I have a question / feature request about the animations. How do I make a victim using a ZaZ furniture to react realistically when it's punished? I mean, usually we expect the victim to twitch or move convulsively when it's hit by a crop or a whip. I know we have some nice struggling animations, but I wish we also have such of them that can be expected upon an impact.

 

Do you have a plan to add such animations in future? And if not, how much would it be difficult to make one from the existing animations?

 

By the way, I can't wait for the drooling feature. Thanks! :)

ZaZ has looked more at timing and animations than I have. I'm pretty sure that the "right" way to do it is by using paired animations. I think all resources are there, so could be easy to do....

Curious about whether there's a way to trigger a sex animation for the one where the victim is suspended by hands and feet in the air? Fairly new to this, any support would be appreciated!

i really hate it . i hate it, since 2 years i am screaming shouting begging prosting, saying, writing, that zaz animations Need mods who perform it. you  say look there are so many. why then do i use no one ? after spending two years testing everyone. ! because they are all full bugged, they are overloaded with ´content around zaz, that is wanted or unwanted, but always bugged. why can nobody make that simple zaz matchmaker ? whý are zaz animations not part of sexlab as creature animatiuons are ?  with displaymodel8 or 9 there is a mod that cast spells on target or yourself to let the zaz furnitures and chains appear , the target within. why not adding the active part of the Scene ? i dont Play prison overhaul anymore because it takes 2 days and is bugged, worse is sanguine debouchery, and Maria eden, etc. I WANT IT SIMPLE;, EFFECTIVE AND PLAYABLE !.  but no, no, no, you want it complex, uneffective and unplayable in the end.

Zaz, If I would like to make an animation how would I even do it( as you use blender if i remember correctly), do you got any tutorial or something to start me up?

my problem is that in my game there are not playng any bound animations... the victim just gets unbound and normal animation plays... and no one answers me how to fix it !!!

 

Have you registered zaz animations with sexlab from the zaz MCM menu AFTER u have registered any anims at the sexlab MCM menu? Umm, ok even i wouldnt understand that...to clarify... you need to go to MCM ZAZ menu - sexlab and register the  ZAZ amimations. And u need to repeat that every time u change anything like clean or reregister animations at the sexlab mcm menu. At least thats what i do . Hope this helps.

 

Registering animation rarely help SexLab animations play correctly. It does depend on the method, though, but DD overriding does not depend on registration, and if a mod explicitly asks for ZAP animations to play, it's quite likely to use the API from ZAP to play. Which also doesn't need registration to work.

 

Registration for ZAP is mostly unnecessary and will only fill up your limited slots at this point.

No sorry, there are no animations for those. I guess one could put something like that together, though, .... no promises though, there's too much on my table already for the near future.

I hear you. In the next version, which is a beta, but on the plus side I'm about to upload it in a few minutes....

 

1. The MCM menu is improved, so it's a lot easier to select your animations and slot actors.

2. ZAP can override any animations for you. If a character is bound, then the appropriate animations will play automatically for you.

 

This isn't what you want, but it's what you'll get short term. I have a lot of stuff already to do, and won't be promising anything new until my backlog empties up a little.

- Can be sent from mods to refresh all actors.

- New modders keywords for completeness (zbfWornBra, for instance).

-- zbfFurnitureTypeWicked: applied to furniture that's embarassing or slightly painful

-- zbfFurnitureTypePainful: very painful or unpleasant, but not deadly

-- zbfFurnitureTypeDeadly: deadly, like the roasting pit

 

* Actor selection system

- Actors can be selected through the console menu or by pointing the crosshair at them. Pressing "N" (same as SexLab on purpose) selects the actor.

- Selected actors can be placed in SexLab animation through MCM.

- Selected actors can be placed in the slotting system.

 

* Meshes

- Cleaned up meshes. All ArmorAddons are now split into hands and feet as appropriate. Worn items are left intakt, but combine these two.

- Meshes are also cleaned up; one mesh for hands and one for feet.

 

* Textures

- Cleaned up texture use across all meshes.

 

* Utility

- Lots of utility functions. See zbfUtil.html for more documentation.

There is not much new content in this one, it's mostly just mechanics. Still lots of stuff to play around with. I'll be adding all the things I've planned during the coming weeks. Most of it's "done", but not finally merged to the release track yet.

 

Things are coming, hang in there. I still wanted to get this out there, because I need feedback from modders and so on.

 

Before you bash me for removing the old version, there was a lot of questions already from the three files setup. I gave it a long hard thought and decided that the amount of issues people had with three files would mean a disaster with five files (or six if you count the translation). Removing the old version was necessary. I'm confident that this version will work well, or that it's at leeast patchable with little effort. Let me know ....

Well, I'll postpone Maria Eden 1.25 to remove lots of stuff that is no longer necessary.

 

One question about leashed:

Did I understand right: I can define and start a leash in a scene phase and simply add a wait condition that stops the phase when zbfSlaveLeashStatus switches to 0?

More questions to 6.05:

  • Do you add voices and expression overrides when player is using a furniture? For example moaning when using a wicked device?
  • Could you add additional keywords to furnitures to allow us to detect the correct place for whippings? Eg. in pillories I expect whipping scenes from behind and in X-Cross from the front.
  • Is it possible to create furnitures for some of the device animations? Eg. small hanging cage, pole with spread legs, hanging chains
  • In the past Maria Eden adds Sexlab Nostrip keywords to the zbf restraints to prevent Sexlab from removing it. Is it still necessary?

Is the update compatible with other mods requiring it or at least the most famous like cursed loot, maria eden and such?

Maria Eden - as far as I see in zbf code - yes - but I started making some adaptions.

I've got a weird issue. Never had this issue before on any mod. 

 

Zaz appears to load fine, but i get no menu whatsoever? I just updating, and started a 100% new CLEAN save and i made sure to remove ALL old files of previous Zaz stuff. If i load a non-new save, the menu works fine. If i start a new game, it doesn't even register. Even after waiting 20 minutes.

Same here. Removed the old Zaz, loaded game, saved, cleaned, installed the new, loaded game ... no MCM entry. But I do see: zbf External: Initialize.

Whew, glad it's not just me. I also appear to have all the assets of zaz loaded perfectly. I read the changes and a few points are rather vague making it hard to figure out what exactly he means. For instance, it says "MCM support.", but i don't remember Zaz animations ever NOT having MCM support?

Leash teleports player permanently to the leash holder - although distance is small - and leashholder does not move to destination.

I really love the ZAZ animations for bondage scenes, but I hate them appearing for normal scenes. What's the best way to use this pack if only want the animations to show up for bondage or aggressive/rape scenes? Also if I do not register the animations for sexlab, will sexal mods still be able to call on the animations?

I had a confusing experience with the new version.  First, my old saves caused the game to CTD, so I created a clean save.  This worked in all vanilla and most modded aspects, except that any living entity was declared as unsupported creature type (which I think may have been the Creature Framework having trouble), so no one was able to have sex.  Finally, I reloaded one of the saves that I had been unable to load from the main menu, and lo and behold, everything worked fine and dandy!

Had the same problem but i fixed it by using the reset option in the sexlab menu. Worked perfectly.

More bugs - no more Zaz specific sex animations, no expression overrides. I think, all these problems have the same root cause - Zaz Mod was not initialized properly.
