Version 1.21 is up now, all scripts recompiled with the latest Devious Devices.  It includes:

* A fix for the broken enchantments reported by mfbean.

* Angrim has more chances to punish you with the armbinder, if you aren't wearing your belt (or have the key in your possession).

* You have more chances to use the Ensnare spell on Angrim (not just at the 'end' anymore).

* Added a few tweaks to the animation tags, which should prevent gender-inappropriate animations.

* Some internal rework to prevent potential mod collisions.

Needs more succubus content. ;)

Did you ever get around to changing the succubus drain spell to equip as a power instead of into a hand?  -_-

Not yet.  Bug fixes come first.

Thanks for the update @stobor. Is it safe to install it in an on-going game or would it require a new one?

Also I finally found how to make Angrim advance lol... feeling a little dumb <_< but hey, bright side, everything seems to be working just fine for now :D Though of course I don't have any followers with me and haven't seen an emissary yet, which seem to be the two things that mess up for me. But so far so good :D

I'm also starting to wonder about this spell I keep hearing about in the thread, "Ensnare". I have a few spells now, but not that one. It's not in the locked chest either. I'm gonna assume it's just a spell unlocked at very late stages of Angrim's quest :P

Also here is something I found in regards to the naked-undress animation loop: When it comes to the time for Angrim to put the collar on you and what not, if you skip the message by just clicking somewhere on the screen, you will start the process to getting the collar by undressing, but it seems the rest of the process will still take its time. However, even after you see the undressing loop, if you just wait for a little while eventually you will get the rest of the stuff (I hope I got things right by memory, this was yesterday late at night).

-Also- the seductress robes Angrim sales, if you don't have the optional requirement for the transparent ones the robes make your body invisible when you wear them. They don't take the aspect of a vanilla robe instead, at least for me. However at some point when he gave me something, maybe after one of the spells or the collar, he also gave me a robe, but it was an Adept destruction robe (which I'm hardly going to complain with, my char being a conjuration/destruction wizard :P), however it -wasn't- the seductress robes, if that's what he was supposed to give you... Unless that's what you mean by using a vanilla robe instead of the transparent one, in which case though he is still selling the original in his inventory.

Anyway, these are just minor things that haven't broken anything for me at all, just figured I'd mention them!

Thanks again!

need help i got stuck on the 1st quest about the beer soaked tome

Dalliance quest: For it to advance past that stage, you need to sleep (I'd advise someplace reasonably open and level, probably more private than an inn).  And you need to be free of any chastity belt, from this mod or any other.  At that point, you'll have a visitor.

@monababii: The update should be safe to install on an existing game, but I can't possibly test all the conditions that might result, so take precautions (i.e. keep a save with the old version around until you're sure).

The 'Ensnare' spell (one of the key requirements for ending #3) is never taught by Angrim, for reasons that will become obvious.  It is the reward for one of the radiant quests (Carnal Arcana, I believe, is the book that starts this one).  To get that ending, you'll need to use it on Angrim before he does something nasty to you instead.  And you'll need the Agent of Dibella perk too.

The 'Seductress Robe' is a suitably enchanted transparent Nocturnal robe; if you don't have CT77's Remodeled Armor, I have substituted a comparable vanilla mage robe instead.  Less visually appropriate, but comparable in power.

Can you make an option for a UNP version of the seductress robe?  I know "The Art of Magicka" has a few flavors of transparent Nocturnal's robe.

Hey stobor.

I got the Succubus quest from Angrim's basement in Feglow's Keep (or whatever that place is called), and I finally got time in-game to make my way there as I also have the 3 books quest from the College. When I get to the specific area inside where the quest marker is pointing to, there is nothing there D: Would it had anything to do the fact that I finished the quest with Angrim? (it was worth the headaches in the end, pretty nice quest-line :D)

I went to read the OP in this thread and saw one spoiler where you mention the command stopquest/startquest, so I figured I'd give those a try since the quest was seemingly stuck. I typed in stopquest questbook2 (whatever the actual name was, checked on the console :P) and that made me complete the quest, complete with big bold letters message and everything. When I went to 'startquest' it, nothing happened D: and the quest still shows grayed out in the area of my log where all the completed quests go.

Was I supposed to find someone there, or cast some sort of spell at the spot where the marker was pointing?

Thanks in advance. And again great work :) Now that I completed it, I'll wait for maybe a couple/few more updates to reinstall it and I'll start a new game over to replay it (I'm using the version prior to this latest update).

I've had a similar problem once in Wolfskull Cave; basically, these are locations that are modified during the game by other quests (the Crying Wolf quest, and the Mage College quest), and those modifications can render the original containers (assigned when the game is first started) unreachable/non-existent.  That tends to break radiant quests such as these.

The 'Succubus Lore' quest should've led to the spell tome for 'Drink Soul'; just give yourself that tome via the console instead.

Or, since you restarted the quest, you probably also want to type 'setstage questname 10' to get it added to your journal again (as if you'd just read the starting book).

Oh okay :) Yeah actually right after writing that post I went reading a few pages back, and piecing things together along with a couple more reads of the original post I did figure about the spell. It was mostly a post made by Ashra (thanks to you as well :P) though I didn't want to add it until I got a confirmation.

That said, the spell is kinda wonderful :D I remember once trying to use that other mod called Sex and Seduction or murder and seduction or something like that, to get to kill targets through sex and what not, though I never quite got it to work. This spell seems like it would be just perfect for a dark brotherhood agent :D

However this begs the question:

- Is there -any- way to use this spell and still remain anonymous about the kill?

I tested the spell once (to kill Nazim <____<) and used Submit's mechanic to lead him to a secluded spot in Whiterun (didn't wanna go indoors with Submit playing to avoid weirdness and CTDs or anything that could go wrong), and there were no people or guards around at all. After the sex scene, the spell did kill him, but that second between Us snapping back up on our feet after the sex poses, and the spell finishing doing its thing, he shouted, and after he died the guards across town knew that I was the one who did it (I was kind of expecting to get the message "Last witness killed" or something).

Now being caught trying to kill Nazim that's kinda fine :P I mean I am just killing someone mostly innocent, but when it comes to the dark brotherhood targets, I'm worried I won't get to use the spell at all D:

Also worth mentioning that the Bounty I get for killing the person is not a bounty of 1000 for actually killing an NPC, but a bounty of 40 instead for aggression; the game doesn't seem to catch on that the NPC died after the "aggression", though I wonder if this is intentional somehow?

Anyway, thanks a lot for the mod and the fun times :) Can't wait to see where else you take it!

Oh, thanks! :D

There is a mod on the nexus called Sneak Tools (pretty amazing mod by the way :o) and amongst all the things it adds, it introduces a new system which allows you to use masks and hoods to conceal your identity. If you kill someone wearing a mask or a hood that has the "enchantment", guards will still go after you, and your bounty -will- raise, BUT, if you go out of the guards' range and remove the mask, they will be looking for the masked/hooded criminal, effectively making the game track 2 different bounty characters; The hooded character may have a freaking... 2 million gold bounty in all the holds, but the character without the hood is in perfect terms with everyone. Also the downside to wear a mask/hood is that NPCs won't talk to you at all, and guards will be more likely to stop their patrol and just stare at you as if they were very suspicious (so wearing one of these hoods before sex is not really viable :P) but maybe you could do something similar?

Dunno, don't know anything about modding, but hey it's an idea :P At the very least it could be a mechanic for the player if they are using the "Succubus" race or something.

Anyway, thanks again and good luck!

stobor, thank you for this awesome mod!

Now I completed for the first time without any computer glitches the quest with the ensnare spell.

I think that part of the quest can be polished.

I could imagine something like this:

Angrim goes on about his business to free himself of Sanguine's curse as he planned, and summons the emissary and fucks the PC as planned.

When he comes he feels drained, and says "oh no".

Sanguine appears, laughing his ass off.

The Emissary rapefucks Angrim in the ass, the latter keeps saying "oh no" "oh no"...

Sanguine says "you wanted to pass on my curse to <name of PC> Angrim, but she is mine already, hahaha - I had other plans for you".

Sanguine says "you will now serve <name of PC> as a thrall, Angrim... and I have to thank you for such good entertainment, you should have seen your face when you finally understood what happened hahaha"

Sanguine turns to PC and says "you are mine. You shall continue to provide me with entertainment. here, take this <spellbook of summon emissary>, call one of my aides whenever you need, I'll be watching."

And Sanguine and his emissary disappear.

While I agree that there's more that can be done with that ending, I disagree with the specifics.  That ending quite plainly involves Dibella countering the plans of one of Sanguine's minions.  Turning it into a double-cross by Sanguine just doesn't fit.

Now, doing something like that if the player character is already a full Succubus...  that's another matter.

aah, indeed, I forgot about dibella.

but there needs to be something more than there is now... well, I'll sleep over it.

It's said that Azura is the only daedra that is not considered plain evil, so maybe even dibella could be up to some mischief. Or is it cavicus vile? :)

Posted

@manarak: Dibella is an Aedra though, not a Daedra; a divine. I think you got those two a little mixed up :P By all accounts, Dibella -is- way way way less evil than Azura :P considering what Azura did to elves in times when the Dwemer were still around. Azura is the reason Dark Elves look the way they do, a curse from the "less evil" Daedra :P

[/lore-nerd rant]

Not sure how to advance the quest, might've broken it. Anytime I talk to Angrim I get a go away whore line. I used sqs and it shows stages 10, 20 and 100 at 1, rest are 0. I assume stage 100 is the end as that was the last on in the sqs list. Does it being 1 mean I've triggered the end somehow? I've done the potion, and the three book quests so far.

Yeah, if you've hit stage 100 you've permanently annoyed Angrim.  Did you, by any chance, attempt to kill him (and fail)?
