Veladarius Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but when you equip an items like cuffs on your character are they supposed to be purely cosmetic or are they actually supposed to animate your character with your arms bound together? Whenever I equip my character with cuff type items they just continue to move around normally like they are just wearing a cosmetic item and I'm not sure if that is normal. I do have both this a Zaz's animation pack installed. Some of them are cosmetic, such as the arm and leg cuffs. However, armbinders, belts, plugs, and other items have more functions than just looks. Thanks for the info. I don't see a mod or way to make something like arm cuffs non cosmetic and actually bind your characters arms together, I assume nothing like that exists? Cursed Loot has some in it that require struggling to get out of but the only way to find them is for them to find you. is it possible to reset or manually start the forbidden quest? like a dope I opened the bookshelf and looked at the books while ugor wasn't in the room and my last save is a long time back >.< If you have the book just go in when he is there, drop the book and pick it up again. If you don't have the book use the console to give it to you, should still work.

Hmm that's too bad, hopefully someday someone will make a mod that makes cuffs non cosmetic and actually restrict the character, or update an existing mod to give you an option to select having cuffs be non cosmetic like armbinders.

I did have some locking cuffs set for the next scene in QAYL. They were going to variable so they could be fastened behind the back, in a boxtie or in armbinder pose. They had a mode to activate things normally but prevent combat as well. I think I got most of the bugs out. I was trying to get a hands-in-front mode as well, but that animation gets overwritten by the hands-behind one and I never got around to re-adding it.

I was just... coming up behind you... to give you a hug! Yeah!" "Oh, whoops, I dropped my... uh, I mean, I dropped your present. That I was going to give to you. It's a knife, um, because I know... I know you like edged weapons. Ahem." "Oh shit... I mean, uh... Ha ha ha ha ha! Gotcha! I totally had you, dude! You thought I was gonna stab you! You should've seen your face!" "Crap, I dropped it! Uh, I mean... crap, did you see that? It dropped! The dagger dropped. From the ceiling. It was, like, held up there by a string. As a trap. For invaders, or... rats... It could've hit me! You! I mean me! It... almost hit... um... hey, look over there!"
darkevilhum Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Is there a way to have normal conversation options whilst equipped with a dd gag? I'm tired of all the minigames and other bits whereby you either get ignored/ say no or they remove your gag. Really would like an answer to this or a potential workaround that I can apply. I love the look of wearing a gag but the features that come with it lose their novelty after well... been playing skyrim since it came out, same with SL etc. Bumping my question. Is this the right place to actually ask this?

sawdaw Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 I am not sure where the proper place to post this question is so hopefully someone can answer it. I am using Deviously cursed loot and I see a tab called "Rubber Doll" What is that about? What does it do and how do I activate it?

Yeah something like that were you can still activate things since your hands are technically free but can't engage in combat would probably be the ideal way of implementing something like that. Hopefully you get most of the bugs worked out for it.
Averlin Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 Despite the number of times I had to reload, I found the quests to be a lot of fun. I'd love to see even more quests involving items besides chastity belts. I'm always ready to help the good magicians of Winterhold. I was a little disappointed to find out that Zed is an essential character, though it should have been obvious to me that he would be. I thought that since he tried to have me killed by sending me into a dungeon filled with things whose idea of play time is different than mine (I died 12 times in the first dungeon alone and spent several agonizingly tedious real world hours getting out of the armbinder over and over), I'd like to return the favour. I did come up with an alternative, though. Since I was one of his 'experiments', he got to be one of mine. I have SOS installed, so I kept feeding Zed falmer potions til he was down to a size of 1. He gets to live, but I bet he thinks of me every day. I have some ideas for quest hooks and twists. Helping the Illusion professor, Drevis, work on his invisibility spell could mean all kinds of hijinks as his assistant. Sexlab Solutions (I think) already has him take advantage of you if you pretend you can't see him when you first meet him. So appropriate - he seems like a total dirty old man - and with him, things can only get kinkier from there. Does he really think my wearing a blindfold would help make him invisible? Did he really have to resort to a gag? I mean, I wasn't really that critical of his abilities. Why am I the one sent to test the Emperor's New Clothes? Why did that potion of invisibility only make my clothes disappear? Collette is the 'school nurse', being the teacher of Restoration magic. Anyone want to play doctor? Up for a check up? Up for helping her test human endurance and reaction to being in bondage? Anyone else see Collette as a secret top who will be taking your temperature with something that isn't a thermometer? Anyone want to go collect medical supplies for her from her even kinkier sister in Morthal? Mirabelle is the head mistress and seems to be a stickler for 'discipline'. I'm sure she probably has several ideas for keeping unruly students in check. I suspect these range from corporal punishment (you don't want to get sent to detention), to tasks around the college and out in the world. If Zed had sent me somewhere they'd appreciate me better than dwemer spiders do, I wouldn't feel so raw against him. He really is a good character to set off quests, being an inquisitive and clever pervert. Perhaps he'll get me to test a dwemer pleasure machine next. Maybe the spiders could develop a new appreciation for organic life. Who would have thought of attaching something like that to a Centurion? Or maybe next time he needs me to find supplies they could be in a town, where I'm less likely to be killed than I am to be imprisoned for b&e (with Prison Overhaul installed that becomes quite a tantalizing danger to risk), or locked up in some perv's basement dungeon. Or perhaps I could be asked to steal from a bandit camp. They might kill me as readily as most dungeon creatures after they're done with me, but I also have better odds of escaping by jumping in a river and running. He might have me risk the magicians of Fort Amol. Best option yet, though, perhaps he'd like to test a device or two himself... if I can get past how creepy he is I'm sure my fellow students would be only too eager to help me with some of the tasks I've been given, since I helped them. I'm sure they wouldn't take advantage of me in any way, since we're all students together. They might come up with new tasks of their own that I could help them with, since I'm always eager to help. To correct Brelyna's latest misfired spell, I have to do what? And, I'm sure that even after I become archmage, they'll have only the utmost respect for my authority. The last thing I remember is drinking from that keg on the second floor and now I'm... wait, where am I? Don't forget Sergius. I don't know about everyone else, but in my game, it seems like every time I go into the teacher's quarters he's making out with Faralda (who always hits on my character - lining me up for a menage?). Since a conversation between Urag and Nirya makes it pretty clear Sergius has something going on with her as well (something she denies a little too strenuously to be believed), you know he's got more ideas to test out. I don't know about the World, but I'm getting the feeling Sergius is probably on the short list for The Most Interesting Man in Skyrim. He has a Lover's Lane and a Pervert's Row named after him. No, the magic pony boots and arm binder won't let me turn into a horse... and I may never recover from the attempt... and the desire to eat hay. No, that staff didn't set the enemy on fire... unless you mean his passion. I'm not telling you where the giant put that ring you sent him. Those cuffs of binding work... but not in the way you'd hoped... but the dremora lord says to thank you.
Min Posted July 21, 2015 Author Posted July 21, 2015 New version is up: 2.9.1. This is largely a maintenance release. As such, it should be safe to update mid-savegame. Changelog: Bugfixes (Bad math, missing ground objects, etc). Numerous optimizations. New support for HDT belly compression, to avoid corset/belt belly clipping. Scaling Framecode changed to utilize NiOverride (XPMSELib), for better mod interoperability. The majority of this update was provided by T3h0th3r: Thank you! Another release is likely to happen fairly soon, expanding beast race support, and providing support for the upcoming Sexlab release.

t3h0th3r Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 It should be noted that the HDT node management requires XPMSE 2.6+ apart from that nothing bad shouldTM happen.
Slorm Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 It should be noted that the HDT node management requires XPMSE 2.6+ apart from that nothing bad shouldTM happen. Just to clarify for people on older versions of XPMS, is a mandatory update of skeleton required or will an earlier version just ignore HDT mode management?
t3h0th3r Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 i frankly haven't tried what happens in that case. anyone using HDT PE (or SMP) should use XPMSE2 and only the versions from 2.6 on have the required scripting part. TL;DR: if you enable HDT node management use XPMSE2 2.6+

This is the part that requires XPMSE 2.6+ I just checked with and old X93ar50 skeleton and it seems fine if you toggle on corset, it just doesn't do anything, as you'd expect. Doesn't cause a crash or anything though.
