That depends on what you mean by "Feature". The old SLSF has a lot of pointless stuff that isn't utilized by other mods. This mod does not include those unused "Features". maihfc Posted December 25, 2025 Posted December 25, 2025 I recently updated haphazardly from a random old version of SLSF-R to 3.2.0 and suddenly started getting "invalid fame Airhead" error popups every time I changed cell. For people who don't read guides (like me and 99% of people out there), if you then tried to follow these uninstall instructions, you might have gotten stuck on step 4: On 8/17/2024 at 6:13 PM, NymphoElf said: Execute the Uninstall function in the Miscellaneous page of the SLSF Reloaded MCM Save your game and quit to desktop Remove SLSF Reloaded with your mod manager (FOR CLEANING) - Load your game, then save again, and clean your save with ReSaver (Remove Unattached instances and Undefined Elements) After disabling SLSF-R, you try to reload last save and you're told that the save is corrupt and you get kicked back to main menu. Filter on "SLSF" and delete everything SLSF-related that you can. (You can't delete strings or global variables, but that's okay. Definitely get rid of the script instances.) Save as a new save. Load that in Skyrim. That worked for me. I saved out, re-enabled SLSF-R, and restarted, and all seems to work fine for me. YMMV. Good luck.

Yes, I actually just realized I goofed up a script because I was planning a large rework then scrapped it halfway through. I'll be fixing this soon. My apologies. Keep saying there is error as below: Aye just stumbled upon that as well, if you don't want to wait for a fixed upload, you can just unpack it. move the Data folder out of that SLSF_Reloaded-main folder, delete that one and repack it MO2 will be fine with it after that.

I'm aware, though while I use it if needed (and already reported an issue to you concerning MAL) I despise it. (Various reasons, one of the main ones being, that I've read the privacy terms. Most people that use and like it seem to have not.) Just wanted to give zwdragonbone a hint to fix the problem himself. 3

I have been here for many years and it has always been user friendly which in my opinion discord is not. Discord comes out with policy that supports discord it is not community based like this site. 2

So unless a competitor appears, Discord is kind of my only reasonable option. @BigOnes69 I've been here for almost 10 years myself. IDK what your definitions of "User Friendly" and "Community Based" are, but Discord has arguably better tools for community engagement and isn't exactly User UNfriendly... LoversLab isn't horrible in either of those regards, but this style of forum website is rather antiquated by today's online standards and expectations. Just for example, my Discord server is entirely based around MY mod user community. So if that's not "Community Based" then nothing is Community Based. Edited January 13 by NymphoElf

But the installation instructions do not mention installing the old version first.. nor the requirements.. and there is no link to get the old one.

However, if another mod requires the original SLSF, then the instructions about legacy overwrite, etc. are how to get the functionality of the newer SLSF-Reloaded while also using the older version. SLSF-Fame Comments, for instance, currently requires the older version (here's the link to the SE version of SLSF). If a mod is built using Reloaded, then it does not also need SLSF. 1

You would need to ask the creator of that mod whether or not they added compatibility to SLSF-R SLSF-R, just like the original SLSF, is a framework for other mods to tie into. 1

As @Seeker999 mentioned, SLSF Reloaded does not require the old SLSF. I don't understand how you determined that the old SLSF is still needed. The whole goal of this mod is to make the old SLSF completely obsolete and NOT needed anymore due to the old SLSF's numerous bugs and issues. The only reason you should use the old SLSF is if SOME OTHER MOD still needs it. In this case, SLSF Reloaded offers an "Overwrite" feature where SLSF Reloaded injects its own fame data into the old SLSF so that it stays consistent for whichever mod still requires the old SLSF. On the front page (though I know it's cluttered, it's hard to help) Quote Concerning "Legacy" SLSF SLSF RELOADED IS NOT A DROP-IN REPLACEMENT FOR THE OLD SLSF!!!!! You may use "Legacy" SLSF (the original mod by Versh) and SLSF Reloaded at the same time. These mods do not conflict AT ALL. SLSF Reloaded DOES NOT REQUIRE the old SLSF to use. It's possible that BFNG support may come to SLSF Reloaded in a future update. I cannot give an ETA. However, mods are capable of building their own SLSF Reloaded interface without needing me to add inherent support to SLSF Reloaded.
