Zaz Animation Pack V7.0 [2017-05-16]

i have the following question, i tried to install your new version 5.52 with SL 1.39b and i get: SL version too old. is there a way to get 5.52 run with SL 1.39b? after having too much issues or no more working problems, affecting several LL-mods i use, with SL 1.51 , i am now back to SL 1.39b, where all mods run smoothly. would real like your new feats on this older SL version working.

I also have the same problem for Zaz 5.52 SexLab 1.39b is "version too old" :(

 

for the moment I install Zaz 5.51 version, I hope that the Zaz 5.52 is made ​​compatible with SexLab 1.39b

I've been running SKSE 1.7 for a while now and see it going to full release soon...

Also, have not had any problems with it.. 

 

Why not wait until you can upgrade it all? 

 

I would suggest staying with SL 1.39, Zaz 5.1 and behind SKSE 1.6.32.    

 

If you want the advanced features and new animations... upgrade...

 

That is a pain having to upgrade, not so much SexLab, but all the many other related mod, when you have 70 saves and different characters created, do everything according to the rules for bailouts clean, is an annoying work ... I think the problem are scripts from previous versions that can remain active, in its own rescue. :-/

 

After all this time, I do not understand why no one has thought to create intelligent utlity to manage, install and uninstall automated, clean all the mods for SexLab, rimouvendo and automatically cleaning all traces of the old mod from bailouts, attrverso a scan, without having to make the long drawn by hand, type in the console, disable, save, quit, reload, save, quit, etc. .. do it 50, 60, 70 times is a firm estenuantei, you go completely the desire to upgrade, I do not know if I you understand ? :(

The problem is that a good save cleaning solution would have to have been built in from the start in vanilla skyrim. To properly manage the save files all the scripts and other cruft that get into the save file would need to be tagged with the mod that caused them to exist in the first place. Ideally with version information, and then have all mods include code to tell the system how to upgrade a script saved in the save game when the originating script in the mod is updated. If Bethesda had baked all that into the game from the start, maintaining clean saves would be trivial, at least for the mods that have proper upgrade coding.

 

But given what we do have, all the script cleaners can do is guess which scripts go with which mods, and nuke the ones that it can't find a home for. The scripts that have old states that don't match up with an upgraded mod version are pretty much an insoluble problem. To even recognize that a script has a version mismatch with the mod, the cleaning program needs to be able to understand the original copy in the mod. Not simply execute, actually understand as in be able to compare the existing script state with the range of possibilities for the master script, and recognize that the script will not properly handle the old state saved and figure out a way to migrate the state to a valid state. If someone solves that problem, they won't be releasing the uber skyrim save game cleaner. They will be launching their own AI company and buying Bethesda in a couple of years with the loose change they will now have in their couch. :D

I've been using SKSE for a while now and it seems rock solid and the memory management on it (setup in the ini file) has improved stability dramtically (I run around 70+ mods and was playing over most of last weekend and had just one CTD which is about the same as if I was playing vanilla Skyrim).

 

The main reason for not updating though is that a lot of mods won't work with it yet. Once DD, XPO, Defeat etc are updated then I'll look at updating SL

BOSS says that I have installed a total of 218 mods, not to mention the dozens and dozens of heavy HD (2K / 4K) texture mods, and other that are not detected, nor counted by BOSS, and latest HRK ENB v4.01 (enb 2.52), set to maximum except the DOF, the lens and the sungalere, is off, the everything is at maximum,

 

the fluidity is more decreased compared to the old Project ENB v0.119 (Realistic vers.) this old ENB vwas run st 50/60fps, the new HRK ENB max setting run at 25/50fps, but the new is more stable I have less crashes of the old version, which I often crashed when loading and often the presence of sites with heavy graphics mod for new locations.

 

think that until yesterday, I still have installed the old version 1.24 of SexLab..

 

then for a while the new 1.50 I can wait, I will install it as soon as we Firms will be all the mods that interest me are compatible, in the meantime, will be further improved, enriched and optimized; in the meantime, will the final version of SKSE 1.7 stable, and probably also the new BOSS 3.0

I have the v054 for a secondary setup (as I'm studying how Prison Overhaul works) but I don't know if the mod's creators would allow me to upload it.

 

Perhaps Xaz could upload it as an old version, at least until Prison Overhaul is updated to work with v5.5+?

would you be able to give me a file list from your version? I found it crammed in a repack, and don't want to miss any files.

I just experienced first CTD in Zaz bound lesbian animation. Have SL 1.52 and the latest Zaz animation pack (2013-04-21). Not sure that this is related to your mod directly or it SL's area, but since it's a Zaz animation, I thought I should report it here.

 

Note: never had any problem with any of Zaz animations in 1.39. Should I do something or just leave it until next fix? (Gee, don't let it sound as a criticism since it is not). :)

At first i thought it was sexlab defeat causing this bug but even after uninstalling sexlab defeat and have zaz 5.52 i get a problem at the start of the game where suddenly player loses control of character then i need to use enableplayercontrols to be able to move again. i was testing the new sexlab version and needed the latest zaz for that version.

 

Has anyone seen this bug what is causing the bug ??

Crap, I can't figure this out and now I'm stuck:

 

I create an idle marker with 1 (or more) idles from Zaz and have my actors use it while sandboxing. Why do they get "stuck" with that idle afterwards? I mean, from then on they walk (glide) around in the same pose they had when using the idle. If they go to another Zaz idle they take that new position and they get stuck with that one too.

 

The vanilla idle markers somehow tell the NPC to resume the normal walking animation after ending the idle. I can't make this happen with Zaz idles.

 

Is there something I am doing wrong? Could you give me a hint or point me to a documentation about this?

 

Or is there no way to have this functionality and I should be looking into scripting the behavior I want?

 

 

Edit: I have written a script that has the actors assume the Zaz position I want and then stay in place until I dismiss them. But I'd like to have them sandboxing and playing some of the Zaz idles on their own as well, so I'd like to be able to use idle markers and idles within their packages.

 

Edit 2: I am going to turn my idle markers into furniture objects (I found some instructions for Fallout, I hope it's the same procedure for Skyrim). I think this will do the trick. But I am still curious as to why this is happening. Plus, the idle markers are superior for my needs because they can play multiple animations randomly.

Zaz won't be backing SexLab version. It's not possible to be compatible with several sets of changes in SexLab.

I've been running SKSE 1.7 for a while now and see it going to full release soon...

Also, have not had any problems with it.. 

 

Why not wait until you can upgrade it all? 

 

I would suggest staying with SL 1.39, Zaz 5.1 and behind SKSE 1.6.32.    

 

If you want the advanced features and new animations... upgrade...

 

That is a pain having to upgrade, not so much SexLab, but all the many other related mod, when you have 70 saves and different characters created, do everything according to the rules for bailouts clean, is an annoying work ... I think the problem are scripts from previous versions that can remain active, in its own rescue. :-/

 

After all this time, I do not understand why no one has thought to create intelligent utlity to manage, install and uninstall automated, clean all the mods for SexLab, rimouvendo and automatically cleaning all traces of the old mod from bailouts, attrverso a scan, without having to make the long drawn by hand, type in the console, disable, save, quit, reload, save, quit, etc. .. do it 50, 60, 70 times is a firm estenuantei, you go completely the desire to upgrade, I do not know if I you understand ? :(

 

I just install the new versions, and that works fine. From time to time I clean out leftover mods with save game cleaners.

 

Also, don't upgrade mods unless you have to or want features from them.

Hi there. does anyone have a copy of V054 they wouldn't mind sharing? I'm annoyed that Prison Overhaul is broken with these versions =.=

Prison Overhaul works fine with 5.51, but not with 5.4. There are features in 5.4 that Prison Overhaul needs, and without those the mod will break.

I have the v054 for a secondary setup (as I'm studying how Prison Overhaul works) but I don't know if the mod's creators would allow me to upload it.

 

Perhaps Xaz could upload it as an old version, at least until Prison Overhaul is updated to work with v5.5+?

Prison Overhaul works _only_ with 5.51.

I am very interested in a solution too because using idle markers and package idles is easy and elegant - a way better than controlling everything via scripts.

To the comments Above , I really wanted to make a Dummy invisible  Idle Marker as a furniture Object , this  really proves useful . So whilst the actors are in default pose in the dummy furniture , Mod Authors can use the sendanimationevent via a script  With FNIS I think it can maybe work .

 

I still haven't received my Board yet but in time i think i may make one

Xaz, sorry, I give up, I can't figure it out. I spent several days creating new idle markers, new furniture, new animation roots, new ActorActions, trying to trick the game into sending other AnimationEvents... nothing. Also, I have no experience with animations so I don't think I'm the right person to crack this mystery!

This is not a solution, it's rather a workaround but here is what I did...
 
I simply put a small trigger on the idle marker. It has a script with an OnTriggerLeave function that will reset the actor's animation when he/she leaves the idle marker. Also, you can have IF checks to make sure the actor has specific attributes (e.g. package, faction etc) so that you minimize the chance of it firing on the wrong actor. I am currently experimenting to find the smallest size this trigger can have while reliably detecting the actor has left the marker.
 
I am sure you know all this but I didn't so I re-invented the wheel and discovered that I can use OnAnimationEvent to receive the "IdleStop" event. This can be used for idles started without an idle marker (where you can't place a trigger). RegisterForAnimationEvent for the "IdleStop" event and when the actor receives it reset its idle and UnregisterForAnimationEvent. The trick is to know when to Register: if the actor is playing idles via a package, you can't do it. But if you have them play an idle via script (or via a furniture, read Zaz's comment below), then you can use this to un-stuck them when they move.
 
Edit: Unfortunately, an actor playing a Zaz idle does not fire the "idleStop" event when they move. So, the above method does not work in this setting.

Yes, definitely. A furniture can couple the OnActivation event with the RegisterForAnimationEvent and then we'll be able to use that method to reset the idles. However, it's not possible to play multiple animations in a furniture, is it? Which is a shame, because it's the only drawback I can find compared to the idle markers.
