The straitjacket versions without a legbinder or dress should be allowing for penetrative sex, they have the necessary keywords allowing it. This change was made with 5.1 so you're either not using it or have a mod that is overwriting the keywords on straitjackets.

 

Due to some script changes with 5.1 it seems catsuits are going to need the PermitAnal and PermitVaginal keywords now. So until that change is made penetrative sex is blocked with catsuits.

I am almost sick to death of trying to get my PC to shed one of these inflatable Vaginal Plugs.  Console shows the item is from the DD Assets esm

 

It's been there for days, virtual and real, and is now slowing the poor soul's progress down to something almost like (allow some slight exaggeration) walk 100 yards, pause everything else to fiddle with oneself, repeat the walk 5 or 6 times, and then suddenly lie down on the ground in a paralytic paroxysm of joy.  Stagger to one's feet and repeat, ad nauseam

 

Occasionally it will raise your hopes by messaging to to pretend it's puffed out a bit of air, only to tell you, on accessing the inventory. that it's been lying and there's no chance it's going to pop out in the immediate future

 

As you can imagine, after a while, it's a bit of a game killer

 

How do you get rid of the orgasmic leech?

 

I've searched the thread and this doesn't seem to be an altogether unusual issue, but despite others having mentioned it, no one has stated how they managed to stop it. or prick it until it died

 

Any help as to how to do that would be most welcome

 

@Kimy - I know that it's just another weird quirk in the ever so great big complicated machine, but have you got any clues, pls?

Yes, these are so bad that I use every cheat to get rid of them as fast as I can.

If your MCM isn't blocked, you can set the belted and plugged arousal modifier to 1.0 -  doesn't help too much, but you won't hit the 100 again so fast.

In the "Events and Effects" page are two interesting settings: Horny Chance and Bump Pumps Chance. Set the latter to zero, so the inflatable plugs won't get accidentally pumped. And I think that Horny chance is what makes you masturbate ever so often.

 

If you're not afraid to cheat: I use DD Equip  DD Escape Overhaul to struggle out of annyoing things - be sure to set the checkbox to override device's settings (timed locks etc) and you should be able get rid of that plug.

I have this aversion to cheating which, TBH, often only serves to delay the point at which one has to.  ?   

 

I've already set some of the events mentioned to 0 or 1 - can't remember exactly which, but I'll check again. 

 

I use DDe in almost every profile, but hadn't really considered that as a possible solution, so I'll have a look at that too if I finally decide to throw the Toys out of the pram ?

Quick follow up.  That sorted it thanks.  Took 4 periodically fast forwarded 'game days' in splendid isolation on an island in Lake Honrich, but the puffed up plug has been pricked and pejoratively passed out .....

Yes, DDa, DDi, DDx, and DDc (Contraptions), as well as DD For Him and the beast race refit are all in the download on this file page.

Thank you so much for testing this. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has this CTD, but of course, in true Skyrim fashion, for you there seems to be a certain amount of randomness. Maybe it depends on the item that was unequipped. We will probably never know. :D

For me it happens even in new games with minimal load orders.

Hello , a bit new with Skyrim SE modding and ..yeah i spend maybe 4 days trying to make my list on Vortex works , but the problem with Devious Devices is i didn't know EVEN if i have the right one for Skyrim SE , here is my actual list of mod that i got for Devious Devices ( the files names ) :

- Deviously Cursed Loot SE 9.0.7z
- Devious_Devices_-_Beast_Race_Refits_v4.0.7z
- Devious Devices SE & VR 5.1.7z
- Devious Devices - Integration 4.3a.7z
- Devious Devices - Expansion 4.3a.7z
- Devious Devices - Contraptions 1.5b.7z


That would be really helpful if someone can help me find the correct modlist for that since it's been like almost 4 days that i'm actually trying to makes my modlist work ( I'm also using Nemesis if that would be helpful.. ).

You only need:

   Devious Devices SE & VR 5.1.7z

   Deviously Cursed Loot SE 9.0.7z.

 

The DD 5.1 archive is an all in one installer containing DDa, DDi, DDx, DDc, DD for Him, and DD BRRF.

What would cause a follower or NPC's hands to still show while wearing an armbinder? The hands are balled behind them and clipping through the device so I do not believe it is an animation issue. No issues with player character.

hey kimmy, after upgrading the DD family my game crashes all the time. looting corps.chests,pressing pause/save button. or even trying to talk to someone. The older versions worked fine but other mods required upgrading so now im screwed. Any idea on what might be happening?

"upgrading the DD family" - this can be read in so many ways. You need to uninstall the old files first, then also start a new game afterwards. When we talk about CTD's we usually also need to know what steps have you done so far to prevent them, like from guides written for stabilizing Skyrim. Only then can we know what else to suggest. If you haven't read those then that's step 1.

first... im not a noob, and second, upgrading is exactly what it is, the older versions are not posted anymore so i can not revert to them. New game, new install, new NMM, new files. been playing for over 20k hours over the years, so thankfully you did not ask about my papyrus log.....we all know it is for mod authers and does little good for users. but thanks anyway ffor the ummmm advice.

When people ask about CTD's they usually aren't any experienced players so that is always the assumption then as it also happens quite often. You didn't give me reasons to suspect otherwise. Then some people play on too weak PCs and so on.

 

Maybe you are pushing the boundaries of what Skyrim can handle performance wise? DD is not lightweight mod, not at all. The script was indeed heavily changed in DD5 but it is supposed to fix some old broken behaviors. However i can't imagine script load being even able to crash the game. From my own experience that largely depends on what happens with NPC's in the world and that's mostly other mods doing. I have also been pushing that part myself, increasing NPC's in towns and roads by some "populated cities" mods etc but i see no behavior you are describing.

sexlab in it self being script heavy taxes skyrim engine,that being still does not explain the ctd at every npc,chest,or dead body. The older versions of DD assets,integration,expansion worked fine. Now they are all integraded into on file....Devious devices. I can not revert back because the files are no longer available. But if you have any idea as to why i get a CTD when looting anything, please do tell. And yes, i have checked the cpu usage RAM and VRAM... all within normal range. Pap logs show info of little use to me as not every log entry is not always a bad thing.

I have no mods to alter NPC behavior or texture mods of any kind., 140 mods mostly clothing, armor., and sexlab mods. The same as i ran years ago.

I got to thinking.... what about my graphics card? Is it possible it can not handle the new merging updating of the mod?  You know, overload the system so it crashes?

Unless you share your load order we can't say if any two mods or more are conflicting and causing the CTD. At this moment we are totally blind on what you are running in your rig.

Indeed.  I had a lot of performance issues with LE.  Switching to SE fixed the majority of my issues.

interesting.... even though i said each individual mod worked fine before., but now they are all integraded into on file that its a mod conflict.. And in your opinion, its a conflict that causes a CTD when looting or interacting with an NPC?
