It's annoying getting carded when I'm almost 25 in 2 months... I mean like seriously? I just want to buy fruit roll up and lighters without having to go into my wallet. "Black don't crack" so I doubt this will ever change.

It's funny how excite I always got when Bleach would get a new opening but then I'd forget why I was so happy when the actual show started. The music is probably why I watched anime for such a long time.

Anime which is pretty much meant to be real life scenario, but there are people who are "ghouls" that eat people. Got a alot of blood and I like how the main character has to adjust to a "dark" situation. Damn I just started Tokyo Ghoul, I rarely bother with anime but with Attack On Titan, Zankyou no Terror and Tokyo Ghoul, it looks like things are starting to get really nice compared to the crap that has been continuously shat for the past 5 years...
BringtheNoise Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Some of the stuff I've watched in the last year... 2014 winter season: Black Bullet, Knights of Sidonia, Brynhildr in the Darkness, & Mahouka (that one is still running). 2014 spring season: Akame ga Kill!, SAO II, Tokyo ESP (god I wish they would bring in the characters from Ga-rei Zero)... and a couple of others. Others being things like... Hunter X Hunter's remake (it's closer to the manga then the first version, it just sometimes slows way the hell down). Naruto... Yep the anime is about a year behind the manga (thats to the ass load of flash back/filler shows). Which is funny as they are still on the same day or week in the mist of "the Finally Battle"... How the fuck does a Finally Battle that lasts maybe 1 to 3 hours in real time take a year to produce in a manga? Counting the flash backs maybe a year and a half in the anime... Things I'ld like to see: The final ark of Bleach manga made into an anime (but the final ark isn't finished...go figure). Breaker, and it's follow up "Breaker New Waves". But I believe they are both South Korean manga, so I doubt an Anime team would pick that up over other Japanese manga titles. "Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru" would make for an interesting anime... between the stupid humor, training, fighting and hot chicks... If done correctly it could get a good fan base... It's just not an emotional manga though. Another Korean manga (mahwa or how ever you spell it) would be Veritas. That was a good fighting manga with a decent story and plot line development. But instead we get a 20 year remake of sailor moon... why. I mean it was an okay anime back in the day but why in the hell remake it? I'ld rather see something like the Hellsing Ova's (it took a while but it was worth it), or a decent Gundam series (Gundam Zero, Gundam Wing type... not gundam mini me, or what ever it was a couple of years ago)... Oh yeah Berserk, they need an anime to pick up where the 3 movies left off... work it all the way up to where Guts gets the Berserker armor and release an after hours version that censors nothing!!! Probably could do with another heart breaker like Clannad... but oh well. Surprisingly enough there are some manga's out there with good story lines and plot development (most even better then what Hollywood releases for TV shows in the US)... Strangely though instead of ripping off manga's Hollywood decides to do remakes of old movies with modern actors... Yeah like I really want to see Godzilla 55 (maybe it's Godzilla 101)... but it's got the dude from kick ass.

I've watched all of One piece that is out atm (658 episodes holy shit) as well as Fairy Tail. I really enjoy these kinds of shows, I guess it's called shounen. So I am wondering are there similar anime to those that do not last over 200 episodes lol

I can't think of any off the top of my head atm that aren't 200+ episodes long (there's Naruto and Bleach, but they're over 200 episodes)
