Sorry but I don't see what P+ is?
And I also went through steps 250/260 to get to 270 with the command but after freeing the wolf from the spider's web the game also crashes,
but then I retested and used the command with 280 while outside the mine and the wolf came out and the quest updated

I've got a weird bug related to the Thalmor Embassy quest.

I haven't done the vanilla quest yet (Diplomatic Immunity), and just did the quest from this mod, and successfully finished it.

 

But now if I try to talk to Jarl Baalgruuf, or Jarl Igmund of Markarth (and probably others...), they no longer have their normal dialogue options, but instead give me dialogue from the vanilla quest as if they're attending the party:

As a result I can't progress in any other quests that require interactions with them 😕

UPDATE:

 

So I went ahead and completed the quest "Diplomatic Immunity" (luckily I already had it queued up, just haven't started it). That made the Jarls go back to normal dialogue options. But hopefully this can be fixed in future updates so that it doesn't happen again.

Endarie doesn't seem to have any dialogue related to getting clothing for Balazar. Could be I missed some trigger or something? Or I'm supposed to just buy some clothes, but that isn't specified in the quest description.

Eh, 1-24 hours.  The player can choose how long before getting banged by Balazar.  Dremora tend to be randy don't they and besides the PC is his toy anyway.

Thanks for the note. I found the problem. There is a vanilla trigger box on the embassy grounds that sets up the Diplomatic Immunity party. I thought it had a precondition that the Diplomatic Embassy quest must be running, but it doesn't. (BTW, this would work fine if I wasn't opening the gate early.) I'll modify the vanilla quest in the next version so the trigger box won't set up the Diplomatic Immunity party unless the Diplomatic Immunity quest is running. 

 

Using the embassy for Balazar added a lot of complexity, but I think it's worth it to be able to use such an interesting location.

I assume you have the objective "Speak to Endarie at the Radiant Raiment clothing shop in Solitude." If so, then the only requirement is that Balazar must be with you (within 1000 units) in his Dremora form.

Does the Spriggan say "You do not belong here!" If so, you have to be completed naked (including no helmet or boots). Also, you can't be armed. This means no weapon out but also no magic spells equipped.

 

If the Spriggan doesn't say that, then there's something else wrong, but the Spriggan is set as "Non-aggressive" so I think it must be the above.

I just began a playthrough with this mod (haven't started the quest yet, but I am looking forward to it), and just to make sure I understand and avoid this issue, everything will work fine if I do the Diplomatic Immunity quest before starting this questline?

 

On a related note, is this mod paced in such a way that there are "stopping points" where you can go do other things and come back to it when you're ready? Or are you pretty much locked in from start to finish?

Yes. Or, you could do the Diplomatic Immunity questline after, but then the party guests may not be available (or may not have needed dialogue) until you complete the Diplomatic Immunity quest.  Also, note that the embassy issue relates only to the Solitude part of this quest, which you can consider optional until you want to do it. (Or you could wait until the next update to do it.)

There are definitely stopping points, but you are pretty locked into the first two segments (freeing Balazar from the curse, revenge on Clavicus Vile). After that, you can dismiss Balazar and summon him back whenever you want.  Of course, even when you are "locked in" you can still do whatever you want -- you'll just be subject to Balazar's whims.

There are definitely stopping points, but you are pretty locked into the first two segments (freeing Balazar from the curse, revenge on Clavicus Vile). Awesome, thank you. I'm also playing with Requiem for the first time (probably a terrible idea), and one of my biggest concerns with cool quest mods is that they'll drag me into/through an area that will instantly kill me. This is obviously my problem and not any mod creator's, but it's good to know there will be enough agency to avoid locking myself out of continuing the game without using to the console to kill things.

Just finished all 4 current questlines, mostly without a hitch and had a blast. For some reason, occasionally Balazar's head would disappear, but never for long and not often. Couple things I ended up wishing for. For Sylgja, I wished there were an option to

watch her play with her fox after you first walk in on her. Instead of just you and the fox or you and her.

 

Also, after you complete the cities, I wished there were an option to be collar free without dismissing Balazar altogether. Perhaps there is/will be and I haven't given it enough time yet. Just finished the last city. But overall it was a lot of fun.

 

 

 

Edit: There was one more thing I had forgotten about.

When doing the Forsworn quest, I had chosen Hag's End. While doing that, or, just after before I went back, I ended up picking up a piece of Mehrune's razor. Now, even though I hadn't started that questline, the pommel piece still was flagged as a quest item, so it would not let me drop it. That being said when I did the embassy quest afterwards, it ended up being stripped from me. Now, I did realize it beforehand, so it's partly on me since I could have went ahead and did the whole Mehrune's razor quest before continuing with the embassy, but I was eager to continue on with Balazar's quests. I just wish it didn't have to strip undroppable quest items along with everything else, but maybe that's not possible.

I have finished the first priestess quest, and the next one Balazar asked me to go to Dagon Shrine, upon to go there i always crash to desktop, is it because i have mod that change the place like Ryn dagon shrine replacer?

also this mod replacer for dremora https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/117542?tab=files made the Balazar dremora form only have head and dong, but the body is missing 🙃
could be not compatible on this mod too?

I've never seen Balazar's head disappear. He's just a vanilla Dremora Lord, so nothing really special about him.

Still open, but this could be an option after the five main cities (two to go).

Where was the quest item stripped? In the Thalmor headquarters in Solitude? Or by the gate guard at the embassy? If the former, the items are in the chest in the Thalmor headquarters. If the latter, the items are in a chest upstairs in the guard barracks at the embassy.  

 

But, I take your point. I'll look into a way to not strip quest items.

These do sound like mod conflicts. No one else has reported them. Does the crash occur inside or outside of the Dagon Shrine? I haven't made any changes to the world space there, so this is somewhat surprising. Same for Balazar's dremora form. He's just a vanilla Dremora Lord.

1. Yeah, probably not this mod's issue with the dremora head as I also have the dremora faces mod. Balazar is just the only one I ever saw it happen to. Also the one I spent the most time around, so there's that. 

 

2. Yeah, I saw her when I walked in. I was meaning something repeatable you could request after that with her and the fox. Like there is with PC and fox or PC and Syljia.

 

3. Makes sense. Still more content to come, so I'm all for it.

 

4. It was stripped outside at the first checkpoint. Didn't realize there was a chest for that one. I did end up seeing the chest for when you are stripped again inside for jail. Thought that was the only one. No biggie. There are far too many quests for me to worry about one I maybe can't do. I also messed up Riften thaneship this time around by getting and visiting Honeyside too quickly. There are always future playthroughs.

I've had this, sometimes (in combat) Balazar equips a full armor set including the Dremora Helmet, I had some armor replacer mods that changed the Dremora helmet causing headless Balazar.

I'm having a strange issue - I think I've completed the quests. I summoned him at some point again, and can become enslaved again, etc. - but there's no longer an option to tell him to go away.  I'm pretty sure I'm not in the middle of the Solitude quest.

im having an issue with balazar himself, him and him only ndoesnt have collisions in his husky form, all other creatures do, i have updated abc and the rest.

Hi I like this mode but I'm stuck with calcelmo's Dwemer beacon. the animation doesn't want to start. However, I have quite a few animation modes. Do you have the console code to skip this step?

If a quest is active, you will have the dialogue to dismiss him but he'll respond that he "won't free you until you've gained him favor with the Jarl". I looked at the dialogue conditions and the only thing I can see that would prevent the dismiss dialogue completely is if you are not wearing one of the three Balazar collars. (The collar type is a condition so he can unequip the right one and take it from you.)
