I have scoured this thread for a fix to my situation, but no fixes seem to work or perhaps I am missing something. Some of the ZAZ animations do not function at all, with both parties standing in a T-Pose, and in certain scenes, only player plays animation while the partner remains in a T-Pose.

 

Basics:

- I have latest XP32 extended skeleton 2.51, SKSE 1.7.1, FNIS 5.3.1, SexLab update v150 to v159c, ZAZ animations 6.00 with patch 6.04, Realistic Ragdolls and Force 1.9, CBBE 3.4

- I installed the Devious series of mods, and have aquired and installed Devious Devices Assets (DDa), DDi and the required SexLabAroused at latest versions.

- I have created a new character and made a new save.

- I have downloaded and installed each mod individually, adding them to NMM (I have unchecked the dreaded "Don't extract ReadMe files"). Between each mod, I ran FNIS, ran LOOT and loaded the new save file. Once loaded, enough time was allowed for mod to register and add menus. Then saved. At no point did a menu fail to be added or an error was reported. (FNIS detects SexLab and Zaz animations properly.)

- The game has no crashes, no warnings or errors, all menus are present and options therein can be modified and saved. Prior to installing SexLab and Devious type mods, I ran multiple mods from SkyUi, character run animations and quest mods without issue, in case this nugget of information is useful.

 

Tests performed.

- I have tested, via MCM Zaz animation menu, the pose, horny and struggle animations with success. Using commands to give player the required items as needed.

- I can properly select any npc and press Play Animation but either both t-pose (ex: missionary, doggystyle, etc.) or only female player plays the receiving animation (boobjob, lesbian, etc).

- I have managed with success to make the various Pilori animations from SexLab Animation work with random people and both play their animations properly, which is the point that really confuses me.

- I quickly ran another test with Deviously Helpless to force random NPC-triggered animations. The mod triggered the events properly, but only the player female character played any animation at all. The interacting NPC stayed in T-Pose and non-actively participating NPC stood around, playing clapping/dancing animations.

 

The skeleton and support mods all seems to work properly. SOME animations work, but majority do not.

 

Any help greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you installed the UPDATE from v0600 to v0604 but didn't install v0600 FIRST. The animations that work are the newer animations that came with the update while the animations that don't work are the ones that came in the v0600 file.

 

If you didn't install THREE Different files to get to v0604 then you did it wrong.

I'll uninstall/delete/re-install once again just to be certain.

 

But to be certain before I do that. The download section contains the main, the patch, a texture pack and a german translation, the last 2 which I have not installed. Where could I find this third file you mention? Could it be that installing via NMM skips a file?

I think I found another problem which could be the cause of my Zaz issue. SexLabs, all on it's own, isn't working for all the animations either, which I discovered after deleting and re-installing the setup. I'll have to get that sorted out first before adding anything else on top. But I will keep in mind and note down all your feedback.

Not sure cause RL is a bit tough on me atm , I would like to make make more , but not enough time . Working on it with Fore so lets see how it goes

I never used NMM, but I've heard that you sometimes need to check that a mod has extra directories or something similar? In that case, you need to check that on all the ZAP files you downloaded.

I never used NMM, but I've heard that you sometimes need to check that a mod has extra directories or something similar? In that case, you need to check that on all the ZAP files you downloaded.

 

 

I use NMM and have never had problem installing ZaZ.  NMM does have a bad lag in its download manager and mod activation queue so if you have fast and impatient hands the mods may not be added or installed properly. 

 

Like Dreamweaver said, texture pack is needed, three in all.  First check if all three are in the NMM mod list.  Uninstall and install again but check the mod activation queue on the lower right hand corner to see if the NMM successfully copied the files over.

Was testing some of the kill moves in actual combat they work good enough

lol. Looks good. Thank you Zaz. I' sure you'll fix that small? animation problem. I love that high jump and hit.

Greetings,

 

I simply wanted to pass by again and thank everyone for their comments and help. I managed to fix the issues I had been getting (certain animations not playing).

For the interested, I uninstalled all ZaZ, SexLab related mods. I then uninstalled FNIS, my skeleton (groovtama's extended) and reinstalled all from the ground up. one mod at a time.

 

Right now, SexLab and Zaz animations are working (with all 3 files!) and mods are working!

 

Once again, thank you for taking time to answer what some might see as silly questions and issues.

So I'm having a bit of an issue with ZAZ animation pack and Non-Sexlab Animation pack.

 

When I check all the NSLAP animations I want and head to register them, none of the Zaz animations are there. I head to ZAZ MCM and register for sexlab your animations, head to my animations registry and I only have normal Sexlab and ZAZ animations. I have Sexlab look for more animations, it finds NSLAP, all ZAZ Animations are gone.

 

Is this an issue on my end? This isn't going to be an issue once the full Sexlab 1.6 releases because it will incluude all the animations from NSLAP that I want, but that might still be a bit off.

After ticking on all the NSLAP animations you want and clicking reset animation registry and going to ZAZ and clicking register what happens?

 

For me it wasn't going from register to registered as usual but this was due to me hitting the sexlab animation limit which the next version of sexlab with the 1.7.2 SKSE is meant to increase so if you have the same issue you either need to manually register the ZAZ animations you want up to the limit or untick sone NSLAP animations and reset the registry again to make enough space for all of the ZAZ animations

 

The total number of animations per category is something like 128 i think but you may want to check the sexlab thread (other than trial and error i've not found a good way to determine where you are in regards to the limit)

Well the specific animations I want are like 6-7 of them, like the one needed by Amorous Adventures, I head into ZAZ afterwards to fill up my others... and the NSLAP animations are gone. It seems like the ZAZ animation registry works differently than the register animations button in Sexlab. Of course that may be just due to my install.

What sexlab version are you using  ?? if your still using the older one 1.59c then you are running out of animations slot. if you use all of the nsap animations then all of zaz can not be registered by sexlab anymore. if your using the new sexlab 1.60 then all animations should register correrctly.
