One of my followers is not moving from the spot. In her dialogues she has [Stop minigame] so I guess she is stuck struggling (she is not activly struggling) but she is not wearing any devices. Klicking [Stop minigame] didn't help.

There needs to be a cooldown for animations. Got a really bad combination from the Cursed Collar quest.

 

Walk 5m, TIME TO MASTERBATE! Wait 10 min as the animation plays.
Walk 10m, TIME TO MASTERBATE! Wait 10 min as the animation plays.
Walk another 5m, TIME TO MASTERBATE! Wait 10 min as the animation plays.
Walk 20m, TIME TO MASTERBATE! Wait 10 min as the animation plays.

i think this MOD need make new Unforgiving Devices DD Patch because the DD NG UPdata "Devious Devices - Expansion.esm" . and balabalabala.

So apparently a feedback loop can happen with DDNG. There was 4 columns for Orgasm Fatigue stacked up in the upper right corner and it wasn't stopping. Even after unlocking all devices in the debug menu the pink arousal bar would fill up and throw another magic effect on the stack just as one was expiring. Had to then reset all orgasm vars.

This mod modified the Cursed Loot plugs, adding the patched, sentient, and other modifiers which were causing the issue so it is the correct thread.

Looking into it more. I think the Cursed Collar quest was triggering plug events which UD intercepted in addition to the UD modifiers triggering plug events.

This state isn't "Going Crazy". It's "Orgasm Hell". An orgasm sends the player's arousal past 100% which causes another orgasm and so on. An infinite loop of orgasms. While sending the player to an actual orgasm hell from which they have to escape from would be cool, at this point the game has become unplayable. That stack will continue to grow on the right hand side until it reaches an equilibrium where an expiring effect is immediately replaced with a new one triggering a new animation and re-locking the controls.

You can try using AddItemMenu or the console to obtain many DCL Frigid Wash potions, and drink them to lower your arousal and then keep drinking more to keep your arousal down.

 

That has helped me in the past to get out of that orgasm doom loop.

Using UD debug tools to remove the items and reset the orgasm vars got the game out of the doom of endless orgasms curse.

So it seems there is a conflict of some kind with IWantWidgets status bars and the DragonBornVoiceOver, or maybe with the papyrus extender to allow AE extended files to work with SE?  (Its complex, might just give up and go into the AE update.)

 

I get the status bars showing up as expected, but they don't have any animation in them.  All of the other parts of the IWW integration, like the "installed" icons, works exactly as expected.

 

If I disable the IWantWidgets and use the base one, it all works as expected, so its not a big issue, but its a fun one.

I think the point is not to get out of that loop, but to maybe find the bug that's allowing that loop in the first place... Having to use the MCM for anything mod-game is always a little annoying, so minimizing the need for that is good I'd say...? 🙃

I can not remember if this was asked and answered, but is there any plans for implementing the Unforgiven Devices escape mechanics to the Devious Contraption/furniture?

 

The furniture follows the normal DD escape mechanics (IE just plays an animation while relying purely on RNG to determine whether you'll be free at the end of said animation), which feels bad gameplay wise.

I have been playing around with this mod for several weeks now and I'm going to say this is FANTASTIC addition to DD. Makes wearing them and trying to get out actually fun and engaging. I like the fact that I can proactively try and remove devices with several different methods, have feedback on my progress and can influence the outcome.

Much more fun than just selecting one of 3 options in the old system and waiting for something to happen without having any influence or information on how it's doing.

 

Yes, there are cases where you can get stuck in "orgasm hell" loop as reported by @jbezorg, most notably I got into one when doing DCL's "Courier in Chains" quest. Walking from Dawnstar's gate to Dollamker's house took something like 40 minutes with constant interruptions and I had to turn off SunHelm, otherwise my character would freeze, but in broader scope the pros far outweigh the cons.

Hello, I'm not sure where to ask this question so i'll ask it here and hope i get some advice. I have DD, Devious Lore, DIN and UD in my setup, but i encountered an issues while playing with this setup. Not sure what exactly is causing it, it might just be an intended feature of DD. I play with a female PC and sometimes when wearing devious devices a masturbation sexlab scene will trigger. My problem is that it triggers while i'm in dialog and at the end of the scene the PC cannot move from the spot. Is there a way that can prevent that? or maybe not triggering a sexlab scene at all since this has happened while i wasn't in any dialogue. Thank you

Probably not right place for asking, but here is my answer:

 

Something similar happened to me in other mods: if a sexab animation kicks in in the middle of some other scene, the other scene tends to get blocked.

 

You can avoid a sellable animation by reducing arousal.

 

Just remember you can press N for 2 seconds for a quick relieve if needed (assuming you can pay with yourself).

 

You can also use a frigid flask (assuming you have free hands and no gag)

Start new game? It's just 1 suggestion, you didn't say what your save's situation is. Is it just started or did you add UD mid-playthrough?

I am unable to do certain struggle actions and I'm not sure why.

"You are too exhausted. Try later, after you regain your strength." pops up every time I try to struggle with magic, lockpick, or cut a device. I have no exhaustion effects, and this still happens. Turning off the max exhaustion option in mcm doesn't help.
