Hello Ihatemykite,

 

here are some ideas/suggestion for future updates:

 

1) Legendary skills

Whenever you acivate the Legendary option for a relevant skill, you could get some flat bonus. Just some example ideas: When you reach Legendary 2 Handed, you get a +2 points of damage bonus for Cuts. Legendary Restoration could help with debuff cooldown and/or orgasm resistance. Legendary Conjuration could help with Soulgem based devices. Etc.

 

2) Helper level could affect Accessibility. So a pro Helper could reach/access locks which would be impossible for beginners. It could help with the above situation, knocking the Accessibility to 90% or above and make the restrain removable.

 

3) The helper should have a significant bonus for Accessibility. Even if the character can't reach the locks, the helper should have less problem. The helper can always use both hands and see the restraint.

 

4) Alternation magic could be used for damaging the restarints too. For example it would be good to lessen the quality/condition of the devices. Destruction could be more for damaging the device, better for device Health damage. There could be different resistances for different magic types.

Hi, I'm having a bit of a weird Issue.

I'm on SE and no matter if I have Hardcore Mode checked or not, whenever I equip heavy bondage my Inventory, Magic Menu and Map (yes, even the Map) all get locked. Pressing tab also doesn't bring up the device options window.

Upon removing the device everything stays unaccessible until I open the console and use enableplayercontrols.

Trying enableplayercontrols while the device is still on doesn't do anything.

 

Has anyone here also experienced this and/or knows why this happens/what can be done to fix it?

 

Other DD Mods are DD, DD NG, DD Enchanted chests, the UD helper Anims from Github and DD 4i Integration.

I believe these 2 are already implemented. To confirm it wear the device and ask helper to help, then use Details to see how accessibility changes.

I also encountered a similar problem. I tried using the repair option in MCM, but still couldn't solve it

Hi @ all

 

i have the same problem like you but you are wrong with the conclusion what parts are deactivated.

Only the Menu function is deactivated ( you must have installed ZAZ Animation Pack; in the MCM ist a tab with the Label "Player Control Center" there you ca look it up ).

And no i have no Solution for it, i think it`s  a Problem with the Creation Engine ( to high Scriptload with the demeanor of this Engine " Like a Diva " ) it`s the Culprit.

I also tried the repair function in ZAZ, but it was almost ineffective. As soon as I returned to the game, my TAB function was immediately disabled again

In case anyone is a dumb idiot like me, and is constantly experiencing a device error that is fixed consistently by just running general fixes, make sure your papyrus scripts are not being overwritten by sexlab/simply knock/campfire.

I think this mod is incredible and it was worth using through that annoyance for me, but because of that i uninstalled dd enchanted chests cause it was too inconvenient to be happening frequently. gotta get those back in now!

Also, I suppose ill figure out if it was the same issue in a couple of days when i play more, but does the "crit" functionality in the minigame work with other uis, like untarnished ui? I wasn't seeing them so i had to just turn on auto crit, but I think based on my papyrusutil issues it might have just been that.

No,

like the Titel says it`s for SE/AE/VR i.E for 64 Bit Version of the Engine.

You are here at the Legendary Version of Skyrim i.E. 32 Bit Engine.

Damn does anyone know why I can't run skyrim after disabling this mod? Game crash just before main menu should appear, what I'm missing? :(

Hi,

you must start a new Game ( because this Mod its to deep ingrained in any Savegame ).

It usually means you are missing some masters. Most mod organizers are able to display which plugins missing which masters.

Is there a way to change certain devices to be only escaped from via a specific method? Like Iron Yoke  needing a key/lock pick to escape out of, because if you look at what it is, there's no logical way for you to struggle out of that thing without breaking your neck in the process. While others like the Arm/Elbow Binders needing you to struggle to get out of them because there should not be a way for you to even get to the locks to use a key/lockpick. Rope devices shouldn't even have a locking mechanism.

 

I mean, technically, you shouldn't be able to escape from many of these devices by yourself, but gameplay mechanics need to come before realism is certain cases.

This thread is shared for both LE and SE version of Unforgiving Devices, and i'd almost guess most readers here use SE.

Well the papyrus stuff doesn’t have esps, so just make them highest priority on the load order. In mo2, if there is a lightning bolt, it should only have a plus, no minus.

I managed this once, but don't remember exact steps. You should look to UD source code to find variables, and manually change them to reset update progress

via console commands. (I don't even remember if those was quest or global variables, but i remember it was pretty easy - see /Unforgiving.Devices.2.1.1/Scripts/Source/UnforgivingDevicesMain.psc aroundFunction OnGameReload(), you would change _Updating and Ready variable somehow )

This mod breaks Devious Strike for me, at least the single device transfer option because i tried a new game with DS and UD enabled and it wasn't working when strikers would hit me but when i started a new game without UD the devices transferred perfectly fine.

Having some really annoying issue with UD error iwant widgets LE.esp not loaded or skse not found and i have both installed and running fine as i have iwant status bars and that works fine but UD just refused to use it and it was on the 7th may 2024 then all of a sudden stopped
