Love that Zenetx' mod got integrated, it became a must have for me anyway, and now I don't have to worry about cross-compatibilty when DDi upgrades :)

  • Gags containing the zbfEffectOpenMouth or zbfAnimMouth001 keywords will no longer apply the open mouth expression to actors.

Won't that cause face to clip through gag now?

Nope. Gags containing those keywords have their expressions applied by the Zaz Animation Pack. Before, both systems were applying expressions to gags with such keywords (Such as Yuni's new gags), causing undesirable behavior.

the mod still won't work for me.

it does say it has initialized, but none of the scripts seem to run (at least that's what someone here told me was wrong)

I was advised to check out the papyrus logs, as one of the mods I run must be conflicting, but I'm not sure I checked the right log. which one should it be and where can I find it?

I may need some help here.

  1. Start a new game, using Integration 2.8.2
  2. Save your game.
  3. Reload your game.
  4. Verify that you're still having issues.
  5. Upload a copy of your Papyrus.0.log, and I'll take a look.

okay, I did as you suggested, and for some mysterious reason the mod actually does work in a new game.

I'm under the impression this means I did install it correctly, but it does raise the question as to why it doesn't work in my "main" save file?

did I by any chance do something stupid that prevents the mod from functioning properly, and if so: how do I undo it?

and in unrelated news, where would one find this mysterious papyrus log? I've been digging in my game files, and in the Skyrim folder under "my games", but I can't for the life of me figure out where it is. I have googled the problem, but all I found were ridiculous amounts of threads of people with ricidulous amounts of problems, but all seemed to already know where the log file was.

I guess I was being completely ignored so I'll ask again.  This does not seem to be upgradable from 281 to 282.  If I try to upgrade it causes CTD on save.  So are there any upgrade instructions?

Update: Hmm I went back and re-read this and well sorry I was having a bad day.  My dog ran out into the street and almost got hit by a car.  Hope I didn't offend anyone.

All I have ever done is install it over the last version and it has always worked. Look in your papyrus log for errors that may be causing the issue, it may not necessarily be Integration that is the root cause.

This is from the SexLab troubleshooting page here:

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/22241-sexlab-support-troubleshooting-guide-read-me-before-posting/?p=549438

The debug log is disabled by default, in order to enable it, open your Skyrim.ini file, located in /My Documents/My Games/Skyrim/

Add/edit the following to this file:

[Papyrus]

fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0

bEnableLogging=1

bEnableTrace=1

bLoadDebugInformation=1

If the any of the above lines do not exist, add it. If it already exists, modify the matching line to reflect the above settings. All of the settings should be under the [Papyrus] header, and below no other.

Save your changes to Skyrim.ini and load your your game, quickly attempt to replicate the issue you have with SexLab, and quit the game.

Your debug log files will now be located in the folder My Documents/My Games/Skyrim/Logs/Script/, the file Papyrus.0.log will always contain the log for the LAST time you opened Skyrim.

Just an extra note: I can't remember off the top of my head, but your skyrim.ini file might not be where this guide says it is if you use Mod Organizer. It might be in your MO profile folder instead.

In versions prior to 2.8.2, the mod would suspend during initialization for some users. One of the main focuses of 2.8.2 was attempting to eliminate all potential causes of this. I can't be completely sure that the problem is solved (As it never occurred for me), though I can't think of anything else immediately that would cause it to recur.

The very first sentence in the Opening Post links to upgrade instructions for recent updates. There's no reason that the upgrade would be causing CTD's on saves. Your problem likely lies elsewhere. Feel free to post a copy of your Papyrus.0.log, though.

So it seems I was crashing because the new version was not initializing.  The message was not popping up.  I installed the 282 on top of 281 without uninstalling 281 and it initialized.  Once that happened I was able to save with no problems and uninstall 281.  This leads me to the question as to whether there may be an issue with my load order.

LOOT doesn't account for sexlab mods. but I would (personally) would try disabling the regulations mod and the ftm and see if it still crashes

I seemed to have some animation issues at first using Aroused Creatures. Possibly linked to these new phantom animations somehow. I'll just repost in more detail in that thread.

I haven't used the Zenet gag quest mod before so I wouldn't know, but the DDi MCM menu shows no options for that, is that intentional?

EDIT: also looked at a new save with a save cleaner, and am seeing about two dozen of these active instances: default2StateActivator

Which weren't there with the 2.8.1 version.

here's the thing: it did initialize (or at least it mentions it did), but it still doesn't work. however, though the MCM for DD doesn't show up, it does mention the mod under Zaz animation's mcm menu (it's registered).

also, thanks for helping me out, I really appreciate it.

I am still getting CTDs when I go outside.  So it has not been fixed I can save were I am but I cannot leave.

I am going to try to sleep for three days and see if that helps (update: did not help)

I should add that I have run into this before with SD.

DD cannot cause crashes during area transitions. Your issue is likely unrelated.

PS: Never uninstall mods mid-playthrough. You likely destroyed your save by doing so.

No MCM options are necessary for the gag behavior overhaul.

it took me a while, but I finally managed to get me a log file. I'd be really grateful if anyone could take a look at it.

I already explained what happened to you. The MCM menu failing to appear is the indicator that the mod suspended during initialization. This is fixed by 2.8.2 (Though in a game where this already occurred, your only recourse is to try your luck with a save-cleaner).

EDIT: Furthermore, glancing over your logfile it looks like you attempted (Repeatedly?) to uninstall / reinstall on the same save. This save is hosed, short of miraculous save-cleaning.

EDIT2: Whatever mod "aasexscript.psc" is from is throwing tons of errors, as well. Looks like you probably uninstalled it at some point? I'd definitely just commit this save to the earth. This sort of behavior is probably what caused the suspension in the first place...

I figure out that if these are included in SKSE\Plugins in 281 but not in 282 and when removed at least for me cause CTD on save:

DeviousDevices.lib
DeviousDevices.pdb
DeviousDevices.exp
DeviousDevices.ilk

You're completely and totally mistaken. Those files were development files that were accidentally included in the last build. They have literally no impact on your game.

If it works in a new game (But not in your current game), then you've damaged your save (Likely due to irresponsible mod uninstallation). Like I said earlier, post a copy of your Papyrus.0.log if you want help troubleshooting (Though, the issue is almost certainly unrelated to the update, as I said).

well, thank you for helping anyway.

I guess I should stop uninstalling and reinstalling things when they don't work, it's my default method of trying to fix things before bothering any of the developers.

I'll try a save cleaner, and if that doesn't work I suppose I'd have to move on.

.lib - library file

.pdb - Project database

.exp - (don't remeber what it is for)

.ilk - linking file

All of these are used in Visual Studio, and has NOTHING to do with Skyrim. Skyrim does not even see them
