Princessity Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Hello, I asked this in Slavetats threads some days ago but I didn't had any answer :/ someone know if Devious Device is now compatible with SlaveTats or not ? Thank you Why were they incompatible before? I don't remember anyone reporting conflicts with slavetats. Maybe I did a mistake the last time but when i wanted put it in MO, it asked me if I wanted replace Devious Devices o_o and after i had to install it again :/ That's not an incompatibility, just some weird MO-side issue. If it occurs again, just rename slavetats to its proper name while installing, don't install it in the same mod directory as DD.

I see a lot of script files (.pex) in the script folder, but that doesn't necessarily mean its script heavy. Just asking cuz I have a heavy modded Skyrim and trying to list all the big scripted ones so I can pick which ones to keep and which ones to lose.

LibertyPrime Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 For the life of me, I can't figure out how to make the quest markers for the Forbidden Tome appear in Skyrim itself and not elsewhere. I keep reloading right before I talk to the orc and it keeps placing them in the same place (one in Skyrim and the two others gods know where). Can I please just get the codes to advance the quest to the next stage manually and simply player.placeatme Zed himself?

Thanks for the help, but now I have another issue. It's really hard to stay cool with this specific part of the mod. So I travelled to Solstheim, and it turns out Zed was in Skyrim, but the quest marker only showed up when I checked out the quest marker in Solstheim. Anyway, so I finally found Zed, and he sends me to pick up three items. Two of them are in Skyrim and I acquire them, and the last one isn't showing up. So I travel to Solstheim and there it is. So I travel to the location and it turns out it's a dungeon that's used in the main quest of Dragonborn. I haven't even started that questline yet. Please, what do I do? This is so frustrating. How hard is it to manually select three dungeons and place them all in Skyrim, so that they aren't something that you can't unlock until you complete a certain sidequest or even worse, the main quest? For the sake of players who reach this quest in the future, please consider doing it. This is EXTREMELY frustrating.

It's a bit outdated and has issues, but it's also not critical to the core DD experience so it's stuck at the bottom of our priority list and it sinks further and further down as we find opportunities to introduce new content and improve gameplay mechanics. None of us are currently interested in revising the devious quests and we haven't had any volunteers from outside the team so I'm afraid I can't promise the quests will be fixed any time soon. I'm busy writing a new sexlab filter, Kimy is overhauling items and adding new ones and artists are doing art. There is nobody dedicated to quest content at this time.

Update your XPMSE, update your FNIS, generally update everything. Try uninstalling it and see if it helps. Also MomoAJ and the xp32's "Momo Acrobatic Jump" patch modify behaviour files which makes it likely to interfere. Try disabling that as well. Edit: Also, I did say update your FNIS. The current version is 6.3, you're using 6.2. Please download the latest version from Nexus. It also wouldn't hurt to redownload XPMSE. Even if you think it's up to date, download it again just to be sure.

People have been reporting this problem forever but they didn't cooperate so we couldn't identify the exact issue. Now that we know outdated FNIS is responsible we'll be able to help them better.
