lord mado Posted September 9, 2024 Posted September 9, 2024 As a curious fact, I just realized that if you manage to give the order to any NPC like super mutants, dogs, synths, etc. to get on the table so you can inject them with the hucow serum, they can turn into Bulls to be enjoyed by the hucow, I don't know if this is a bug but I hope they never fix it xD

It wasn't intended as a feature but there is no real reason to stop it from happening.

Human Cattle supports Fusion Girl and CBBE so the morphs should work if the MCM option is turned on unless your version of Fusion Girl uses different slider names.

I do have a question - do you forsee the bulls just forcing themselves on the player if the player is a hucow? Maybe with a time constraint for the player to use the baton and beat the bull back? I have not used the baton - seems like I need a reason to beat the bull or cow? Thanks again for your work. John

This is so that mods like yours will have a way of telling if someone a Cow Morph or a DeathClaw Morph. I had taken a little Hiatus, And now probably I'm going to make a long form post after I get some work done on MSFD next assets. one of which will most likely interest you, That being a Milker. I'll work on that item first then upload a test mod version on both this thread and MSFD's thread. I hope you all have a Great Day My Dudes. 1

John I will eventually add ways for the NPCs, including bulls, to interact more directly with a hucow player. I have tested much of this before and found that it interfered with a lot of player actions in the settlement and occasionally resulted in the player having to reload the last save because menus were open that could not be closed. This usually happens when the player is in the build menu or a workbench menu and an NPC started a sex scene with the player hucow. I will try to keep that from happening and also allow an MCM option to turn off random player sex with NPCs so that you can keep it turned off while working on settlement building or crafting. 1

The same thing was reported to me and I didn't even know where to start looking. It's a new mod for next gen users called X-Cell that solves a new situation. Basically, every mod in existence that adds new characters causes stuttering. I don't know if Bethesda is going to put it back to the way it was before or it stays like this forever. This new mod solves that, but you have to regenerate the faces of your NPCs in the Creation Kit and pack them 😵💫 Worth saying, I decided not to do it because I'm not moving to next gen yet. Although a user did it for me and I put it as an optional file for XCell users. Edit: From what I'm reading, you can flag your NPC as "IsChargen Face" to fix this too. The bad thing about x-cell is if you patch all your mods that add/change NPC's, you'll quickly have over a TB of extra data. Yet another reason to not update the game. For folks staying on the old version the facegen part is really pointless. But to many folks don't understand and think it's the best thing since sliced bread. Much like PRP. Someone made it for my Commonwealth Captives patch and it's 3Gb. 🙄

Bugthesda really screwed the pooch like never before on that garbage. If you noticed, in the past when they would push an update, the community would pretty quickly start fixing the bugs. With the NG update, the hot files were mods to downgrade the game & stop it from updating. The DEI hires found new ways to break the game to the point even the community didn't want to fix it. They must have gotten fired (fingers crossed) as they've never released a new update to fix the all the broken garbage. 1

LarryJD8822 Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 (edited) I cloned Mags Black to a HuCow, my problem is, there is no quest progress "Open Season - Hunt Down and Kill Mags Black" If I want her as a HuCow now, I have to kill her, then clone her with the Portable Cloning Device mod, then I have to rename her from Settler to Mags Black and then I can use the Hucow serum I wonder if this is the case with other quest NPCs, such as Kendra, Kendra is also a problem with Human Resources, if you make her a slave with Human Resources there is no quest progress. The clone serum syringes should not be used on Unique NPCs that are needed for quests because they remove the original NPC and replace them with a cloned version. This breaks your quest because it has condition checks for the original NPC. Human Resources does the same thing. I learned how to clone NPCs from Human Resources. Then I took it two steps further by also changing genders and adding a lot of new things to the clones. I have thought of a way that would store the original NPCs and swap them back into the game for the hucow clone when you cure them but that would involve a lot of changes to Human Cattle and most players rarely change cows back into normal NPCs. I have also been thinking about a total overhaul of my RefCollectionAliases to prevent actors from occasionally having non-voiced dialogue and make dialogue changes from settler to hucow and back again easier. It works pretty well now except for unique NPCs that are converted with the regular hucow serum. But these kinds of changes would take a week or two of work and I am reluctant to spend much time on them. 1

Just Business, Human Resources, and Human Cattle (clone serum) all do this. when i want to have "control" (make a slave/settler/hucow) of a unique NPC that has quests or other things i do not want to lose, what i do is make a clone (portable cloning device is great), then rename the clone to the original name, do what i want to the clone, but also put a synth component into the original's inventory (hey the Institute saw the original was missing and sent in a synth to replace them). and if the original and the clone meet it fits the lore anyway (random encounter of Art and Art where one is original and the other a synth).
