I am getting a lot of SD messages in my Papyrus log - see extract of SD messages below - and after this any combat using Defeat will crash to CTD as will any attempt to save the game at that point I have SD running I also have the Updated Defeat in use, being used without Death Alternative - in my set up, SD should only be an outcome from Simple Slavery But I'm therefore not quite sure why I'm getting SD checks appearing at this point Is it that they are always running but only appear in Papyrus log if they generate 'failure/false' type outcomes? (This is probably the main part of the query ?) I can understand why they probably would fail as that mod apparently introduces a strange, non run of the mill, bandit faction - lot of discussion about that in the SBC thread, and the particular location where it all goes squiff, ie Broken Oar Grotto, where boith SBC and Yuriana have rescue type quests But at this point, no matter what else I do, any attempt to save the game, or to engage in any combat with the mods NPCs using Defeat, I get an almost instant CTD Others have managed to get to the end of the Yuriana and SBC quests located there eventually. Does the log give you any thoughts as to why that might happen and if it really could be SD related? Guest Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Hello, Installed 3.6.2 beta4 and when I go to Sanguine's grove for the first time Sanguine turns hostile the moment you see him. He just stands there without attacking but I can't start a dialogue. This didn't happen with 3.6.1, however I had a bunch of other issues with 3.6.1(like failing to equip armbinders, slavery ending on midnight of first day with most NPCs etc.) so I installed the beta. None of the other mods have changed

None of the other mods have changed DeepBlueFrog gave me a solution to this and I changed the settings in TESEdit for Sanguine male and female. Here is a screen shot of the fix I put in to get Sanguine to work in beta 4.

I said 'hopefully' since these are issues I do not have on my test games, and I could not test properly.

The Sanguine Shrine has an alter and a few beds where you are supposed to sleep in order to get to Sanguine's realm. if you see a portal, it's another location (Morvunskar by any chance?).

A Night to Remember is the Daedric Quest for Sanguine as part of Vanilla Skyrim. Doing it is not needed to play this mod.

Of course you can do, or not do, whatever you like. I use SD+ as a way to get my PC enslaved. I can do it directly through this mod or through a number of others that then send me to SD+. DeepBlueFrog is still working out the kinks of Dreamworld and you can try the beta5 version if you like (the link is on his signature on any of his posts). I'm sorry if my reply came across as abrupt or rude. I tend to be terse.

All the interactions about the quest are done through the journal and dialogues with Sanguine, the Alicias and Crassius Curio. I strongly encourage you to use the latest beta version of you want to give this mod another try, Version 2+ had way too many other issues that I have since addressed (most of all, the poor AI leash that got you stuck against a rock 90% of the time). Version 3+ still has issues of course. I would welcome bug fixes if you are bored with the game and want to try something more constructive. 1

The Quest 'The Truth' was for some reason active at the time. Read up on the thread and saw others saying 'you need to be enslaved before Dreamworld visit first, etc - which hadn't happened - and you saying that you first needed to sleep in front of Sanguine's statue - a place I had already visited on the main Meadery poisoning quest, but not slept at the shrine - so went back to an earlier save and carried on from their as it seemed to have borked I have now gone back to the Meadery, slept at the Sanguine Shrine, been shuftied off to Dreamworld, and once again can't seem to get out I got the text (paraphrased heavily) re would you like some mead?, offered it and gave it to him, got the 'i want to get out ?' dialogue, but never get released. Hung around for there for about an hour realtime. I've seen some txt about having fun, some telling me Sanguine's wisdom about what the Dragonborn has done, something about been had by all 4 (?), - with the poor Dragonborn having by this time been shafted silly, and on one occasion asked to 'Submit or Resist once, Resist chosen - but every time I select the 'I wanna go home' txt, I get the 'you've only just arrived, stay and have some fun' stuff . I haven't yet tried to flush it all away by pulling the chain ? I saw you ask others, also querying this, about the stage values so here are those in my game for stage completion for _sd_dream (in console also called 'The Truth') They were as follows, Left to right: Stage No; Value in Dreamworld when logged off; Value in save before slept at shrine 0 1 1 10 1 0 15 0 0 20 0 0 100 0 0 200 1 0 202 1 0 210 0 0 220 0 0 222 0 0 224 1 1 226 1 1 230 0 0 232 1 0 234 1 0 236 0 0 all rest 0 0 Does any of that help at all? (I'll keep these saves, but meantime continue my main game from before I went into the Meadery) FWIW, I also asked a question about SD papyrus log messages upstream, (here, or in beta thread) but haven't seen any reply to that. Any chance on a help with that too, please, even if it's only just 'I haven't really got a clue' or tl;didn't read ? . No-one is expecting you to know everything all of the time TIA if you can give me any help with this I had that issue with with only getting 'you've only just arrived, stay and have some fun' but then i notice another option that said 'Why am I here again' after that sanguine let me go as normal haven't got to the meadary yet though.
Fuzzy_Fox Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Playing beta 5 at the moment and it is looking rather stable. I can still trigger certain parts of the Truth quest before sleeping in front of Sanguine's shrine though. Is this a feature or a bug?

As long as you can’t go to Moonshadow prematurely, it should be fine.

That’s right. I am traveling this week but I will check that issue soon. Scrnes not working for normal cages and cells is normal. I have no way of detecting if the player is inside or outside for generic cells. For larger cages with door, what do you mean by ‘days not ipdating’? Are you saying there is no visible change after midnight? What about around 1am?

There is no notification window that should pop up after each day so i guess enslavment stuck on first day for ever. Same when i try "Why me?" dialogue - 0 days

First time I was leaving Dragonsreach castle, and the quest marker appeared in a prison cell in the dungeons. The second time I was entering the Bannered Mare, and the quest mark pointed to where the owner was last headed, the wood chopping block behind Belethor's shop.

Scenes with the smaller cages placed in the vanilla game (i.e. not by the SD cages Mod) wont ever work? I ask because they certainly used to in the original SD mod and in SD+2044 if memory serves. Indeed i remember one of my favorite parts of the original SD mod was when the master/mistress locked you in a cage all night then got you out and beat the crap out of you in the morning. I miss that /sniff ? 1
