No, I want more Zombie Powder. I liked that manga... even if the art was shit because Kubo couldn't draw back then.

 

That or he should go back to what Bleach USED to be.

 

Bleach didn't use to be anything... it went to shit after the introduction arc.

now for the anime:

zetman, its quite dark, both the manga and the anime. But the anime is quite differ with the manga, especially at the last episode.

 

Chrono Crusade, the first manga and anime that make me excited at the beginning at the manga (I first read it in 2000's) but end up depressing at the end of the story, same with the anime ending. But I really recommended this, it's one of my favorites.

 

For ecchi fans, try Hanaukyo Maid. It's an old anime. There are 2 version, watch them both.

 

btw, isn't angel blade a hentai??

OH LOOK! LOOK! Another incredibly stupid and gory anime.
Like the animators figured the only way it would be compelling in any way is for there to be ridiculous amounts of bodily harm like with Attack on Titan or whatever it's called. Does someone get raped too? I BET!
It's the kind of thing that pisses me off. I can see it's all the same from the related videos too. Automatic hate. FUCK!

It's funny considering most of Monogatari is 95% talking with fancy modern artistic rendering. It's pretty much all the characters do. is just talk.

But when the fights scenes come, man, do they deliver.

 

I still don't see how your point is valid, the main point of extreme violence like on Attack on Titan is to show that the Titans are extremely powerful and lethal the humans, even with all their 3D maneuver gear training. They are supposed to stomp on, eat, and completely destroy humans left and right.

In monogatari, i supposed it's to contrast with the relatively low-energy plot-line of excessive talking with high energy scenes to show the reality of the dangerous situations Araragi is getting himself into even though excessive talking doesn't really show that.

Still looks like shite in my opinion. Attack on Titan, the little of it I watched, was the same crap.
No plot, just gore, I'd rather watch DBZ again, maybe even GT.

Actually, Attack on Titan is extremely loaded with riddles and foreshadowing that it's not funny if you try to look up the deductions some people came up from the plot. Anime only scraped a bit of the skin where the story focuses on the normal life of those living at that time.

 

Also, you should read the manga, things got real thick with the situational manipulation that you'll suddenly feel like the Titans aren't exactly as deadly anymore. They cause a whole lot of damage and death when let loose into the population but those don't matter anymore when the first reveal of the Great Wall's internal structure... The humans are not keeping the Titans out with the great wall. They are actually caged in for a purpose; a purpose that is yet to be revealed in full. From there, we know the real threat are the ones who are supposed to be looking after the humans.

 

Then again, you just might not like it when there are too many things that leave your brain in an exhausted state. Each to their own.

Well, I'll be honest, the main reason I just hopped off it right away was the gore.

I can't watch that kind of thing. I just get sad and/or angry like I did here earlier.

Just isn't good for me. I'm unstable enough as it is, I'm sure you noticed.

Chobits is about a young man who doesn't own a Persocom - a personal computer that looks and talks like a human person. One day, he finds one left for the trash and decides to take it home, hoping it's not too old / badly damaged / can get it fixed, since they're expensive and he's just a country-boy-moved-city. This is Chii - and his journey begins. It touches on a lot of things like whether robot-human love is acceptable, the nature of AI vs a consciousness, etc. There are a few moments where you will worry that unsavoury things will happen - luckily, there is some sort of plot device that keeps that from happening (and not in a nick-of-time sort of a way - in a "someone thought that could happen and made defense mechanisms" sort of way).

 

It's a good love story, which dips into many different scenarios through the various friends/people Chii and Hideki encounter thanks to their "unique" situation. I enjoyed it, but it is all sorts of shoujo feels.

 

DAMN IT, I WANT A PERSOCOM NOW. :(

But anyway, not even 5 minutes into Sailor Moon Crystal (you know, the new anime that just started), and it seems they're not even trying to be coy with who the Moon Princess is, since it shows her in the fucking opening. I mean, that was a mystery in the manga and first anime, but now they're not even pretending.
