Device Hider is or has been a key feature of the mod for some time.

 

There are MCM Menu's you will have to go into to adjust and they are actually fairly simple to use.  Just Go to Device Hider Panel 2, if you want all Devices to show no matter what I think that the ones usually active at start are in there.

Some of the harnesses are invisible for me (for example the one just known as "harnass" is invisble). The mods that interact with DD I have installed are DDA, DDi, DDx, captured dreams shop and sexlab submit devious progression. I can post a mod order/list if you need it. Also, what outfit did you use in the last 5 pictures in the mod description?

 

Edit: After some testing the device hider is hiding the slave harness and custom slave harness even if I'm naked although even disabling the device hider the regular "harness" item is still invisible.

 

It has been reported - see here - that one of the harness meshes uses the wrong slot and is therefore invisible. Until the fix mentioned in that post is released (assuming it hasn't been yet) you can try fixing it yourself. If you know how to use nifskope and know your way around the devious folder structure you can open the _0 and _1 nifs for that harness and change the slot from 49 to 58.

Hi, I have a problem/question about Sergius Experiment.

For how long the PC have to wear the belt/gem? It's getting kina boring, I'm 100/100 arroused since 2 days, but Sergius keep telling it's not charged yet.

 

Yeah this quest isn't good. And by not good I mean terrible. There is simply no functional way to know how long you have left. The messages, if you manage to see them when they appear, provide no useful information whatsoever. The only way to not fail this quest is to simply sit near Sergius and keep fast forwarding time. If you try going out to do other quest thinking you will come back later, you are going to fail hard because there is no functional way to know how long you have left and no real way to know how long the fast traveling is going to take. And if you miss the overly small time period you have to turn this quest in, and by small I mean less than 1 minute, you have to do the whole damned thing all over again. So if you aren't standing near Sergius for about 20 minutes of real time, even after you've just fast forwarded through multiple days, you are going to fail. If for some reason Sergius's dialogue box doesn't come up within the less than 1 minute you have to turn in this quest, you will fail. As such this quest was terrible.

 

The quest  involving getting a chastity belt put on you by the orc which sent you to the perverted elf who had you go exploring the Dwemer ruins is fantastic. I have no idea how they went from that good quest to this terrible Sergius "quest" (I'm not sure it really qualifies as a quest though). There is no immersion, no rping, no playing the game, just waiting for a timer to tick by while you do buggerall in real life and hoping you manage to click on Sergius during your less than 1 minute time window, assuming you even catch your less than 1 minute window. If not you don't make it in time, then you have to sit around for another 20 plus minutes of real life time doing buggerall all over again. This is not how the quest should have been implemented. The quest should have involved Sergius putting the soulgem plug in your anus, and then having you charge it by having lots of sex. Once you had enough sex the plug would switch to charged status and then you go turn it in. This would have added so much of what this new quest was missing, gotten rid of the terrible decision to use a hard fail state, and allowed you to do more than sit around on your chair with your thumb up your ass waiting on a timer.

 

My only suggestion is save yourself a ton of real life time by simply using the console to create the charged gem plug to complete the event. The future you will thank you. That or don't even bother. There is no other good option here.

I'd sure like to see some more polish on Sergious Quest or at least on the Chargable Soulgem plug script.

 

At the moment it would appear that if another plugged npc reaches climax due to a plug script the players chargable soulgem loses its charge.

 

Also I was thinking its a very kinky alternative to the influx of pregnancy soulgem farming mods.

 

Except the option in this mod is deeply flawed because the gem loses its charge within less than 1 minute of gaining the charge, and the animation locks the player out of being able to open their inventory to deequip the plug before the the charge is lost. The charge should come from the player having sex, and the charge should never be lost.

Yeah, I dedicded to try this one, but I'm a bit disapointed. Well, I noticed that messages changes sometimes, I'll just try to find a way with the console, or wait again some days.

At this time the Devious Device series has pretty much a high quality UUNP Slider and the whole series in fact is getting full UUNP support.

 

The UUNP Slider Sets that I have made come with the correct BSslots that are not currently in most of the available base asset mods and conversions floating around out there.

 

Such as Harness (which uses incorrect slot data) corrected in my Slider Set.

 

In fact every known UNP body can be said to be fully supported by our line of mods at this time with the exception of my own mod Aradia Devious which will soon have a UUNP slider set and updated ESP!

I went to (58) which I didn't want to hide, and replaced the "None (Disabled)" with "Harness / Corsets (58)" on all 4 lines... it doesn't work though, so I don't understand how it works. Maybe some explanation somewhere would be useful? As in the 1st post? I bet many people have this question.

I think what you did there was to hide anything worn in slot 58 with anything worn in slot 58 - meaning nothing would ever show in slot 58 at all.

 

In the MCM, each slot has its own section with four entries. Whatever you put in those four entries will be hidden when you equip something in the slot in question. From memory, slot 32 (the main body armour/clothing slot) has the following set by default: slot 51, slot 56, slot 58, blank. (I think those are right. They're for nipple piercings, bras and corsets/harnesses.) So whenever you wear anything in slot 32, anything worn in slots 51, 56 and 58 will be invisible.

 

If you want 58 to always show, make sure slot 58 doesn't appear as one of the four options next to any other slot.

Hm, for some reason the "Destroy Key" option isn't working for me. Any items that were being worn when I enable it cannot be removed; key is not destroyed and item is not unequipped. Any items equipped after enabling the option are removed like any old piece of gear.

 

Any idea what might be causing this?

While the mods work fine, the quest line, and especially for the Sergius' Experiment quest, is very badly implemented. Sergius is Very often in Solthheim, AND he Very often places one of his items in Nchardak ruin, which is quest locked for very late in the game. Thus, a player will have to play almost an entire game with the unfinished Sergius' Experiment quest, with the locked chastity belt, at -20% experience rate and no skillbook working due to the skill experience glitch. It is awful.

Any idea what might be causing this? 

 

Upload a papyrus log from a session where this happens (ending just after you try it if possible) so we can see what is going on.

 

 

Any one having crash issues since the sexlab update? It goes away for a few when unload devious mods and reload them it works for a while then messes up again.

 

What DD based mods do you have installed? Are the crashes random or is something happening when it does?

Hey guys, I'm hoping you can help a major pleb who for some reason cannot unequip the pony boots at all. I only have the option to carry on and to put them on even though they are already on. Even if I type in "player.removeallitems" it deletes everything else except the boots. It sucks when your character is stuck wearing the boots and permanently slowing you down. When I equip them it says that Devious devices was not installed correctly but I've reinstalled all the components of it many times to no avail. It just doesn't seem to work. Any help?

Ok i am using devious assets and expansion devious toys 2 DDintegration and dd for the masses and captured dreams 2.84 and cursed look and devious enchanted chests deviously helpless, gagsfx, immerslave pet callar sd plus 32 and sldialogues. All of them are up to date. What happens is I will play for a while and a zone becomes unstable. where if I draw a weapon it will crash or if I go near the area it crashes. At this point if I try to start a new game. It will crash during mod loading. If i uninstall all of them and then reinstall them it will work for a while and that unstable zone works again. My plug in total is only 152.

I have 2 things to try for removing them:

 

1- Place the boots into a container, they will be reequipped automatically. Once they do try unlocking them then.

If that does not work

2- Remove as many things as possible from your inventory as well as unlock any DD items you have, it will make the following easier.

- use 'showinventory' on  your character

- look for items that have no name and show as 'worn'

- remove the item using the console command removeitem  (do not remove the item with the id ending in 40f0c, it is the device hider)

- exit the console, open your inventory and unequip the boots.

Do you use Creature Framework for SexLab? If so I think it is a papyrus overload between it and For the Masses. Creature Framework updates every 5 seconds as a default and it made my game rather unstable, I found setting it to 30 seconds helped things out a lot. Currently I have disabled the Aroused options on Creature Framework in my game and set the refresh times to the maximum.

Nope didn't work even removed dd for the masses still did the crash. I had to remove a few mods to get it to work but now I'm just have the base dd mods and captured dreams and dd for the masses. I guess I will have to wait for some updates.

If you can upload a papyrus log from the crash we may be able to tell if it is script related or not and possible which mod it is.

What about sexlab mods? Your log showed sexlab was the last thing working when you crashed, do you have any mods that would cause random actors to start having sex when you enter a cell?

 

Did you try reinstalling sexlab and the hotfixes? I don't think you're supposed to see messages like "Function sslActorAlias.animating.OnUpdate in stack frame 0 in stack 1726788 differs from the in-game resource files - using version from save" with a clean save.

 

You could try temporarily disabling sexlab cumshot and reinstalling SOS, those are causing you some errors in your log but I doubt they are the source of your crashes.

 

It doesn't look like you uninstalled Deviously enslaved properly either, that or this save really isn't new.

Hey, I've been using this mod for a long time and I've always enjoyed it but I've got one request;

For the Zed portion of the forbidden bookshelf quest, could you block certain locations from being picked? I'm in an early game and I just discovered that Nchardak is one of the locations, and in order to get into there I believe I have to do one or more of the main quest lines I haven't started (and I'm really way below level for). This seems to me to ruin the feel of the Zed item hunt, since the impression I get is it's supposed to be;

"Frantically go to different locations, get items and return to Zed", not "Frantically do large portions of one of the main quest lines so you can get into locations to get items for Zed". It just ruins the feel of the quest, IMO.  

The other one I'd suggest blocking as a choice is the one in Solstheim where you're working for the fellow who is doing an archaeological dig.

So i tried what you said and neither worked unfortunately.  For the second method it says that the boots are unequipped but they are still on my character and the boots are still in the inventory and unequippable.
