Arund Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 I don't want to sound rude but mod makers have limited control, for example Shaken stole other authors' works and claims they are his own and some modders still want to bring their mods to his site, another example is Skyrim workshop which had a large base of stolen mods, which made the mod author quit because he couldn't beat the thieves and yes, I'm talking about XiNAVRO and I'm not starting with illegal uploads to Russian sites. This is the reality of being a modder Mr. Wolfstorm321, so I can understand why mod makers want to have control / rights over their work. But at the same time, I disagree with their methods of blaming mod users and not solving the "bad apples" problem on their side. The fault lies on both sides (mod users and mod authors), but we are still in the same boat.

Guest Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 The process to remove them is pretty painless, email them, they wait a few days and message you on the site, do a quick security check and done, I didnt have anything significant there anyways, and would never just pull my mods in spite because that would hurt the player. In the end I would just rather give Loverslab what little traffic my mods generate instead of nexus.

If it did, a single .wabbajack file would be in the gigabytes, yet a relatively large one (TPF), is only 80MB. (164MB when decompresssed) Point to me EXACTLY which WJ file INCLUDES mods that are bundled (NOT downloaded via an API for LoversLab, The Nexus, etc), that are also NOT made by the modlist author SPECIFICALLY for that modlist. Redistributing MUST imply it is bundled. Using an API does not count as redistributing.
