The problem was the guard just kept repeating his “GO AWAY NOW” dialogue at me and wouldn’t give me the option to do anything but be turned away. Apparently despite me starting a brand new game to play this, it wouldn’t count as “brand new” enough until I’d cleared out all my old save files. However I’m in now.

Ok I guess my next question. I signed myself as a VES and got told it’s basically the end of the mod. Is there anything to do now or am I just running around until the next update playing with the toys?

Try to find all the different paths/endings.

Were you only counting on quicksave or autosave? They are not as complete as the manual saves. That you clear out your old saves will almost literally do nothing at all.

 

And to find all current endings you need to load game back to before you enter facility.

I had started a new game entirely, gone through character creation, and whatnot. For whatever reason that didn’t work at all, just having the guard repeat the “fuck off” dialogue over and over again. That’s when I noticed my save file was numbered 40 instead of 1. I cleared out all my old save files to have a completely brand new save game and that got it to work. Could be me thinking correlation equals causation here but all I know is my problem got fixed.

Yeah, earlier in this thread they made an annoucement saying its likely end of june or sooner that an update will be released.

Unfortunately since Racconity Serah is the story writer and seems to have vanished for now, we probably won’t get a story update. Which sucks because I was really looking forward to actually checking myself into Bedlam and trying out those vacbeds.

For all those checking on the status of the facility mod...

 

Pls note that Prime66 has already made a pre-announcement comment regarding an update. Ik we all are highly anticipating any and all news, but that's no reason for impatient pessimism. I urge those who have yet to see the news to view prime's recent comment found on page 94. It's exhilarating & enlightening information which proves to be as exciting as it is insightful. I think you'll find his comment much more worthy of discussion rather than discussing the longevity of the mod.

 

I would post a full screenshot of Prime66's comment, but it's best if you go and see it for yourself and show your enthusiasm/support there rather than on my comment.

 

@fuwadaren You probably haven't seen me in this community before cause I'm an asocial-lurker, but I really felt the need to tell you that your vacbed variants look dope af I hope to see more :)

 

@Prime66 Thx for the post dude! Sry to hear about @Raconnity & you're work becoming slow. IK you've already got offers, but if you're in need of a mind for writing the story I've got a ton of free time being the hermit that I am. I'm gonna try my hand at modding on account of being inspired by "The Facility" & various other art I've seen on pixiv. So I'll let you know if I get any good at it. Also what about "Farmthat" for the story? I've seen him on here before commenting but was unsure if he had been working with y'all on the mod. I assumed they were/are because of their background in 3d animation.

 

@Farmthat XD I got a chuckle from the "this" & "that" in you're name, just now noticed it. Also I love your art, been wanting to tell you that for years.

 

However here is a little snipit of what he wrote, hopefully it'll urge you to inform yourselves :)

On some forums I visit there's a button right next to reply, post, etc, that has "DEV ONLY", would be cool if this site had the button for "TOPIC AUTHOR ONLY".

I would guess not, since they are already struggling with time for making player specific scenarios first. And there is a ton they can do with that alone.

I have truly enjoyed the many outcomes i have witnessed from this mod. I would love to see an expansiosion of the dwaven battery but beyond that i think your work is enjoyable and if that is all. Thank you for your effort.

Hello, I have been trying out your mod but am having difficulty in getting it to work. I am able to get to the receptionist and sign the contract but once at the locked gates nothing happens. I have done both tcl- ing and hitting the guard but am having limited success because she just stops at the desk on the other side of the locked gates. I dont know if I have the wrong download or it is installed wrong (I use vortex). 

 

P.S. I have looked on this forum and tried their solutions (only to page 5).

Thanks! But, after that, I stuck betveen the rods (like the last seconds of the video). How can I escape? (I waited for 24 hours, but it was not helped.) I used frost and/or fire magic, but thats not helped either. I used a dragon shout, but nothing.
