the camera bug conversation you responded to.  DE Chests seemed to not have any problems.  Just not much activity which is why I am moving to Curses.  TY

No, you don't need anything else, this mod is great in itself.

The discussion was about the 'contraptions' - bondage furniture like pole or pillory that keep you in one place. Problem with these is, that the camera behaves weirdly, which is why I've disabled the contraptions in this mod's MCM.

 

Binding has a completely different scope. You can ask any follower to be your Dom and they'll give you rules you have to follow. Some lightweight DFC or SubLola if you want.

Yeah I have it installed and it seems to be working fine. 

I know I had this same problem last time I reinstalled and then it just seemed to randomly start working after playing for a bit so maybe i will see if that happens again.

Just seeing if others have tried to modify the exclusions in the json.  I tried and even validated the json.  This was at level 5.  DC stopped applying devices.  Nothing through level 11 and it was triggering multiple times in each dungeon.  All the other features were working.  I had to delete this mod, save, resaver, reload the mod, save and the devices started triggering again.  I'm just trying to remove white and red devices and followed the template from the main page.

works like a charm, that's one of the best features of this mod, and a pity that Binding doesn't have anything like this.

Here's mine, maybe that helps tracking down any error:

That was an error on my part, A while ago I changed it to be sex from all sources but forgot to change the description.

Double check the Prefer Relevant Keys setting in the MCM. this may be causing the problem.

I've added a toggle to disable the use of forced 3rd person in Devious curses, but unfortunately the issue with contraptions is a part of DDNG.

If you delete the exclusions file it will automatically be reset so you don't have to reinstall anything. If you have any questions about how to use the exclusions feel free to PM me on LL or send a message on the thread on the DDNG discord.

I can't seem to get the Diplomatic Immunity quest interaction to work. The page suggests it should trigger on the carriage, but nothing happens, with me arriving at the Embassy and being able to head inside with no problems.

Thank you, although I have the opposite problem. The event does not force 3rd person when it should. 

 

I play mostly in 1st person. When a contraption event happens, the view should switch to 3rd person, or at least let me switch to 3rd person. If the game stays in 1st person the struggle minigame is very problematic.

That's a problem with DDNG. I'm assuming that their implementation of switching cameras doesn't work with whatever camera mods you are using. That might be worth posting a bug on the DDNG discord.

There is a bug, I'm getting a hotfix made soon.

Just installed 0.6.2-Hotfix and I'm seeing a new "Madness Plug" listed in the MCM, but I don't see any actual plug in the mod yet. I assume the "Madness Plug" is still in development? It's description sounds really awesome and I'm looking forward to it, by the way!

This was something I was working on, but the implementation is more complicated than I thought. It will most likely be implemented by 0.7

Very exciting, can't wait! I haven't done any modding since LE, but if you need extra hands I'll be happy to pitch in where I can!

The event should trigger immediately after you get on the cart but before the loading screen.

There it is. BTW, there are Chinese in it because I'm using Chinese. I have enable "only use unforgiving devices", I don't know if it will affect it or not.
