Delete/delete archive first, then install new version normally. Vortex will show they are still in the same position after. Other methods will achieve the same result, but this one makes most sense to me. I use Vortex too.

I tried it just now. Aligns for me.

 

If using Toys 1.3 and SLaVE 8.1, a heel height compensation/adjustment is applied for all animation scenes.

 

It uses NiOverride which is part of Racemenu. Maybe you've not installed Racemenu (link is the Toys Download page installation instructions), or maybe its been overridden by something or is an old version. Try updating it to be sure.

If the alignment for Word Wall Love is not working, then you should be seeing the same problem elsewhere too. Like for example, is it working for standing stones if you have bitch boots on?

Hey, so I'm currently trying to use this mod, but I've run into a pretty big issue: The MCM menu for Toys simply does not show up with the other MCMs.

 

I have at this point triple-checked that everything is installed correctly, made sure that I use the BodySlider to build the toys, I got Jaxonz MCM kicker, and I attempted to reload a save multiple times, with no success.

 

On the SLaVE forum you suggested that I make a new save (Which makes a lot of sense) which I've also done, however that also did not make the MCM appear.

 

Furthermore, in the Mods menu it clearly states that I have the Toys.esp installed, and in the MCM menu I can see the Toyful Temptations MCM but no other MCM's related to Toys.

111 warnings... they include warnings from the vanilla DLC, just like before. This to me indicates a big problem which I have no idea how you could cause this

This is your main problem. MCM not showing up is just the symptom/victim.

  • Toys is starting to initialize at least, this time but can't finish due to the stack dump.
  • I'm sure many mods would be "not happy". I see no initialization for SLaVE this time, so its now a victim too.
  • Toys DOES report that this is a new game. So we can rule out a corrupt save since no save is involved.

Conclusion: Your problem is installation, or a mod conflict. This is one step forward being able to rule corrupt save out.

 

Note that there was never any question of Toys being installed or not. SLaVE and Toyful Temptations can't load without Toys, so you'd not even be able to start the game if Toys was not there.

 

Technically that's not your load order, its a list of installed mods. The next tab down in vortex.. Plugins... is your load order. The list is still useful, nothing obvious to me is wrong but its hard to know, I can't know all your mods. I do know some of those creature mods can be possibly problematic, and also not all needed, but I forget specifics.

 

Suggestions:

  1. Sometimes we become too reliant on our mod managers, and trust it's doing everything perfect for us. But for example, there could be left over partial mods left behind in your actual folders. Things that are loading and breaking it. There could be a mess there. You could try using the vortex Purge Mods button, then re-deploy. This is perfectly safe. If that does not work, you may need to manually clean your folders, or just wipe and start from scratch as manually cleaning is not for the tame. You might need to run the integrity check in Steam, for Skyrim (this is just as good as reinstalling Skyrim, but much faster)
  2. If you don't think the above is your problem, you need to use process of elimination and build up your mod list one step at a time till you find the mod that is breaking things.  #1 above is making the assumption that its not a mod at fault, but rather the left over parts of an uninstalled mod, which if if this is possible at all, needs to be ruled out. If you use process of elimination, for example, start by installing only absolutely needed mods for Sexlab, and I mean the literal bare minimum. Get it working. Confirm in game its working. Then add toys. Confirm its working, run its test. Continue from there.

So actually, the Purge Mods button on Vortex worked, and everything (Including your amazing SLaVE) mod seem to work perfectly.

 

Nonetheless, thanks for all the help you've given and being patient with me over the last couple of days, I'm very new to modding and that was probably apparent :)

Tried this wonderful mod for the first time earlier this evening, and I was absolutely blown away by how much better it was than anything of its kind I've found on this site in years. I use UUNP and the bodyslide files that were included worked flawlessly, so that was a huge point in favor of this mod, but what really impressed me was the interactions between the character and the toys she's wearing. I did the small introduction quest, Toy Story, and loved it. There's so much potential there just with the trials, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what comes next. The MCM is one of, if not the easiest to configure I've seen in a while, and the effort you put into it really shows.

I started a new game, and if I followed the instructions correctly (I hope so) as soon as I entered the game I did a test, and it turns out that the mod installed correctly, but after loading the save again, the quest does not start ...somebody can help me please?

  1. Which quest you are expecting to start? Toys itself has no quest.
  2. If its "A Toy Story" that you are expecting, which is part of the separate mod, Toy Story  (its a separate download on same page as Toys), then next question is.... Did you install Toy Story?
  3. If you did install Toy Story, can you see it's MCM? This would confirm if its installed.

I noticed only now that I have to download "toy story", once installed, everything works, my fault for having misread

@everyone I seek someone talented in textures, who'd like to volunteer their time to re-texture the Toys Insignia toy box. I love the current textures, and Insignia toy box shall remain as is... The idea here is to make a new variant set, offering a 2nd choice for looks, and it will become Toy Story's own toy box. Our current project is the finishing of Toy Story.

 

 

Here's an example of what a new texture might do for the Insignia Scanty Belt...

I'm also looking for opinions on color combos. This above black with gold highlights seems like a good alt choice for the set, but that is just me. Any other ideas?

The nipple tease collar you show there is a known issue on my list (I'd publish a list but its currently the only known issue as I cleared them all when we came out of beta).

 

The known issue is that it misaligns with the nipples, only for CBBE 3bbb, and only with some presets. There seems to be many presets where it works well. I've tried to fix but failed. You'd be right to say... I need a bodyslide expert. I'm looking for a volunteer with such skills. This seems to be a 3bbb funky thing... those special added bones in the breasts.

@leesjigThis is me right now in CBBE 3bbb, with the "perky" custom preset I use, and it works well. But I CAN recreate the problem with some of the standard presets.

 

Then you can also see in outfit studio, it works perfect, so its hard to troubleshoot because it only goes wrong in game. Anyone know wtf this is about?

 

Note also, this is the rope harness that is causing those innocent rash marks :P

I last used Toys back in beta when UUNP Bodyslide for SE was still supported. I use UNPB on SE. What is the recommendation for my situation? Thanks!

That's a dilemma that I don't know how to solve. Maybe someone will choose to make and maintain for your body. @Bratty Cheeks - RMCWhas done the Toys BodySlides born again for BHUNP 3BBB (SMP) LE . So I can hope that someone else takes on some other bodies not supported by the Toys Team.

 

I should not have tried to support so many bodies out of the gate, and that's my fault for trying and not knowing what I was getting myself into.  5 bodies is still too many, we have 2 for LE and 3 for SE. You can see these in the survey up top.

 

I'm not sure if you know the pain of taking care of bodyside setups. The work is tedious, not fun if in high quantity, and very time consuming. So doing it multiplied by 6 was sapping the life out of two of us, taking time from getting other features done. 5 is not much better but helps. There's enough users of each of those 5, that we can't stop. We are committed to support those 5, and we know that trying to commit to more is not sustainable.

 

This decision really came down to NOT Toys but beyond, since for Toys its only maintaining it's 3 Toy boxes now that they are done. The decision was for future mods using Toys that any author makes, where they are adding their own toys, or making a Toy Box. Obviously an author can choose what bodies to support, but Toys tends to set an expectation. Don't want the price of entry to be too high.

So it seems like @Bratty Cheeks - RMCW has backported the BHUNP BodySlides from SE to LE.

 

Toys does provide UUNP BodySlides for LE. Perhaps those can be ported to SE? I'm a BodySlide user, not a BodySlide expert, but perhaps I can help with that.

 

I still have the UUNP BodySlide files for SE from the Toys beta. Have the Toys BodySlide files diverged a lot since beta?

Not sure if its ported from BHUNP, or if in LE you are better off to go from the LE's regular UUNP. What I do know is the only differences are for toys that touch the breasts/nipples. That's where there are extra bones. So much of what's in SE BHUNP will work as is on SE UNP. LE UNNP would need conversion for all.

We were just converting BHUNP to UNP in SE or vice versa.

  • I'm not certain but think your best bet is SE BHUNP --> SE UNP
  • You only need to change the breast/nipple toys. This is the advantage (again I'm not certain) of NOT going from anything in LE, since you don't need to touch the non-breast/nipple toys this way
  • The procedure would be... load reference body for SE UNP... clear old bone weighting... apply new bone weighting... conform... save project

The last version in beta was Toys_Bodyslide_SE_UNP_V0.7. Can give it to you if yours is earlier.

 

Since that version, I believe the only change for breast/nipple toys, that came after, was bodyside support for the new Leia Bra as it was introduced for v1.0. Thus if only talking about Toy Boxes in Toys, you have the regular and melted version of that one toy to do.

 

 

But thinking big picture... doing this for Toys alone may not be enough to satisfy your needs (or other people's if you are thinking of publishing). Most people are installing the Classic Toy Box. Toy Boxes are explained HERE. They are like animation packs but for toys.

 

Then there's other mods that come with a Toy Box.... Bratty Cheeks has supported SLaVE's Toy Box too, and has not caught up with HoT&WeT (these mods can all be found using the first link in my sig). Toy Story, when it exits from beta (our current project), will have a significant Toy Box too, with bodyside support for the 5 bodies. 

 

Thus, dare I ask... why not switch to the most used body? Is it about your own assets you want to use in a mod with Toys? If it is about your own mods the decision becomes even more important. The survey above I think does say that the last body to consider supporting is UNP.

That's a good question. The answer is that I have hundreds of armor and clothing mods for UNPB, many ported from LE. I have compacted the FormIDs and ESL-flagged all of them. In many cases I have retextured them to my liking. To summarize, a huge investment over many years in UNPB makes me reluctant to switch to a different body.

 

Anyway, good news!

 

I simply downloaded the Toys LE 1.3 UUNP Bodyslide and the Classic Toy Box 1.21 LE UUNP and built those in Bodyslide for UNPB. (I am using the Classic Toy Box.esp from the SE version.)

 

I used AddItemMenu to test every item in Toys.esm and Classic Toy Box.esp and every item works perfectly. I can't guarantee that this process would work for everyone, but it did work for me.

Ouch, it hurts my brain to think that maybe we wasted a lot of time NOT just doing this. 

 

If someone can eventually confirm that this works for:

  • the various UNPs out there (we struggled to even know which reference body to use due to the not so clear picture of what's available)
  • at least most presets (are there even presets supplied?)
  • different body weights (the high and the low)
  • inflation mods / body morphs being built for such mods

... then I could put this method in the Bodyslide FAQ as instructions.

As I mentioned, I did this for UNPB on SE using MO2.

 

The process is straightforward for Toys, because the Bodyslide files are separate from the mod itself.

  • Download and install Toys Framework SE V1.3.7z in its own mod dir.
  • Download and install Toys_Bodyslide_LE_UUNP_V1.0.7z in its own mod dir, overriding the SE mod dir above.
  • Run Bodyslide and batch build for UNPB.

Classic Toy Box is a little more complicated because the Bodyslide files and the mod are combined together.

  • Download and install Classic ToyBox SE BHUNP 3bbb V1.21 RC.7z in its own mod dir.
  • Download and install Classic ToyBox LE UUNP V1.21 RC.7z in its own mod dir, overriding the SE mod dir above.
  • In MO2, hide the Classic Toy Box.esp file from the LE version so that the SE version's ESP file is used.
  • Run Bodyslide and batch build for UNPB.

Regarding physics, I am using CBPC for body physics, and HDT-SMP for hair and cloth physics, and the breast, butt, and belly physics all work as expected for the garments, matching up with the UNPB body, and the anal bell and anal ponytail physics also work.

 

Here are some screenshots showing the results in game with the collar-nipple chains and with belted corset, since those are fairly representative items.
