Sounds like a stuck script. I'd bet most other options aren't working for you either it's just that you haven't tried them yet. 

Did you install PO3 papyrus extender + UI extensions?

I do. I've had both installed for quite some time. All other options with Survival appear to be working correctly on a 5 hour playthrough (tolls are disabled for me, I was able to check the EasyHome Option, and various other settings).

 

I apologize for posting it here if it doesn't belong, I just know the most current SLS Beta is in this thread, so I thought it the best place to post. I can direct the post elsewhere if it would be better.

 

I attempted to work around the pricing bug by installing "Investment Price Config" AFTER I saw the price was stuck, as that mod allows housing prices to be set. In spite of trying to load Investment after SLS, and changing the price via that mod, it still reverted back to SLS prices. If it is a stuck script, I could attempt to disable, and then re-enable SLS to see if that fixes it. I worked around the issue at this point, by just saving the amount of money I wanted to purchase the home ($15,000) and console gifting myself the other $70,000.

Anyone have an issue with some elements of the quest not ending properly after being sold into slavery? I still see notifications about Father's approval regarding SLSO events after having been sold and ending the quest.

 

Alternatively, is there a way to manually disable this with a console command (ie if there's some unmarked quest tracking the events or something like that)?

This is a problem of order. Normally theses things are shut down when you leave the home cell. The problem is that when shutting down, WT first shuts down the quest that handles shutting down these things and then moves you out of the cell (which would have shut down these other things if it had not been stopped itself). I've added what I think is a fix but for now just do:

StopQuest   pchsDeviousSubQuest

StopQuest   pchsPlayerOrgasmQuest

Being sold isn't really the main part of the mod btw.

Afraid I don't know then. I do know that 85000 is definitely not the vanilla price and that setting that variable is one of the simplest operations there is. Its just a global variable. 1 maybe 2 lines of code.

Ah many thanks, seems to have fixed it for me. Also by being sold I meant the ending scenario where you refuse to become slave wife and get sent to simple slavery.

When I'm at the dibella statue and I click the wartimes option, nothing happens and I can't use the bed. 

 

Also, is there a fresh save file someone could share? I might be able to make it work if I didn't have to use LAL.

If using the tweaked version then LAL is not a hard requirement so it needs to sorted manually in your load order below LAL. 

Also a save and reload within the LAL cell might help.

How do I manually start without LAL?

Seems there's a stage check for the button. I don't remember why. 

 

Setstage  pchsWartimes  50

in console and then use the button. 

 

Is that a bug or does anyone know why that's there? Seems the intention was to prevent the button rolling back the quest/scripts and doing damage somehow. 

If ThisQuest.GetStage() == 50

 

Should probably be 

If ThisQuest.GetStage() < 50

 

The quest is not 'start game enabled' in my version (assume 10.3 is the same) so GetStage would always be 0 on new games so...

Setstage shouldn't put you in the house. Pressing the manual start button will put you in the house. 

 

SetStage first then button.

 

Not using Zaz 8.x has been know to cause CTDs.

I think something's broken with Father's hunger and thirst. The needs do not reappear after getting mother back for 2000 gold. Tension works fine. Checking globals results in the following:

FatherHunger/Thirst 1

FatherHunger/ThirstGlobal 0

FatherHunger/ThirstLastMeal 20.42

 

Setting HungerGlobal to 1 did not do anything, so I'm asking for your advice.

So the mod always makes my game crash. I somehow got the mod on my load order without it crashing and I even found the house with Mother and Father, but the quest hadn't been initiated it and once I put the console code in to start it, it crashed again.

 

I'm on a steam copy using MO2.

I've never seen any of those before. What's an esl? I've been able to run wartimes with everything else in that load order so perhaps it's a conflict with one of them.

Actually that probably means you're running on Special Edition so ignore everything I wrote. I'm playing original Skyrim and SE versions of mods that work for me might not work the same way for you. Hope someone else can offer some advice.

Are you sure you downloaded the SE version?

Check if you installed other mods reqs, like papyrus utils, jcontainers, FNIS/Nemesis, Address Library, etc.

I'm asking here because I'm not sure which mod handles the slection of the piercings when father sends you there? I did get a different earring once but after that its always been the same one. Do I need to do something special when I install more earring mods that are listed on YPS page so they appear as options? Or is it wartimes thats just gonna pick the default ones? And follow up to either of those any way to change what earrings (as in specific earrings not which body parts) I get in the wartimes quest?

Another question is there any specific way to avoid getting softlocked on the massage part? As in I agreed right away this time (restarted on a new save to make sure I don't get silly bugs super late down the line) and there is no way to tend to his needs in the dialogue (but he still gets angry when too horny for a long time), first time I played through and choose the more apprehensive route I had that option ready, did something just not work on my end or should I just avoid the eager answer? For now I'm gonna load up earlier save and try again but I'm curious if I just overlooked something I should've done? Father mentioned starting with a massage, should a scene have played then?

Not sure. I've only ever used the default earrings but doesn't yps requires a (fairly long) period of training before allowing equipping other earrings. 

 

As for other piercings for WT there's configuration available via json. Think there's a help file too.

An animation should play. If not then perhaps you need to get some animations or loosen the tags required via the json

Seems the value got set very high somehow. Try speed waiting 4 days.

Speed wait = Go 3rd person, toggle free cam (tfc) and then wait. 

Save first obviously.

Not really but I am moving cum pools out of WT and into SLS atm. So in a way sort of maybe. Currently trying to get the player to automatically clean up pools with her mouth depending on addiction/hunger but I'm finding getting the positioning into place in a half believable way is tricky... Going to have to do some trigonometry later... yay!

 

 

 

Still focusing on SLS and I have to say the feature creep is really starting to drag. It's been a big chain reaction. Here's just one aspect:

 

1. Wanted to upgrade hired thugs. 

2. 1 meant I had to detect what you're stealing better than vanilla. 

3. 2 meant I had to create a better NPC reaction to you stealing. 'Hey that's not yours!' + a little bounty = a bit shit IMO. 

4. 3 meant I had to create a way of Npcs remembering you stole from them and create another reaction to that. 

5. Getting caught by 3/4 meant I had to create some kind of punishment for the player with the Npc. It's currently a shell system where you have to report every day for 'tasks' until you pay your debt. Tasks are simply fade to black and pass several hours right now. Blackmail essentially. Massive scope here alone. But for this to work well then going to prison needs to be a big deal. You're going to really not want to go to prison. I do not plan on getting into prison stuff so POP or DCL or whatever is going to have to do here. 

6. Since stealing can fire the vanilla guard arrest approach it may also need modifying... which in turn may mean creating some kind of PaySexCrime equivalent... ffs.

 

and on and on and on and on....
