Sanguine Debauchery (SD+) (January 2025)

Hi there folks. This is not related at all to the current coversations, but I have an issue that makes this mod (which is great) unusable. I can get enslaved just fine, and progress through the quests, but the owner is never transferred my gear/items/gold, and as such, once enslaved, the items are lost to the void. Anyone have an idea why?

Skyrimll, thanks for your mod, and your blog is very helpful as well.

 

By the way, don't know there's anyone mentioned this, the left hand ring ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21720/? ) has the slot conflict with SD+. However, on its mod page, there's a guide for change body slot ( http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/576983-tutorial-assign-meshes-to-new-body-parts/ ) .

Hope it will help somebody here.

I don't really understand all the apparent dislike for DA. It's a very effective, and very customizable framework for providing alternatives to just having to reload a save once you've been defeated. I haven't had any troubles getting it and SD+, or it and Defeat, to play nicely together.

 

I'm sure there are still bugs to be worked out and things to be learned between them and DA and how they interact, considering its their first times venturing into the DA framework, but I think things look very promising with its incorporation.

This is a direct quote from the page, under Compatibility:

 

By design, this mod should be compatible with almost anything that don't try to do the same thing. Since it has been asked a million times, Death Alternative IS COMPATIBLE with Requiem, SkyRe, CWO, DCO and many many many many others. I've been informed that for Requiem, it is best to go to the MCM menu, in the combat tab, and change the death reload delay to 10 seconds, or to the maximum (whatever that means).

The only reported instances of incompatibility are:

  • Save Overhaul (no idea why, I don't use it)
  • Alternate Actors (presumably)
  • Magic Duel (some versions apparently trigger bleedout when it shouldn't, could likely be made compatible)
  • Swift potion (some versions were reported to cause issues. I don't know what the deal is here, this mod hasn't been updated in a long time so it's likely obsolete.)

 

Quite clear general notice from the same page:

 

Any mod that change or add something as the moment hp reach zero will trigger concurrently and hence, interesting results and/or bad results are possible and to be expected.

 

In short, DA - like any other mod - should be compatible with everything that does not try to do what it does, or is not included in the list of known incompatible mods.

 

Known incompatible mods are listed and general note about compatibility conserning mods outside Nexus has been given. I think ithat BralorMarr tells us quite clearly which mods are not compatible with Death Alternative. I don't see how anyone could place more effort to it.

is compatible with zaz and SD+?

Coz SoS is not working fully correctly with xp32's skeleton I guess.

If somebody knows how to make xp skeleton work with sos normally OR how to avoid xp32 and install something else (with male skeleton enhance or something) please tell I apreciate any help. So Much Beauty in the SKYRIM thanks TO SD+ mod!

I said I do not have any problems with those mods. It means that I do not have any problems with DA and Xvision Children - Redone. I have no idea what sort of problem you would even have with meshes and textures related to child race.

 

I even tried to google the problem to understand what you are talking about. If you have a link about the matter, then you are free to PM it to me, so I can write it down for future use.

Install xp32 first, then overwrite it by sos.

So apparently has it's own skeleton, or so I've been told. What I did to stabilize my game is install Sos first, then install Xp32 and overwrite the SoS content.

Haha. I like how those two posts completely contradicted each other. SOS needs to edit part of the skeleton in order to work, so it is one of the very few mods that should be allowed to override the skeleton. That being said, SOS has always been buggy for me; I deleted it and went back to Viagra Skyrim.

It is normal.

 

After enslavement, your stuff is sent to a storage locker in Sanguine's Dreamworld. 

You will have to go there to retrieve your inventory.

Regarding DA's compatibility, the reality of ANY mod with Skyrim is that it is simply not possible to predict how compatible a mod will be with the myriad of combinations of mods out there. Period.

 

Since I started with Skyrim modding last year, it has been a constant struggle against phantom issues - as in, people reporting something is wrong and the same thing is working just fine on my end. 

 

In many ways, modding Skyrim can be compared to having to develop code blindfolded and with a hand attached to your back.

 

So keep that in mind and give any modder some slack :)

I agree.  Interetingly though, when i post an issue, a lot of times, people can tell me what the problem is before i post a load order. It's very rare that i assume the problem to be with the mod itself, but then, with some 300 esp mods (merged patch ftw) installed plus many more texture and/or mesh replacers, conflicts are as much a part of my skyrim as the endless "arrow to the knee" commentary.

I found my best way to have a good mix.

Considering that SexLab uses the 4udK male nudemesh as optional nude,

I installed the same mesh, but with limited underwear dressed, for all the males.

This makes them, if died and naked, still wearing a sort of little showel and, ticking the option "males use nudesuit",

they are in the correct "elevated" look for sex actions.

Sorry if asked and answered already, but I couldn't find an answer:

 

I have skyrim addons installed (dragonborn, dawnguard, frostfall) as well as their respective "sdpatch" files, but the SD patched won't show as active in the MCM menu after I've activated/installed SD+ in MCM. 

 

I've used LOOT and checked the load order to make sure the addon files load after the main file.  I'd used SD+ successfully in the past.  Also, I've started a new game to no avail.  Any advice?

Mmmmh regarding Death Alternative... Sorry about the self promotion, but you my be interest in this.
Is a test preview of the next upcoming of DA most ambitious scenario yet to date.... FALMER ENSLAVEMENT.

 

Of course it has a different (non sexual) dynamic compared to SD+ Falmer enslavement. But for what I noticed until now (still testing) the two could mix. If you get the DA enslavement scenario, try to break free and get defeated by the falmer, then a SD+ sceario could be triggered next. And the reverse is also true.

Hi, I'm having a problem where I am not getting enslaved after being raped by NPCs from Defeat. After all NPCs are done raping my character, I go back into the bleedout mode and the struggle bar shows up again. Nothing else happens to my character. No one else rapes me, they don't attack me, and I'm not enslaved. The only thing I can do is fill the struggle bar and run away. I don't know what to do. T_T.

First make sure you can be ensalved at all: turn off the Defeat scenario in DA and see if the enslavement scenario from SD is working.

 

Then change the priority between SD and Defeat in DA's menu.

Hi, I'm having a problem where I am not getting enslaved after being raped by NPCs from Defeat. After all NPCs are done raping my character, I go back into the bleedout mode and the struggle bar shows up again. Nothing else happens to my character. No one else rapes me, they don't attack me, and I'm not enslaved. The only thing I can do is fill the struggle bar and run away. I don't know what to do. T_T.

First make sure you can be ensalved at all: turn off the Defeat scenario in DA and see if the enslavement scenario from SD is working.

 

Then change the priority between SD and Defeat in DA's menu.

I'm actually starting to have some other issues with Defeat now. The problems I'm having with this mod are almost surely all connected to Defeat at this point. I'll report back if I continue to have problems after I fix all of this.

Mmmmh regarding Death Alternative... Sorry about the self promotion, but you my be interest in this.

Is a test preview of the next upcoming of DA most ambitious scenario yet to date.... FALMER ENSLAVEMENT.

 

Of course it has a different (non sexual) dynamic compared to SD+ Falmer enslavement. But for what I noticed until now (still testing) the two could mix. If you get the DA enslavement scenario, try to break free and get defeated by the falmer, then a SD+ sceario could be triggered next. And the reverse is also true. 

 

 

Very nice... it will be good to have more options to interact with.

Regarding DA's compatibility, the reality of ANY mod with Skyrim is that it is simply not possible to predict how compatible a mod will be with the myriad of combinations of mods out there. Period.

 

Since I started with Skyrim modding last year, it has been a constant struggle against phantom issues - as in, people reporting something is wrong and the same thing is working just fine on my end. 

 

In many ways, modding Skyrim can be compared to having to develop code blindfolded and with a hand attached to your back.

 

So keep that in mind and give any modder some slack :)

 

I can find and fix form issues (hole in crotch? - add SOS_revealing to the armors keyword, etc) but where I have problems is when we have conflicting scripting intercepts. EVERYONE wants to repurpose the Thugs ;)
