Just a question or a suggestion: you should add a way to skip parts one and two, or either one or the other, I had problems with mod organizer and had to reinstall and it's quite frustrating to have to start all over again before discovering the new content. Unless there's a method with the console, but we don't know either the quest ID or the corresponding stage.


Thanks for your work, this mod is by far in the top 3 of Loverslab's best, sincerely 🙂.

The line of code after the message should give you back player control. Do you have any mods that relate to player control, like True Directional Movement? That's the only thing I can think of that would interfere with the command to give you back player control.

I think you mean Dawnstar. You probably don't have an animation for a Storm Atronach. You can use the following console command to skip this animation stage:

 

setstage BLZR_Quest 80

Thanks.  'setstage BLZR_Solitude3 100' will get the quest going again on your return to Solitude. Also, I assume this means you don't have a Lurker animation.

Thanks. That makes sense. In addition to stages, there are quite a few variables that need to be set, and actors moved or enabled/disabled, and a spell given, etc. It's a bit too much for console commands.

 

Maybe the best way to do this is to add a spell book somewhere with the Summon Balazar spell.  That spell could check if it is being thrown early and, if so, trigger the Balazar's Emissary (part 3) quests and set a few variables. I could put the book in the Temple of Mara, although it might make more sense to put it somewhere like the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon, although that's probably too hard for a PC that just started. Also, I would need to disable the dog in the temple, so it's probably best if the book isn't in the temple. Any other suggestions for book location? It shouldn't be too obvious. I can imagine players accidently starting the quest in this manner, not realizing what the book is.

I would jump in with a "I second @Voltair's suggestion". I would very much like to see this implemented if it is not asking too much of you.

I just got done playing this mod and failed to check for an update before starting a new game then found your update, thank you very much for this too as it is good of you to keep the whole story going.

Lot's just loose interest and leave partially finished mods.

Thanks for answer. I saw many other mods with an option in MCM which add a spellbook with a little description like "check to have book wich skip part X. Warning ! this shouldn't be use in a first playthrought". Also, just a dialogue line can be cool, just has to say " a dog ? let me be your thing.." which "break the curse" because your character is already... to much submissive 🙃.

If you prefer to let a book somewhere, it can be good to place it in the Temple of Mara, with just a warning inside the book or in the name.

Hi. I'm have trouble with Riften scooma quest... When i enter naked at the docks ''party''... well, nothing happend, just all of them stop stand still

Managed to get into the embassy past folsomo and nothings happening, its pointing me to a door I can't get through down the stairs, into the prison I think? Is something supposed to happen after entering the embassy?

Upon entering the Embassy, you should see several naked NPCs as well as Thalmor and their minions. Otherwise, something has gone wrong.

Thanks dude, any trouble shooting tips I might try? Could go back to an earlier save maybe and see if that helps

Generally, there are 2 doors. The one proper to the Vanilia Embassy (disabled during this quest) and the door to the Embassy with the mod. This is easier to see if you use a language other than English.

I've just realised I might have an older version. Is it safe to update it mid playthrough? Love the mod so far

OK. Safe is mid-game unless the mod author says otherwise (usually, this happens as the author refreshes the mod to make it more reliable).

Hello and happy new year! thanks for answering ! The "issue fixed itself" I wasn't on the same place xD I was in the Apocrypha version when we open the book Balazar gives us, not the one where we encounter the 3 seekers and the lurker lol those ones were fines.

i have create a new campagin and havent play the camapgn with my character, WHERE can i find the hidden Entrance to Forgotten VALE ?!

 

haven found it near pinefrost Tower :D

yes,I have it. You mean if I can't control my player,the NPC "Drellus" will not appear?

In first Solitude quest game crashes upon quest "Demon Whore" completion. The same happens if use setstage BLZR_Solitude 170. How to resolve this issue?

so, this mod overrides diplomatic immunity with its own quest even if you never start balazars.

No. Diplomatic Immunity is normally to be completed just don't do it during the Balazar quest. That is, it is best to complete Diplomatic Immunity first and then only take the Balazar quest for Solitude.

In the Thalmor Embassy quest, everything works fine until after the bear. When I attempt to advance to whatever happens afterwards, Elenwen's dialogue doesn't trigger anything. Is there a setstage command that might help here? I'm not sure what could be causing this issue, looked thoroughly through this thread to see if anyone else had this problem.

Have you tried talking to the bear? If no animation appears after the dialogue, it means there is no animation for the bear. Or is it not possible to talk to the bear?

I have a couple of issues with the thalmor embassy quest. It started up when I went there for the main story mission, even though I never started Balazar's Quest and it removes quest items from my inventory that I couldn't even remove myself. Otherwise it seems to run smoothly, but the whipping scenes take forever to finish for me. Maybe it's due to my ADXP combat mods changing the way whipping works
