LaEspada Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 I've only recently gotten into anime and I really like it. I've watched all of One piece that is out atm (658 episodes holy shit) as well as Fairy Tail. I really enjoy these kinds of shows, I guess it's called shounen. So I am wondering are there similar anime to those that do not last over 200 episodes lol There's a few, just search on any anime website for shounen anime. I can't think of any off the top of my head atm that aren't 200+ episodes long (there's Naruto and Bleach, but they're over 200 episodes) did you forget about nintama rantaro? (1800+ episode FOR GOD SAKE) It's an old anime, but still in production, it's funny, I always watch it when I was a kid, dat soundtrack too. (Yuuki 100%) They DON'T want shounen animes that are 200+ episodes. yeah.. I just recommended it though, if anyone want some funny anime. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Only 64 episodes You could also check out recommendations here http://myanimelist.net/ oh..... Man, I was so mad and sad about that part. I wanted to reach inside and murder that douche bag. So sad...
ds64 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Man, I was so mad and sad about that part. I wanted to reach inside and murder that douche bag. So sad... I think it's not only you, because every time someone say something about FMA:B almost everyone had a flashback in that episode... Although I'm missing that episode in animax, I know what happened to her...
LordJerle Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I tried to get my roommate to watch La Blue Girl, telling him it was a comedy. Like a dick, he researched it first and told me I was an ass. Way to spoil my fun!!!

Angrybird Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 There's been some cool stuff recently but cliffhangers kill me so I don't watch stuff until there's at least something that resembles an ending. Anyway I'm listening to some Murder Princess ost it was a cool show with a female op character without the usual cliches.

The anime wasn't even good, you wont ever hear about it on a list of the greatest animes but one thing that it did great was end every episode on the most knuckle-biting cliffhanger imaginable! You'll watch the whole thing whether you like it or not lol.
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 I thought that show was about tits, ass and table humping.
Angrybird Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Code Geass wasn't good but declaring himself king of the world makes up for it not many shows with that kind of scope, also Lelouch knows he's awesome regardless of his sister complex.
jap2015 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I agree with you guys about Code Geass. I watch the live stream as it aired and did enjoy the show then. But not once have I ever re-watched. A lot of people really liked the show, but it probably would'nt make my top forty list. BTW: Did you know the 2 lead male voice actors are the same for The Irregular at Magic High. This show is still being aired and it blows Code Geass out of the water in terms of badass OP lead character. If you hav'nt seen it, you aught to marathon it.

Nice to see someone else liking Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (The Irregular at Magic High).
Lobzpooatu Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Watched Appleseed Alpha the other day. Not my favorite Appleseed, but still pretty amazing on its own right. Also a buddy got me back into Dragon Ball. I've seen all the DB and DBZ but none of the GT series. Found the whole series at Best Buy cheap so can't wait to check them out later.
DarkSide744 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I almost cried at the Angel Beats end ... almost.
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 GT huh... yeah, good luck with that pile...
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Black Star Dragon Balls, the first part being the original DB premise BUT IN SPACE, the second part being stupid body snatching, Gohan forgetting that he doesn't need to use Super Saiyan anymore AND the introduction of an even worse Super Saiyan form, the third bringing back old enemies for no reason other than nostalgia and the fourth being consequences for using the Dragon Ball wishes that NOBODY HAS EVER MENTIONED EVER, not even the people who made them, then an even lamer ending than Z had. Also this; http://youtu.be/yGdGJ1XXvTQ
Angrybird Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I find the original DB watchable the rest not so much.
SquallPT Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 GT didnt make any sense at all, starting from episode 1. Bringing back 3 " villains " that probably most people don't remember, to use the balls and turn Goku into a kid ? SSJ4 transformation was clearly lack of ideas. Didn't want to make more longer blonde hair, let's give him a thick black hair and some red gorilla fur. Oh and the little robot ( Giru ) was named Gil in Portugal because he was always saying " giru. giru, giru " and i remember them mentioning Expo 98 mascot because the series premiered on 1998 But the Portuguese intro song was catchy
deryer7 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Cant wait to see how M3: Sono kuroki hagane ends.
Lobzpooatu Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Lol gt sounds soooo bad it might be good then? Hell it was only 20 bucks for both seasons.
shirow Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Can't wait to see you this will go between esdeath and tatsumi in akame ga kill, this made me laugh and I just love esdeath x)
