This is a great mod, as evidenced by all the subsequent mods based on it.  From reading posts here, in DD Assets, and other related mods, I believe this is the proper place to post my difficulty. If not, I apologize and ask you to please point me in the right direction.  I've begun having a problem since the last update of DD Assets, 2.8.2,  and the last two updates of DD Integration, 2.8.1 and 2.8.2. The only Devious items that show up on my character are the face items, i.e., gag and blindfold, and the plugs. The chastity belt, bra, the harness, shoes, and armbinder register in the inventory normally, and as equipped, but are invisible on my character. With regard to the armbinder, my character's arms are correctly behind her back, but her hands and wrists are invisible, as one would expect in this situation. With regard to equipped shoes, my character's feet and ankles are invisble along with the shoes. Although the DD Assets collar is also invisible, the custom Captured Dreams collar appears. However, the custom Captured Dreams chastity belt is invisible. Trying to remove any of the visible or invisible devices yields the correct responses (how do you want to take it off? You try and can't, etc).  When I updated only Integration from 2.8.0 to 2.8.1 or 2.8.2, not Assets from 2.8.0 to 2.8.2, everything appeared correctly on my character, just as was the case before with 2.8.0 of both Assets and Integration. The invisibility problem only occurs with Assets 2.8.2. Consequently, it seems to me something is going wrong in the communication between the new DD Assets mod and all versions of the DD Integration mods. I disabled the device hider feature by setting it to "none," so that's not the problem.  I tried earlier saves, then a new game, with the same results. I also re-downloaded the new DD Assets, DD Integration, and DD Expansion mods. No change. I reinstalled FNIS and most of the Sexlab mods. No help. Integration is starting at the end of the log but with all the other broken things this save is not looking good at all.
Gameplayer Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Oh wow, uh don't start so many mods when your in Helgon.  Actually your supposed to leave Helgon outright then start your mods.  Unless the mod instructs you to install and play through Helgon.  Most of the time through having a lot of mods active or running for the Helgon Start is asking for troubles.  Sorry I just thought that was common knowledge.  It was pretty much the same for FO3, you were not actually suppose to start a ton of mods. Like no mods then get outta the vault.

Isn't that common knowledge? /sarcasm  More seriously: both FO:NV and TESV starts where half baked and half tested... until you get to your first semi-permanent "home", don't trust the system to be able to handle much deviation from the "official rails" without going apeshit on you.

One of my recent games testing items I made it to level 20 before restarting (removed some script heavy mods) but I never did go to Helgen.

I discovered this place about a week ago and have since been having an enormously fun time playing with new characters and this mod is by far my favorite. I have just one issue that I seriously cannot figure out. I have immersive first person installed (along with the DD-expansion), and while I see that there's an option in the dd mcm menu for IFP, I'm still having an issue with it. Specifically, while in first person mode, IFP activated, and with a blindfold equipped, the blindfold effect will stop being shown if I move in any direction other than backwards. As soon as I move in any other direction the blindfold effect will disappear, and my character will be locked in place as though I had switched to third person mode. I'm stumped. I went through almost every page in this thread and was unable to find anyone else reporting my problem, so I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong that everyone else takes for granted. As I said, I'm new here so I have no idea what to do. I understand that you'll require a log file in order to help, but I'm unsure how to go about obtaining one. If you could help me out, I would definitely appreciate it. Â Edit: Once the blindfold effect disappears and I'm stuck in place, if I stare up at the sky I can VAGUELY see what appears to be a faint thumbprint, a duck of some sort, and a cartoon-skeleton (all of which are faint and nearly transparent). If you could help me out, I would definitely appreciate it.  IFP when I used it basically places your camera on the third person head. So your going to have to checkmark the IFP option in DDi  If you've done that and are having the camara poke though the blindfold...It may be that your setting of the camara's position is too far forward I guess.  I stopped using IFP but never had an issue with it with DDi.  My issue was motion sickness.  I switched to "Skyrim Enhanced Camera" which makes 1st person include the body in via a clever SKSE tweak. The whole mod is all of some odd Kilobytes its tiny in comparison.Â

I am using IFP 1.9 and I haven't had these issues... but I have had some issues, and IFP is notoriously finnicky so I am not surprised. So far, however, IFP issues have gone away with a mod reset. What's your setup? (Fr and It fluent if En not first language, feel free to ask)
Mud Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 When Integration initializes after the save and load, it seems to be equipping a nameless item that I cannot get rid of, and it seemed to have been making Slaverun report me as wearing clothing for a while, somehow. Whether or not that was being caused by it, what is that thing? I thought it was the Device Hider, but even when setting that to no slot, it still shows up?

He is just oggling there and doesn't respond. I tried to disable/enable him but then i don't get the dialogues option yet the pointer keeps pointing at him. Can somebody tell what stage this is so that i can use this in the console or does someone have a solution for it?  edit: from looking at the post above me it appears that being a male could be one of the issues although i highly doubt it.  If you don't see any dialogue once the scene starts make sure you have Fus Ro D'oh installed and it is working correctly. Pretty much any mod with unvoiced dialogue requires this to work properly.   Nevermind: i fixed it already. I moved forward in time by 2 hours and then he spoke again. Probably papyrus was struggling with this for some reason. Although the only really script heavy mods are the main DD mods (assets and integration), Zaz and sexlab. But my laptop could run 140 mods in the past at a pretty good speed. It might be because of my load order too ofcourse.  But anyway thanks for the reply. Btw most devices show normally but the ones from the expantion pack don't which is strange.

DD's IFP option is checked but I have made a few changes from the default profile (profile 15) in the ifp MCM. I set the back/forward camera position to 10, character-turns-where-you-look to off, and disable-head-tracking is checked. I set show-player-head to off and increased the move-head-forward-when-looking-up/down to 175.  I am using IFP 1.9 and I haven't had these issues... but I have had some issues, and IFP is notoriously finnicky so I am not surprised. So far, however, IFP issues have gone away with a mod reset. What's your setup? (Fr and It fluent if En not first language, feel free to ask) I'll try resetting the mod and see if that works.
rhino_4 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I figured out that the ifp profile was switching away from profile 15 when I ran forward. Didn't even know it could do that, haha. I disabled that profile (profile 12) and that fixed it. Funny thing is that now I have a new bug lol. The DD blindfold effect will only show the DD-leeches+third-person effect (everything blurry in 1st person) even with the setting set to DD-blindfold. AND it allows me to move while in third-person (while no blindfold effect is present). I've experimented with it for a few hours now and have been unable to fix the issue.

I'm learning a lot from you guys. For example, I was previously led to believe a lot of errors in papyrus was normal.  I'm now in the process of updating and reinstalling most of my mods. Afterwards, I plan to go through Helgen with simple mods only, and none that register on MCM apart from Sky UI. Perhaps by adding a few at a time thereafter, I can locate the ones that are causing errors, assuming they still do. Hopefully this will enable me to get devious devices to appear on my character.  Since Helgen has some difficulty with a lot of complex mods, when exactly is the tenous Helgen period over? Typically the only errors I see are where mods are checking for others and not finding them (which are ok). If I see other errors I start looking to fix them or remove the mod causing them (removing mods with a lot of scripts can require starting a new game). I start the game with my full set of mods running and have no issues (250 esm/esp's) and all of my mods finish their initialization on a new game within 2 minutes according to my papyrus logs.  One thing I have found is mods such as the Unofficial patches and others that change a number of things such as quests should not be updated / installed during a game if at all possible. A lot of times they change properties of scripts but these will not change in your game unless that quest is stopped/started again and would leave it broken and it may not work at all.  Try starting a new game and see if the items work, if they do that is a good sign that something you installed/uninstalled/updated is not working in the game you were playing. A save cleaner may work in fixing it but depending on the extent of the problem it may be a lost cause (especially if you see stack dump errors).

Â When I equip devices onto NPCs via the "are you interested in restrains?" dialogue, nothing happens. They take whatever device I chose to put on them, it makes the equiping sound but nothing happens. The vibrate spell doesn't seem to work. I should add that under "Registered Animations" it always reverts to "NOT DONE." Equipment slots also stay at the disabled state and I am unable to edit them.

Â Are you using the current version of Interactions? There were changes to some of the commands in earlier versions that would keep it from working properly.

Just a note on the animations: I believe the option is to re-register animations. Doing that once is all you need. The next time you open the MCM it will say "not done" again, but that's just because you haven't re-registered them again, and you shouldn't need to.
pinky6225 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 @Min  Some of us are rather elderly,  so please be patient with me if this has been asked before.  Does the latest version of Integration, which states that...  'Zenetx's Gags Overhaul has been adopted as the official behavior for gags, and has been merged in to Integration (Thanks Zenetx!).'  ....result in any conflict at all with DD.Restrained, in respect of either dialogue options or functionality?  I have had a good look at both threads, and your FAQ, but I just can't see anything specifically relevant to this query on either, or, if it does exist, I have just plain missed it  TIA  I've been using DD.Restrained and I haven't noticed a problem myself although as i also try and avoid getting gagged I've only used it a few times (took about five "Mmph!" to get unlocked last time from the gag) Â
