That animator has amazing in-betweens. The pain fight was awesome (I don't watch the Naruto part 2 anime I watch the fights) but I still think the Naruto vs Sasuke fight from part 1 had the best animation and fight choreography.

I'm getting hooked on Aldnoah Zero lately. It's refreshing to see the protagonist curb stomp the enemies that have the bigger sticks; WAY BIGGER sticks!

Your model is really well done.  I love Rebecca's personality.  Dutch too.  I wish they had made the live action movie.  Seeing Samuel L as Dutch would have been great.  Owen Wilson as Benny.

And yes only one Dutch > Samuel L Jackson, Owen WIlson as Benny, Charlto Copely as Rock perhaps. But the girls? Daryl Hannah could pull of a good Balalaika, she came pretty close already in Kill Bill. But Revi and Eda? If we deviate a bit perhaps Zoey Saldana, she can do the moves but has to get a boob job first

You paint them yourself to? For me that is the main reason i got into GK's. I build and painted 6 so far. Started out with a big mistake, 3 cheap Thai kits

I THINK Revi is supposed to be Chinese and Puerto Rican.  Whoever played her would need to be hot and able to be a badass.  For 'Fry Face' I was thinking Sharon Stone, believe it or not.  Remember her in Total Recall?  Yeah.  I love the whole Hotel Moscow thing anyway.

 

Looking at your figures:  You have an expensive hobby, dude.  You do have skill though.  If you hadn't said you had painted the first one you showed, I'd say you spent $400 for a pre-painted limited edition.

for Aldnoah, I was lurking on the crunchyroll forums and it seems like 1/2 of the commenters either completely hate it or love it. Mostly because of the somewhat unemotional protagonist.

I personally love the show, because the main characters pull through not because of superior firepower or stupid shonen powerups. But because of strategizing and cunning.

 

Black Lagoon is awesome nuff said.

That's another thing that pisses me off about mech shows. The protagonist always gets a mech that so vastly superior that if you apply the normal rules of the progression of technology the mech doesn't make any sense unless you pulled it from the future like 40-50 years.

tbh most of the show kinda spits in the face of your typical mecha anime. The first martian mech has a weakspot in place that you wouldn't think of attacking, especially given that most mecha anime have the mech's main weakness being heads and limbs.

That's why I pretty much stopped at G Gundam. I though it was cool at each mobile fighters actual skills were more useful than the suit they pilot. Plus being able to kick up a skyscraper outside of your suit pretty much does it for me.

Just punting a skyscraper? How about chopping up mecha with a bit of cloth, Master Asia was crazy awesome.
