I have not beeing able to see the SD enslavement or the SD Spriggan on the Blackout Section of DA.

 

I have all installed and rest of quests are showing for me (From Default Quest to Forsworn Quest) they even work.

I have read there's another guy with same issue but yet not solved, any ideas?

Are you upgrading or is it a new game?

 

If you can, try this.

 

- go back to a save game before you installed DA and SD

- enable DA first and load that save game

- save / exit

- enable SD and load the game you just saved

 

It helps sometimes to give a chance to each mod to load and initialize separately.

Are you upgrading or is it a new game?

 

If you can, try this.

 

- go back to a save game before you installed DA and SD

- enable DA first and load that save game

- save / exit

- enable SD and load the game you just saved

 

It helps sometimes to give a chance to each mod to load and initialize separately.

 

 

I am trying a completely new game:

I started using Alternate Start mod so I appeared in the middle of a forest, after starting it says "Completed: Unbound" as I finished that quest, then a message appears at the top left of the screen "Devious Devices version 2.800000 installed".

Then Autosaves, I check DA on the blackout section searching for "SD Enslavement" and such, no result.

I install SD from MC, exit all menus, wait a bit, I get another report on top left, SD has installed succesfully, then I check DA again with no results.

After a while I "install" BEGIN option from SD in MC. SD has started and I get a "Sanguine is watching" report on the middle of the screen.

 

At this point if I check SD Status in MC I have checked the options "Sanguine's Debauchery" "Entering Sanguine's Realm" and "In service of Sanguine" options "Enslaved" and the other one related to sprigan are not checked, also I cannot see the SD enslavement or the SD Spriggan in DA as I said before.

What I suggested still stands.

It looks like something got messed up between MCM, DA and SD.

 

The quests from SD should appear in DA's menu as soon as SD is enabled, regardless of using INSTALL or BEGIN.

 

Try a game with only DA active. Then enable SD and see if the quests register properly in DA.

Hello. I haven't played this mod for a while and older version worked fine, but now I updated to this new version and it doesn't work anymore. So basically what is broken for me is the death alternative (when mod didn't use death alternative, SD worked for me). When I go into bleedout state nothin happens and I get whacked and can't go into blackout. Or sometimes I get asked if I want to use dragon soul, or some black gem thing. And if I surrender, instead of options Submit to your Aggressor - Submit to Sanguine I have last breath and pray to the gods?

 

SD+ is activated and running but it doesn't work :( . Tried reinstalling death alternative too but doesn't work.

 

Death alternative is on the newest version.

If you can see the SD scenarios in DA's menu, try disabling everything except SD events and see if you can trigger them that way.

 

Can you share your load order just in case?

why say that devious devices isn't required where you list the customization of SD+ through addons but under requirements it clearly says DD IS required along with all required mods for that? Is there an alternate version of SD+ that i'm not aware of that doesn't require Devious Devices?

That's because Devious Device was not required until the last version of SD and I forgot to update that line under Customization.

 

I will update it at the next release to avoid updating the mod without adding anything to the mod itself.

Try setting the BleedOut animation thing in Death Alternative to "BleedOut" instead of "BleedOut & Ragdoll". Your PC may just be stuck ragdoll'd 'cause bugs.

So I saw you had updated the mod quite a bit and decided to try it again, but I still have a very similar problem:

 

The game claims I end my enslavement by killing my master by telling me on-screen that Enslaved! has been completed, but I don't get my gear back (Is this intended? It might be), my gear is nowhere to be found, and the quest is still listed as not completed in the quest log.

 

Furthermore, the MCM menu updates to reflect that I am no longer enslaved, and thus Safe Word is not available.

Your gear is in a storage locker in Sanguine's Dreamworld.

 

Many things can end enslavement, including anything that looks like you are picking up a weapon. 

If you have a mod like SPERG that gives you invisible hand combat weapons, SD detects that as a breach of enslavement.

Anyway we all agree the master now is a bit too passive, never making a request on his/her own. 

 

 

That's it!  I was trying to figure out what seems to be lacking.  I've just started using SD+ and at first thought it was really well done... and it is to a point.  The master/slave relationship is weak compared to how well everything else works.  Too much is triggered by the PC.

 

There is a subset quest called Sex and Punishment.  I had this trigger once and it was far more aggressive.  The Owner, admittedly too frequently, assaulted the PC.  This didn't last very long and it quickly reverted to the typical enslavement.  Really it was so brief that I was confused at first what was happening.

 

I also had some rarer enslavments that had taken me to another place.  Actually, this was also only once.  After getting enslaved by the Forsworn I woke up in a cage in a different location.  This was really cool an unexpected.  I don't know how many events are like this but it was much more interesting.

 

Like you shinji, I added a few mods that I thought might add to the SD+ experience.

 

I also run Working Girl, it's great for Prison Overhaul too, to make some extra cash while captured.

 

For grins I added Addictive Skooma mod to my game hoping that when the PC was forced to drink Skooma that she may get addicted.  Unfortunately it is such a rare occurence that it hasn't happened yet.  Couldn't find one for alchohol that seemed it would be compatible.

 

I have to admit that the Dreamworld is neat at first but becomes dreary after a few events.  I think too, it's because currently it is nothing more than a portal.  Hopefully Sanquine will be less likely to release you in the future without entertaining him before leaving.  It doesn't always need to be sex either, he is all about debauchery, maybe it's a drinking contest, gluttony or gambling for the PC's gold.  Maybe have him return you to some more compromising places, either with nothing on or maybe only a hat and wooden sword, something that would be entertaining and not dangerous, like a Jarls court.

 

Here is what I really like about the mod.

 

The overall slavery integration.

 

I really like the followers getting enslaved, it sets up a neat adventure after the fact.  Unfortunately I use AFT and it messes with the mod.  Either the follower is tied up along with you or they will simply show up later if you are in the same area due to AFT's follower AI.

 

But my favorite overall part of the mod are the thugs that chase you down after you have ticked somebody off.  It is the only method where you become the hunted and either fight or flight are the only options.  I've only been taken back to Mistwatch but I believe the there is a chance that the thugs will take you to the person you wronged to be there slave.  This is just the best part, I've gone out of my way to steal and pickpocket just to trigger this event.  Along these lines, I would find it very entertaining if the rest of the NPC's in the world sold you off to Mistwatch (or to serve another master) after they've had some fun with you.  Especially when you are captured outdoors.

 

I have yet to trigger the Spriggan quest so I have no idea how that plays.

 

 

I agree about the slavery part as well. The main parts that I don't like about it is that I get some random bugs where the game doesn't think I'm next to the owner but I am. That basically reduces my options of getting freed to pickpocket the key or find a weapon ... every single time.

 

More quests would help immersion quite a bit. For example after the PC is enslaved after a couple of days the player can be sold off (slaves take maintenance after all) to farm to do work, to be trained, etc (the 'cow' milking farm comes to mind...) and those can segue into other quests that can be finished by not just killing the owner.

 

And for the followers, if you're sold off, your followers should be as well. You can mount a rescue for them after you get a quest (after getting a note from the courier or something).

Your gear is in a trunk in Sanguine's realm.

Maybe I missed something, but in case I didn't I think the quest description should reflect where your gear can be retrieved.

 

So it does appear enslavement actually ends; possibly the quest never ends because I never go to Sanguine to pick up my stuff. I'll try that in a minute and report back to see if the quest fully completes.

 

I do not use SPERG, but I do use Requiem.

I did what you suggested and it did not work, so I assumed there's some kind of problem with the mods, Seems like I downloaded more SD options than I needed and, for some reason, they did not let the mod work fine.

 

So far now I have those options I was unable to see visible, and I am trying the mod right now.

 

If someone else has this kind of problem I would hardly suggest doing what you said and disable all relative mods and try them one by one.

As you know, I love the mod and would be hard pressed to play skyrim without it.  But, something has to be done about dreamworld.  My low lvl PC was hiding out in Falcreath wilderness and found a custom follower in the hunters retreat.  Him being male and her being female, she naturally needed his "strong hand".  After a time she decided to end their relationship, as most women do.  

Long story short, if it's not to late, she slept, woke up in dreamworld, was sent back to her make-shift camp ... the first time.  The second time she was sent to Riften.  Luckily enough days had past (crime decay mod) that the bounty on her was "wait, I know you" instead of "you have committed crimes against...".  

She started back on the long trek to her camp in the wilderness.  Just outside of Riften she happened upon another custom follower, lucky for her since she has no combat nor magic skills, otherwise she could never survive the trip back (many mods adding realistic problems and animals). After several days they made it to Whiterun, 2 or 3 days away from home.  

Damn, was going to make this short wasn't I?  Any way, she made camp for the night, just outside Whiterun walls and wound up in dreamworld, and also wound up in Riften again. Didn't matter if she pulled the chain or let Sanguine "let me go", she always went to Riften.   Going to say "RINSE AND REPEAT". 

So, the problem is:  If I'm going to play, I can only play in Riften since Sanguine sends my PC there before she can travel very far.

Need an option to either limit, stop, or choose destination with chain.

Quick question, does the Flowering Spriggan Quest work?  I'm unable to get it to trigger.  I have a save right before a Flowering Spriggan attacks and I don't know how many times I've reloaded, it has been plenty, but it never triggers.

Thanks.  Like I mentioned, my PC has enough problems traveling across skyrim without going to Riften or a random place.  So yes, I don't think of it as a cheat but a reasonable solution (for my play-style anyway).

 

Even though I've said it before, I'll say it again, GREAT MOD!!!  Keep going and never stop.  You've taken SD to a high.

I'm pretty sure by now you're still bug fixing and aren't really thinking of adding new content, but I thought I'd give a few suggestions anyways. Now, I apologize in advance if these were already said before, turns out 204 pages is a bit of a long read :D

 

 

SLAVERY

-Having different kinds of masters that want a slave for different reasons. As an example, I know some masters really want their slaves to bring them more money and the like, but it would make sense that some others want the PC for their body more than anything else. Others might just want someone to keep the floors clean, or some really sadistic masters might just want someone to beat up after a frustrating day.

 

-Since this now requires devious devices, how about adding new types of punishment? I think some of the systems in DD are really interresting, like the leash plug for example.

 

-Since the cage idea doesn't seem to work so well, how about these two options: if the PC has the master's favor, they can roam around, no change from what's happenning now. If they don't, they get left in a bondage pose for the night. 

 

-How about some way to monitor the character's mental state? That way, torture would actually be a bad thing to go through, and might really end up breaking the PC. I'm asking for this one because I think it doesn't really make sense that a character who has gone through 200 rounds of punishment still decides to mock her master.

 

-Maybe add some humiliating uniform to some slaves. I'm thinking something like the maid outfit from PlayerSlave Encounters in Oblivion. 

 

-We definitely need something more happenning as time advances. There is incentive to remain a slave for a day or two, but long-term slavery definitely needs something more. Maybe add an option to fall in love with your master? 

 

 

CAPTURE

Now that DA is a requirement, I think the amount of triggers for capture just exploded

 

-Fake health potions. If you drink these in combat, it triggers blackout immediately, making you vulnerable to your enemy.

 

-Poison darts in dungeon traps, that would cause blackout and teleport you to a nearby possible master. If the area has been cleared, then just wake up straight after.

 

 

 

 

 

That's all I can think of for now.
