I ran into an issue where the minigame wouldn't launch just on one character after a certain save. Thanks to the max logging level I was able to capture: [UD,WARNING,T=1990.460083]: Can't start minigame for Black Rope Armbinder(Caerna Telvanni) because wearer is invalid! Dead=False,Disabled=False,Scene+[SF_SLAppAskingNameToPCScene_0709DC95 < (8B09DC95)>] Issue was that Sexlab Approach was stuck in a scene. Used that mod's reset functionality and its all good again. 1

And it works fine (tested with Devious Start Abadon Plug), but only for first hour or about 40-50 saves, can't say what exactly causes issue. After that moment UD starts really slow (about 2-3 minutes) updating every savegame load. It's functions works wery slow too (opening device menu, playing escape minigame). Also the MCM stops working at all, so I can't control any mods. kurotatsu Posted July 8, 2024 Posted July 8, 2024 Seeing you using DD NG means you're on SE or AE, thus I'd recommend you to go to the Discord or Github and grab the experimental UD 3.0 version. It's SE/AE only and uses all the nice things for newer Skyrim.

But now i have the problem that some devices are not registered anymore, I can do the Fix in the Debug menu and it says found unregistered device. And the public (LL) version of UD is 2.1.1.

Can you share some info on which versions you have for Skyrim, UD and DD? Install and load orders are also vitally important for that issue, but you should know which should be overriding which?

Idk some of the dd items, but when im in the debug menu and press the fix button they get registered. Skyrim AE 1.6.640 UD 2.1.1 DD 5.2.7 So but i never had this problem before. how can i send u the load order ? So Steam library isn't to trust for that version number. Devious Devices you probably mean 5.2. If it has 7z file ending like 5.2.7z i can see you'd get confused. How to send load order depends on what manager you use for Skyrim mods... MO2, Vortex? For MO2 there is simply loadorder.txt in profile folder that you can upload here. UD doesn't include patches for DDE (DD-Equip). If you meant DD-Expansion (DDX) they are in the UD's included "UnforgivingDevices - DD Patch.esp". Every time I try to run it, meaning fresh start, set up everything etc, whenever I then try to load saves containing UD, the game teleports me to an inn and bombards me with popups from other mods. This issue only occurs with UD installed, which is a shame because I would really like to use it. (its says condition decreased and enquips) I tried to make the strugle difficulty harder but nothing helps. its like im cheating. windlink12 Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 I'm getting the "can't start minigame, player is already animating" error for unforgiving devices. Even with max log level, it doesn't say with what. I try to struggle out of an item, and the game has the text popup in the top left saying you're currently busy, even though I am doing nothing. Using other MCM menus to "terminate any scenes" doesn't resolve anything. Is there a way to see what the conflict is?

Got equipped with a blindfold, opened the menu for UD to try struggle, unlock and pick lock. Struggle did its animation. Wanted to try the lockpick. It just got to do the usual struggle animation. Same thing with unlock with key. A bug, setting in mcm or an error? Got all req for all mods. Playing on LE P.S. is there or can someone make a patch for SLsurvival? Using stat change gives me the too exhausted to try again even Im on full stats. (Full after changed from sl survival but lower than vanilla) Turn it off and im no longer exhausted
