yolobomber Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 well it worked only problem now is that all characters dont move normally but more like g-mod and dont turn around, so fnis is now broke. any tips for that aswell??
cleversheep Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 I fear that I'm being very stupid and missing something obvious, but I cannot get the nipple piercings to work. I think I have all the required files (CBBE curvy, HDT system, XPMS skeleton, Assets and Expansion) and I've tried updating all of them. However, whatever I try the piercings float about 1/2" in front of the nipples. Physics seems to work, though. Anyone have any idea what I'm missing? Sorry for when this inevitably turns out to be incredibly trivial. Thanks!
tonytheg129 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Can anyone provide some insight on what to do about an issue I'm currently experiencing? When I equip devices onto NPCs via the "are you interested in restrains?" dialogue, nothing happens. They take whatever device I chose to put on them, it makes the equiping sound but nothing happens. The vibrate spell doesn't seem to work. I should add that under "Registered Animations" it always reverts to "NOT DONE." Equipment slots also stay at the disabled state and I am unable to edit them. Are you using the current version of Interactions? There were changes to some of the commands in earlier versions that would keep it from working properly. Yeah I made sure to update everything. Still doesn't seem to be working.

The CBBE BBP/TBBP options are ment to be used with the standard BBP/TBBP options provided with the BodySlide CBBE+ Advanced body config. Not any of the external HDT variants, all of which seem to change the shape and size of the breasts, and thus, does not line up right with the piercings. Don't ask me to walk you through the process though, as i do not use CBBE and honestly haven't a clue.
wren888 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Hi, Min. This is a great mod, as evidenced by all the subsequent mods based on it. From reading posts here, in DD Assets, and other related mods, I believe this is the proper place to post my difficulty. If not, I apologize and ask you to please point me in the right direction. I've begun having a problem since the last update of DD Assets, 2.8.2, and the last two updates of DD Integration, 2.8.1 and 2.8.2. The only Devious items that show up on my character are the face items, i.e., gag and blindfold, and the plugs. The chastity belt, bra, the harness, shoes, and armbinder register in the inventory normally, and as equipped, but are invisible on my character. With regard to the armbinder, my character's arms are correctly behind her back, but her hands and wrists are invisible, as one would expect in this situation. With regard to equipped shoes, my character's feet and ankles are invisble along with the shoes. Although the DD Assets collar is also invisible, the custom Captured Dreams collar appears. However, the custom Captured Dreams chastity belt is invisible. Trying to remove any of the visible or invisible devices yields the correct responses (how do you want to take it off? You try and can't, etc). When I updated only Integration from 2.8.0 to 2.8.1 or 2.8.2, not Assets from 2.8.0 to 2.8.2, everything appeared correctly on my character, just as was the case before with 2.8.0 of both Assets and Integration. The invisibility problem only occurs with Assets 2.8.2. Consequently, it seems to me something is going wrong in the communication between the new DD Assets mod and all versions of the DD Integration mods. I disabled the device hider feature by setting it to "none," so that's not the problem. I tried earlier saves, then a new game, with the same results. I also re-downloaded the new DD Assets, DD Integration, and DD Expansion mods. No change. I reinstalled FNIS and most of the Sexlab mods. No help. As I use HDT and havok, I tried various recommended skeletons, though I doubted that would have an effect. It didn't. The changelogs on the new updates for DD Integration sound inteteresting, so I look forward to getting this problem resolved. I hope you can help me. I've been trying for a while now to upload my papyrus log I got from starting a new game, but I can't figure out how to. Thank you. Edit: Okay, got it. Below is the papyrus file of the start of a new game through the point where I asked Skyrim Bound to equip my character with devious devices. My load order follows. Two things in this log: Firstly, you didn't save/reload upon starting your game (Thus, Integration hasn't finished initializing. Integration delays the majority of it's initialization until a reload, to avoid an initialization-failure bug which used to plague some users). As such, this log doesn't provide any useful information for troubleshooting. Secondly, you stack dumped twice. The only thing that I can think of off the top of my head that would cause your items-not-rendering issues, would be that the assets installer didn't correctly copy your meshes: Try copying them by hand, and see if that solves the issue. Oh, and be sure that you're not playing a male character. Thank you, Min, for taking the time to address my difficulty. I looked up "stack dump," and I think I understand what it refers to, but not the implications of it loading twice, apart from that being abnormal. As you suggested, I manually removed the DD Assets meshes and other files from the installer, compressed them, and put them into MO in place of what I had previously. I ran FNIS and Wrye Bash, then started a new game. Once I entered Helgen keep with Ralof, I saved and reloaded as you suggested. Then I waited a couple minutes to insure initialization of Integration had completed. I allowed Ralof to take off my character's game-given binds and activated Skyrim Bound. Again only the face devices and plugs rendered. Below is the papyrus log. In it, I see some errors toward the end, but don't know what mods or difficulties they refer to. I also see a lot of references to "_de_compatibility," which I also don't understand. Are these the cause of my trouble or something else? Can you tell me what I've done wrong and how to fix it? Thanks for helping me get your excellent mod working properly. There are a lot of errors about broken properties in this log (almost all of it is just that). Integration is starting at the end of the log but with all the other broken things this save is not looking good at all. Thank you, Min, Gameplayer, Veladarius, and others. I'm learning a lot from you guys. For example, I was previously led to believe a lot of errors in papyrus was normal. I'm now in the process of updating and reinstalling most of my mods. Afterwards, I plan to go through Helgen with simple mods only, and none that register on MCM apart from Sky UI. Perhaps by adding a few at a time thereafter, I can locate the ones that are causing errors, assuming they still do. Hopefully this will enable me to get devious devices to appear on my character. Since Helgen has some difficulty with a lot of complex mods, when exactly is the tenous Helgen period over? After gettng into the keep, or after exiting the cave? Thanks again, everyone. It really depends on how well your game is running, at least it is for me. Typically the only errors I see are where mods are checking for others and not finding them (which are ok). If I see other errors I start looking to fix them or remove the mod causing them (removing mods with a lot of scripts can require starting a new game). I start the game with my full set of mods running and have no issues (250 esm/esp's) and all of my mods finish their initialization on a new game within 2 minutes according to my papyrus logs. One thing I have found is mods such as the Unofficial patches and others that change a number of things such as quests should not be updated / installed during a game if at all possible. A lot of times they change properties of scripts but these will not change in your game unless that quest is stopped/started again and would leave it broken and it may not work at all. Try starting a new game and see if the items work, if they do that is a good sign that something you installed/uninstalled/updated is not working in the game you were playing. A save cleaner may work in fixing it but depending on the extent of the problem it may be a lost cause (especially if you see stack dump errors). Oh. I typically use unofficial updates as soon as I find them. Good to know they can cause trouble for quests. Also nice to know errors showing an inability to find other mods is okay. Whenever I update any mod, I use Savetool, 52363 on TesNexus, running FNIS and Wrye Bash afterwards, so that should help. The two papyrus logs I posted were from new games, started with all mods I'm using. I'm bad at figuring out from the papyrus log what mods are causing errors, but sometimes I'm lucky. It will take some time to update and reinstall all my mods and retry. I'm looking forward to fixing whatever is preventing most of the devious devices from rendering. They sound intriguing, and a lot of other mods I enjoy have updates that require them. Thanks again for your instruction.

cleversheep Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Well that was far simpler that I expected. For anyone else having the same problem, this is the process I used: Make sure you have the CBBE Curvy>BBP version of Assets installed Open Bodyslide Under 'Outfit/Body' select 'CBBE Body BBP' Under 'Preset' select 'CBBE' Hit 'Create Bodies' Presumably this works with whatever variant you want to use.
unmog Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Hmm, well~ strange problem, figured Id ask here to see if anyone knew. I read the last couple pages and dont think anyone else mentioned it, so at the least I could see if anyone else noticed this or already figured out what's wrong. Here goes~ So I updated my devious device assets, integration, expansion and the expansions patch. I then go into game and for some reason my blindfolds dont exactly work... I've tried the leather blindfold, the custom blindfold, and the ebonite blindfold [all the old ones I had] and for some reason when worn, it doesnt equip the blindfold. Instead it unequips the blindfold and creates a slave hood to wear instead. *scratches head* Is it something wrong with the "old" blindfolds or is it something wrong with the update? Ive tried reinstalling and that didnt seem to work... not sure what could cause that. My load order seems fine and it doesnt cause a crash, it just equips a hood instead of the blindfold. I tried add.item for different blindfolds, found one that wasnt scripted apparently. That one equips just fine, it just doesnt lock or add the blind effect. This didnt happen before I updated, so I don't know what could have happened to cause it. Some conflict with another mod? I haven't gotten to updating all of them yet, and am unsure if all of the other devious mods even have an update. I tried it with the new colored ones as well, same problem. It seems if I manually equip a blindfold I get a hood instead. Started a new character with Immerslave however and it seemed to work fine when it was equipped automatically by something else though, same blindfold. I removed it with a key, re-equipped it, wore a hood instead. So Im guessing cursed loot should also work fine, Ill test that more later after some rest. Everything else seems to work fine however, I just normally dont walk around blindfolded so it took me a little to notice. I havent quite figured out the new gag "mmph" options either, mmphing at people like 50 times [didnt count] didnt do anything. Though thats why I carry a key before trying new stuff out~ seems to work fine along with the gag mod overhaul though [even though the author says it isnt needed anymore] so I just used that. Nipple piercings work though, spent most of the time making sure everything aligned and such. Was happy with that and later noticed the blindfold thing, my work is never done it seems

I'll watch for <null form> and <none> on properties and see if I can identify the offending mod. I presume my stack dumping twice qualifies as a dump stack error? And a big one, apparently. Sequentlal loading, starting with the root mods, makes sense. I'll do that, look at the log, and lessen how many mods I load at a time as necessary. So far, the MCM menu looks fine. I guessed that they might put more strain on the engine, so I planned to load those after Helgen, or at least, after other mods have had a chance to initialize. You've helped me understand papyrus, and hopefully get Integration and other mods working properly. I appreciate it. Thank you.
alferjark Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I've been having the exact same problem for almost 4 weeks, no compatibility issues or anything of the sort, game loads up fine and everything is normal, but the quest never starts and now there's no MCM menu.
charles12 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I didn't read devious devices: chastity belt before speaking to Ugrab and starting the quest, now the options to create the items don't appear at the forge. What can I do?

What can I do? Well could reload. Or if you just need the book and dont mind using console commands, type help "devious devices" to get the books ID, and then player.additem to give yourself one.

I have had a good look at both threads, and your FAQ, but I just can't see anything specifically relevant to this query on either, or, if it does exist, I have just plain missed it TIA I've been using DD.Restrained and I haven't noticed a problem myself although as i also try and avoid getting gagged I've only used it a few times (took about five "Mmph!" to get unlocked last time from the gag) Some Problem like that happens to my Char after the latest update. I also had the originbal mod from zenetx installed, but all i got after sucessfully getting an NPC to listen to my gagged Char was another "Mmph" option. I deinstalled the original Mod after that and now al i can do is say "Mmph" over and over again. Any idea how to fix that, or does it just take some "Mmph's" until the NPC have starred enough at the bound girl in front of them to answer properly ?
Mud Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I can't seem to get NPCs to stay bound by armbinders or keep their mouths open when gagged when going through load doors. Is there supposed to be something reapplying the animations and such?

Does the latest version of Integration, which states that... 'Zenetx's Gags Overhaul has been adopted as the official behavior for gags, and has been merged in to Integration (Thanks Zenetx!).' ....result in any conflict at all with DD.Restrained, in respect of either dialogue options or functionality? I have had a good look at both threads, and your FAQ, but I just can't see anything specifically relevant to this query on either, or, if it does exist, I have just plain missed it TIA I've been using DD.Restrained and I haven't noticed a problem myself although as i also try and avoid getting gagged I've only used it a few times (took about five "Mmph!" to get unlocked last time from the gag) Some Problem like that happens to my Char after the latest update. FWIW, the DD Restrained mod still seems to work OK after updating to the latest version of Integration. I never installed the Zenetx mod, as I read somewhere that the two might not work too well together, as the 2 mods 'actions' were 'in competition' with each other I initially asked the question to try to elucidate whether or not incorporating the Zenetx 'behaviour' would be likely to introduce any conflicts. Haven't seen any so far, and NPCs react with the DD-Restrained response chain OK, so you always get the chance for some helpful person to remove DD items - or not, if they haven't a key/got out of bed on the wrong side/think they're being funny/are just being a swine While it's a bit elementary, and I don't mean to be insulting , you are standing 'close enough' to the NPCs you are trying to communicate with? They have to be in activation range. Just yelling 'glubaglub' into thin air won't do anything LOL
Qbeez999 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 The quest won't start for me. I read the book devious devices: chastity belts and nothing happened. Urag had no dialogue option about it either.

Are you already wearing a chastity belt/harness? The quest will only start if you're not wearing one.

Zederia Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 @Min: I tested the same situation on an orc (the gag one. cleaned out scripts, etc.) and the orc had no issues, doing the same with an argonian caused issues too. it is most likely a bug regarding beast races, specifically
Qbeez999 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Started quest Zed is bugged I talked to him but the quest doesn't progress and he only says things like "need something?" etc
Coopervane Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Are you already wearing a chastity belt/harness? The quest will only start if you're not wearing one. I actually think it fails on any worn DD item, not just belts and harnesses.
Kawauso Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Are there any plugs that don't fall if you're not wearing a chastity belt ? "Cuz I sometimes want the plugs but not the belt.
Content Consumer Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Would it be possible to stop plugs/etc from activating when I'm in combat? I like the effects and triggers of the mod normally, but when in combat, and a high-arousal event triggers, enemies do not attack me (which is good) but usually I'm not trying to fight back, I'm trying to run away. It stops me from running while the animation plays, giving enemies time to catch up to me, thus making my attempt at running away useless. Umm... now that I think about it, I'm not even sure if this is a DD thing, a Sexlab thing, or even possibly an Arousal thing... and even if it is a DD issue, I'm not sure this is the right DD mod to ask this in... if I've asked this question/request in the wrong thread, can someone direct me to the correct thread?
