Just run a save cleaner afterward (like ReSaver).

Assuming you fully uninstalled SD+, and ran a save cleaner, you might be able to make an upgrade.

 

More likely, the save cleaning process will wreck your game, as suggested above.

 

In the case where you can identify a single mod you want to clean scripts from, sometimes they can help. They can help with that one thing, removing scripts.

When Claralux went bad on me, I was able to remove the running Claralux scripts that were constantly spewing into my log - that game has had hundreds of hours of play on it since, and it's still fine- but that was a rare situation where a save cleaner can work, with an easily identified job to do, and an easy way to identify the problem data.

 

Removing running scripts won't be an issue with SD+ in the first place, and more importantly, there is a lot of stuff that goes in saves that is not a running script.

 

It's that stuff that will screw up your re-installation. Removing those changes without hosing other mods, or the general state of your game is best described as "impossible"; it can't trivially be automated.

 

You would have more luck doing a partial manual upgrade - comparing the quest properties in TES5Edit, and manually overwriting scripts that don't require any property changes. Global scripts can usually be upgraded safely just be overwriting the script. Oh, you might want to diff the source for the scripts to see that what you're doing makes sense and potentially improves something you need fixed...

 

Otherwise, why are you upgrading at all?

 

If these things sound too hard, or too much bother, then either make a new game, or don't upgrade. There are at least three paths that can work here, but save cleaners... They usually work best when they do nothing :)

Is there a problem porting this over to SSE? Are some dependencies missing, scripting issues, or does the author just not allow it/have an interest in SE?

The author has said earlier in the thread that due to time constraints he wishes to finish the mod on Oldrim before even considering moving it over to SE.

Yeah. It’s mostly a question of time availability.

 

At this point, if I went for SSE it would mean:

 

- rebuild as much as I can of my current load order in SSE (if any of my must have mods is not available yet, I would stop right there)

- then I went ils have to convert my mods and test, test, test to make sure they still work.

 

That would take a lot of time away from fixing and completing my mods.

 

And once I get set up with SSE, there would be no turning back.

 

I just don’t have the resources to develop on both versions in parallel, so that would mean all versions after that would be for SSE only.

 

After 7 years, I am still getting complaints from people who don’t have the DLCs when I added that constraint in Parasites.

 

I can imagine the screams of murder if I stop developing for oldrim and move to SSE only :)

I remember from an earlier version when you where enslaved by a bandit, there would sometimes be interactions with the other bandits in that camp other than the owner… a message would appear saying something like "you are pushed to the ground" with options to either submit or resist…

 

That never happen anymore… is that feature gone ? 

 

I always thought the setting in Sexlab dialogues for "comments" and "actions" chance was for this and SD+ utilized that somehow… but even at 100% comments and actions never happen with other bandits...  only interaction I get with them is if they line up after a dance…

 

infact, being enslaved in a banditcamp now is rather dull, since nothing at all ever happens unless you keep bugging your owner all the time...

I'm new to all this. This mod sounds incredible, but how does it work in the game?

 

You can get enslaved to anyone? How does it happen?

 

If you are enslaved, what do you do as a slave, or to escape?

 

Is it possible to control the difficulty of escapes, or pleasing the master?

 

Is it a quest? How is Sanguine in it?

 

Sorry. I know I should just try it out, but it takes me ages to make a new mod work. It's all quite puzzling; at each step I have to learn how to do so many things.

I'm not sure I can put it in my game without removing everything that works and putting it all back again. Which I will do wrong, and then have to do it all again.

The pound key "#" or if you want the internet slang for the symbol name is hash-tag key. will bring up a menu where you can surrender to a npc.

If you have Death alternative you can be enslaved via that or if you use Sex Lab Defeat same again. They all link in with each other which is nice.

 

If you are enslaved then you have daily tasks to complete. To escape you have to either pickpocket the master for the keys or kill them.

 

Yes there is a quest involving Sanguine at some point you will find it as you play the game. No spoilers here.

 

If you wish for a kinky adventure you could also install Sex Labs Hormones from the same mod author DeepBlueFrog who wrote this mod along with many more. They all link in and work together which I really like.

I asked on the SD Cages forum what version of SD+ worked with cages, but drew a blank.

I do not think it it the latest. At least, as I understand it, it doesn't work with the latest because the cage code was bugging out, and was explicitly disabled.

 

Apparently, there was an older version of SD+ where maybe it did work ok.

Does anyone know what version that might be?

 

 

Those cages are just so sexy looking. It's a real shame they can't work right now. I'd be prepared to take my chances with an old SD+ version if I could get them working.

I have been working on getting cages working again. Try the latest beta version linked above. It is not perfect but it works better than previous versions.

I'm giving this mod a try and am just getting started with it.  One question I have that I can't find answered in the PDF or FAQ: if my PC is defeated in combat and enslaved, what happens to her follower?  Thanks.

Also, that screenshot of Sanguine Statue looks great. You could use something like that as your 'mod' branding instead of the rose design.

Sorry for another newb question.  I returned from Sanguine's domain to the College of Winterhold, where sleeping had transported me.  Two or three apparently essential trolls followed me, causing many of the college wizards to fight a futile battle against them, since they aren't killable.  Things got a bit confused after that, since a dragon also attacked.  After killing the dragon I lost track of the trolls for a while, but while fleeing the college one of the trolls followied, causing battles with Faralda and the town guards.  Is this normal?

 

Edit: The one troll that escaped the college with me appears to be acting as a follower, since although I left it behind while fleeing Winterhold, when I entered the Whistling Mine it appeared and started fighting the miners.

That has nothing to do with SD+. You might want to look at what else you have in your load order that might have caused it.

Quick question- I use EFF and no DAYMOYL. I set my follower Uthgerd to Essential (I hate my followers getting killed. Denies me bondage opportunities) When I surrendered to the Hired Thugs, two things tended to happen:

 

1. If Uthgerd was in bleedout, she wouldn't be counted as enslaved, and would instead continue to follow me as normal.

 

2. If Uthgerd was registered as a slave, she would immediately start running off god knows where- and I have not installed Caged Followers yet.

Is the running away part normal? Or is there something I've messed with?

On a lesser note- the amount of devices being applied is extremely low- is there something I'm missing or is that on purpose?

Cheers! But I was enslaved by the Hired Thugs who were dragging Uthgerd and I to Mistwatch already- so does that just mean that she's heading there on her own rather than all of us being dragged there as well? I remember that specific scenario working along those lines before, was that changed?

What sort of things are the daily tasks?

Is it sexy, humiliating things, like having to collect a cum sample from all the master's companions?

Or is it more like, fetch me ten ales?

 

There seem to be a dizzying collection of mods that add or take away from slavery in Skryim.

 

What is it in particular about SexLab Hormones that makes it especially good in combination with this mod?

Is it the Bimbo Curse part? That sounds exciting, but there seems some hesitancy to declare it finished in the write-up. Will it work alright for a complete beginner?

I found a mod called Apropos Classic, which sounds interesting, and might be helpful too. Do people use that much?

I have had some problems with the game loading forever when I go to a new place, and I fear it is something I have done,

Daily tasks include finding food, drink, gold, sex, entertainment, from what I have seen so far. Or just to leave the master alone for a day, in some cases this can get boring as you can't wait out the time due to the leash mechanism in the mod. Meaning if you wait 24 hours you could end up killing yourself due to the damage you take when the master roams around the dungeon or location. So you have to physically wait one day in game time till you can speak to them again, or fail the task and pester them. I usually go for waiting for them to get to a quite spot and then murder them using the Defeat mechanism (which is another mod). 

 

Just remember Sanguine asks for a drink before he will let you go. I found that if you join his faction all enemies in the game become friendly even the dragons. So make sure you do not spend more than 3 days enslaved to him.

 

I play with PSQ mod and Hormones hooks into it in a really nice way as it can slowly corrupt a player character into becoming a succubus for Sanguine, at the end of which you awaken with your full succubus powers as a result. It can also do a complete sex change as well so if you are playing as a male character just how long can you go before Sanguine comes to claim you and corrupts you?

 

Personally I don't bother with the Bimbo curse so I turn it off, although I know many seem to like it. The mod is still being worked on as far as I know so its not yet finished.

 

Not heard of Apropos Classic. So can't comment.

 

I did use to run with the Parasite mod from DeepBlueFrog but found it kind of annoyed me, I am very picky when it comes to mods forcing certain things upon my character and this one just went too far one day. So I removed it.

 

Installing the mods is fairly easy now with the use of mod managers.

Thanks, If the trolls are not a feature of the dreamworld I might be having a bad interaction with the Sexlab Pheromones mod.
