To clarify, that blog post was not meant specifically for this mod, it was an idea for a mod based off of something I read that someone posted a link to here.

 

It was a cool story, and interesting concept for a mod.

Everyone does.  Being inpatient really does not help anyone.  The mod authors have a life, and are not getting paid to do this.

Agree i just feel it kinda feel to fit for this mod did you post it as a suggestion in the suggestion section ? That one ?

My blog sort of functions as idea store\age :)  Someday I might get to making it, just have several ideas ahead of it, and not enough time to work on any of them at the moment.

I just finished reading it, and it was a great read, and definitely an interesting idea for a mod.

 

I already have a few ideas from both the story and your mod idea, that could be beneficial, especially since you're unable to fight without magic or weapons.

What would probably have to be added to the mittens is a little extra punching strength, if only to help you survive.

Just take the enchantment from the Pugulist's Gloves and add them to the mittens in the CK. It's an easy thing to do.

 

And I apologize for changing the subject, since this is supposed to be about the Rubber Facility mod.

Hey Guys :)  
Been a few weeks, but as I've said previously, the mod is still in the works, even if I vanish for a time.

I do want to stress that should it ever come to the point that I can't continue development, I will at the very least inform you guys so that you don't wait for nothing. 

 

Now with that out of the way, how about some good news :)
IRL Work for me at the moment is very slow, which means I have more time to put in the mod :D so I expect to have the next version finally ready for testing at the end of the month. So I am very confident in saying a release could be at the end of June or possibly sooner. 

 

Sadly it's not all good news, Raconnity Is the brain behind the entire Story and Dialogue, and at the moment, they seem to be MIA. I hope it's just temporary. :) 

 

Now I also want to thank @fuwadaren for all their amazing work in the different Vaccumbed Variations :D  
I am sure they will find great use in the Facility.

Apologies that you had to wait so long for an answer. I need you to clarify this, please :) If you just want to do a translation, then sure.

 

However, if you want to upload the mod on a different site, unfortunately, the answer has to be no. It's not that I personally wouldn't allow it, but the Mod uses a lot of custom Outfits from different authors, and while we got the permission from them. I don't think I can decide for other authors if they want their work reuploaded somewhere else.

Well hey good to see were gonna see a release window! the wait will be worth im sure of it. Hopefully Raconnity is doing ok but if for whatever reason he cant work on it anymore will you takeover on the story and dialogue?

I don't know. Writing for me is the least enjoyable part of Modding, which is why I was very eager to hand it over to Racoonity when they offered to do it. I will probably try to find another writer should Racoonity remain MIA or decide they don't want to continue to write. But I guess if all else fails, I'll do the writing again.

Do you have the general framework for the story figured out? It'll be easier to write if the main structure has already been written.

Judging from the requests I think there should be enough volunteers for it. But as we both know making scenes in CK and more importantly making sure they work properly is what takes the most amount of time (and cause of annoyance). The writing itself is the fastest part :P

So I anybody would like to assist if and when the request is made, please keep in mind it's bar from some standard dialogue not just copy-paste some text and it's done. It requires _a lot_ of patience and repetitive testing ingame.

Personally not worried on the writing for this mod. As long as its to the point then ill be happy. My only hope is there to be alot of unique features, IE admitting followers/random people to the Facility or possibly a punishment scenario for crimes.

But that exaclty is writing. If you have some hours to spare, go to the Creation Kit Tutorial and make that silly test quest. That simple fetch quest took me about two whole days to write and get it running. After you've done this, you really, really learn to appreciate what wonders the mod authors are able to achieve with that pesky interface.

I get what you mean and while I do want this mod to be complete in what Prime66 wants but me personally im not worried if its not perfect

At the risk of sounding stupid, how do I start the story? I’ve got a fresh game and talked to both the gate guard and the innkeeper. I’m told there’s a shipment but I have no idea where it is or what to do next?

The "correct" order would be:
1) talk to the innkeeper in Markath - he has a conversation option via the tower in front of the town gate
2) talk to the guard in front of the tower - depending on your ranks or skills, he has several options for you to talk to as a player in the tower
3) if he accepts one of the choices YOU made, he will open the tower entrance for you
4) go into the tower and talk to the woman at the reception desk
