well, thank you for helping anyway.

 

I guess I should stop uninstalling and reinstalling things when they don't work, it's my default method of trying to fix things before bothering any of the developers.

 

I'll try a save cleaner, and if that doesn't work I suppose I'd have to move on.

 

Indeed. While that was a fine approach for Oblivion, Skyrim doesn't take so kindly to that sort of thing. (Running scripts are embedded in your saves; Uninstalling leaves those scripts embedded, which error / destroy your save).

I guess they thought it would address an issue where scripts would reinitialize sometimes. But embedding them was a stupid idea..

Hmm but they are the only thing that is in one version but not the other.  When I remove them I CTD on save.  I'll get the papyrus log and post it.  I would add that I am on a relatively new game and that I have NEVER uninstalled any mods since I restarted.  I can pinpoint this CTD on save 100% on upgrading from 281 to 282.  Repeatedly I have removed 281 and I CTD.  When I resinstall those files that the game is not seeing I don't.  I can also tell you that my save has no orphaned scripts.

no, the FNIS is not the issue. I did not rerun FNIIS updating from 2.8.0 to 2.8.2.

 

oh.. this may work:

 

you have an older save in like a start area?

load that, then load your save from it.

 

I have an issue sometimes I have 0 clue what causes it, but I load my LaL save, let that start up completely, then load my current save and it loads perfectly fine. However, if I load the current save directly it CTDs

This was not CTDing trying to load it was CTDing when I tried to save the game.  I could run around for 30 minutes just fine but  when I went to save it would CTD.  I just saved in a cave fine though with the other junk removed.  It may be that some scripts are hanging in the upgrade process.  I have had trouble in the past with Immersive beds like this and it turned out that there was nothing wrong with immersive beds the scripts were just hanging.  So who knows.  I think everything I have been trying is just a placebo and it is just managing to work itself out.

Love the addition of zenet-Gagquest!  I've been using it for quite some time.  With your addition I've run into this:  I get the "Mmpf!" conversation starter but that's it - the npc doesn't say "Let's see if i can understand you", all I can click on is 'Mmpf!'.  Will reinstall zenet's, put it at the bottom of load order and see what happens.

 

Edit - reinstalling zenet's and putting it at the bottom of my load order fixed it.  Not to say something else in my load order is messing it up, but if this happens to you, this fix should work.

I am looking for some insight on the Forbidden Tome Quest.

On my old character, I remember Urag stating Hold still, then my PC was stripped and suspended. The quest ran to completion successfully.

On my new character, with a correct new Sexlab, Assets and Integration, I get assigned the Zed portion of the quest maybe one time in ten.

And each attempt takes a long time...

After the big dialog box, Urag makes his comment about the belt fitting well, then he just goes back to his normal idle. No text after fitting well.

The Quest still just says talk to Urag, but he has no relevant menu options.

On the successful Quest assignment (the one time in ten), so far my third possible location has always been in Solstein, which I am not willing to start.

Also, my character is no longer stripped and suspended. The camera switches to third person, and she remains dressed while Urag does his thing.

All other Sexlab animations seem to work OK, and I completed the Sergius Quest.

No Papyrus errors in log, and nothing in Sexlab console debugging.

Any ideas? I poked around in the Creation Kit, but I don't know enough to understand your scenes. Wish I did...

Is it safe to uninstall gag overhaul and upgrade to 2.8.2? Or I should just let gag overhaul overwrite DDi 2.8.2?

 

 

I did the following test:
 
- Had a (DD Integration 2.8.1) + (zenetx DD Gags Mod Overhaul 1.1) Savegame
- Removed zenetx DD Gags Mod
- Upgraded DD Integration to 2.8.2 following Min's instructions.
- Loaded previous savegame.
- Chose Yes to continue loading on the content no longer present warning.
 
And everything worked like a charm.
 

You can type in console:

 

stopquest zadgagquest

startquest zadgagquest

 

just to be sure.

I scanned the topic a bit, but I didn't notice something exactly like what I am experiencing right now.

 

1) load game. have armbinder in inventory. it shows as equipped, but is not rendered and player can act normal.

2) unequip, nothing happens other than the ui marks it unequipped.

3) quick save.

4) quick load.

5) crash to desktop.

 

so then messed around more.

 

1) same as above.

2) same as above.

3) re-equip armbinder.

4) quick save

5) quick load

6) success.

 

and then messed around more.

 

1) same as above.

2) same as above.

3) re-equip armbinder

4) remove armbinder

5) quick save.

6) quick load.

7) crash to desktop.

 

And there is nothing useful in the log at all. Everything is just normal missing esp's from the checks mods are doing. If I interact with this armbinder in my inventory at all, the game crashes next time i load. I attempted removeitem, which removed it from my inventory, but then also forced it to equip. taking it off after that also resulted in ctd on next load.

 

now this armbinder in my inventory, i believe it is one i had on an NPC for a while, but then when i got annoyed at them sprinting and breaking the animation i took it off of them with a restraints key.

I seem to have fixed my issues with AC, but did notice something that's possibly linked to DDi. Whilst doing Sergius experiment I had arousal capped and since I also had Cursed Loot installed, and was exploring a bit, I got a bunch of items on me. Gag quest worked fine. However, at one point I took a look at my affects and noticed something like: highheelseffect. I get that the piercings show as affects, but that shouldn't, should it? Although it's possible it's from Cursed Loot or Deviously Helpless or something else that also uses the items with possibly their own script. The affect did disappear once I removed them. Just thought I'd check.

I love these mods have been using them for quite awhile now.... My recent problem started when I screwed up a few texture for characters so I uninstalled skyrim and all my local files down to the last byte. I have only recently reinstalled it to start playing from scratch I installed a lot of the devious devices mods and a few body mods and that is about it. The problem is when a chastity belt is equipped to my character it is not visible and sometimes a chastity bra will vanish while equipped I have installed all mods correctly I have even went as far as completely removing everything to do with skyrim yet again and reinstalling it all still same situation. I have verified the game cache multiple times it keeps saying one file is missing and will be acquired and it is only 752 bytes... No I have not posted a papyrus log because apparently my skyrim is not logging one.

Thanks for replying, but everything is working except that one quest and I have moved on. The devices all work great.

I used one of my rare saves where the Zed portion of the quest was assigned and just dealt with the objective being in Solstheim.

Zed is outside the locked, flooded ruin (fortunately), and I used the console to add the odd part from there. Rest of Quest ran fine.

Most important to me, everything in Captured Dreams is working.

I am still curious though if Urag is supposed to strip and suspend the PC in that initial encounter.

Nothing in Integration uses the high heels scripts. Items from Expansion and Captured Dreams do, though.

Yes, the PC should be stripped and suspended for that scene.

First I have to say, amazing mode. Thank you all that have worked on this.

 

I do have 1 suggestion though when it comes to some of the soulgem attachment vibration events to make it more visual and hard to miss. What if it started to glow and/or pulse? I'm thinking an effect that would sit in the general area so that you can see the glow even if the item isn't showing. Kind of like it's glowing through your body/armor.

 

Also, maybe for some of the more profound effects add a little bit of a blur? Like you're having difficulty focusing?

ich bin stinksauer. richtig sauer. es funktioniert doch schon wieder nichts in diesem mod.  nicht mal mehr die struggle Animationen laufen durch, hören nach einer halben sekunde auf. lächerlich wie das aussieht.- dann die gemischten rot weiss schwarzen teile. komplett kann man über das aussehen von weiss und rot vielleicht diskutieren, einzeln vermischt aber ganz bestimmt nicht. völliger mist ist das.

und nun kommt mir nicht wieder mit ladeorder fnis und so einen noobkrams. die Animationen laufen nicht von Integration selber.

 

von den pierced nipüples istt nichts zu sehen, aber sie machen die bbp bodyslide2 brüste kaputt, es ist nicht zu fassen.

 

so ist das alles wie immer unbrauchbar. hinzu kommt dann noch der frust von SD, der komplett versagt. man sollte aufhören mit diesem krams, endgültig. ihr kriegts da doch nichts ordentlichen zum laufen.
