My followers tied me up in the Dragonsreach，tell me to find the Lord.   I talk to the Lord and only reply to me: what's the matter, slave.    There's no way to end this scene

Are you sure that you have the SE version, and not the LE version?

I swear I checked that more than a few times, but I just redownloaded and installed, and it seems to be fine, so I must have been wrong. Appreciate you being willing to help though.

No problem. I've made that mistake more than once myself. That is why I recognized the problem.

Been having a rather wierd issue where the gambling game results in me losing debt. It doesn't happen every time, but it does happen often enough that I'm sure it's not my imagination...

I found a legitimate need for the MCM option to dismiss a follower.  Got in a little debt to my follower and had to make a few deals.  Interesting thing is that the first 2 deals were not detected by MCM, so I had 2 active deals with my follower and MCM still said 0 deals.  Ended up needing 6 deals before I ran into some coin (MCM still saying 4 deals).  Paid my follower to 0 debt and then paid off all 6 deals (MCM now says -2 deals and suddenly I have a debt of 1 gold).  No matter what I did I could not get debt back to 0 gold.  Made 2 new deals with my followed (MCM now says 0 deals and suddenly my debt was back to 0 gold)  So ... it was never possible for me to dismiss the follower. I was stuck either having no deals and a constant debt of 1 gold or being able to achieve 0 debt but having 2 active deals.  Solution ... use the dismiss follower option in the MCM.  Before anyone asks ... I was standing in the middle of the street in Whiterun and there was no contract time remaining.

This mod is so good.

I love the new SLS feature, it's great (now it just needs support for Licenses on page 2).

 

I got a wierd bug while playing. I tried disabling a bunch of deals in order to test MME and Skooma deal. However i got the text from other deals while those deals got applied.

I've run into a couple of issues with Devious Followers SE.  First, I loaded meshes for the Custom Whore Armor for CBBE.  The Heavy Armor and Mage Armor are displaying correctly but the Light Armor does not show the calves on my character ... even though the calves are not even remotely covered by the armor.  Second, none of the Piercing Deals are really working.  When I get a Piercing Deal, my follower never gives me a piercing item and the deal count does not increase.  The deal DOES show up in the listing but if I don't equip a piercing, my follower never says anything and never adds debt for me failing to honor the deal.  I am playing on a game that was started using LAL - Captured Princess beginning with all mods installed at the beginning and no mods added after leaving the LAL cell.

Is there any way to activate the forcegreet part of this mod and disable talking to my follower about stuff at all. I mean, the ideal submission is worthless if I have to take the initiative to bring it up to my follower. Is it common for other mods to interfere with DFs forcegreet system.

 

Like please tell me if I've got the wrong mod. I want to my follower to demand sex, punish me if I don't comply. Not me to demand they demand sex. Because so far, I've been trying moda left and right and they have like a craaaaap ton of everything but that. I havent gotten this mod to initiate one sex scene in 200 hours of gameplay. And the MCM is a tornado of headaches. Like its my nightmare now. I can't deal with all those weirdly written options and "stages" and I'm having a hard time learning every different mods weird menu lingo in reference to tick able options and sliders. I'm just having a lot of trouble understanding this. 

 

(For your understanding, I use SE versions of BaboDialogue, Defeat Baka Edition (latest), SLHH Baka Edition v5 (Latest), Fill Her Up Baka Edition (latest with framework), DD (latest), ZAZ (7.0), Aroused Baka Edit, like 10 SLAL packs, and I generate it all with FNIS.)

 

Oh and Deviously Enslaved which seems totally at odds with this mod...in my opinion. Judging by their MCMs they just look incompatible idk. Because it has follower forcegreets that I've seen work like...once. on a horse. On accident. I don't even have creature stuff. And my horse starts talking to me. I mean it would have been sick if it was a person. Way better than talking to my follower and bringing up my debt, which wow, I really don't get it. No gold ever gets removed. I can never tell how much I owe because it always says "Work it Out". I just dont get this. Is it Interesting NPCs? Omfg I'm so dumb I've only tested it on interesting NPCs. Pllleeeeeaase please tell me it's that and this mod does have verified working forcegreet system, which apparently is like finding freaking mushroom islands in Minecraft. Lol. I swear I'm too blonde for this type of stuff.

I've been using Devious Followers Continued SE for 3,4 games now, maybe I can help? I'm going to spoiler this because it gets kind of long.

    1. The deals are about control and/or humiliation. Making you beg for sex, or spanks, fits into that. The later stages of the ownership deal, iirc, your DF [devious follower] locks you in a chastity belt and doesn't allow you to have sex until the DF is good and ready. Other than that, I don't think any of the deals will have the DF initiate sex.
    2. My interpretation of the stages is that they are designed to lure you or indoctrinate you into a more and more submissive role. That's why the more punishing/hard core deals are stage 3. Could it lead to slavery? Perhaps.
    3. I understand your frustration w/ some of the MCM descriptions. It confuses me sometimes until I remember that all mod authors do not share the same native language so between translation and syntax differences there can be communication misunderstandings. I either test what I think will work the way I want or ask the question: here are my settings and what I think they are doing, is this correct? With so many mods, it can be tedious.
      • My suggestion is take screenshots of the settings you like to make it easier to set up in a new game. Heck, paste the screenshot into a Word document and make any notes that will help you later. You should see my spreadsheets - no, you probably don't want to see that at all!
    4. About Deviously Enslaved, I've been using it for years. I've been using it with the mod disabled for several games. "Why?" I hear you thinking. Because of the follower page. Even with the rest of the mod disabled I find it very convenient to be able to bring lagging or lost followers to me without using the console. I can even transport former followers (if they're still in the list) if I want/need the backup.
      • I don't use the rest of the mod because of potential  conflicts. This way I avoid the conflicts but keep the main feature that I want. The other items on the follower page can also be turned on or off as you like and used in game.
    5. "Work it out" means your DF is angry because they are tired and need to rest. Your debt has increased because of this. During one long battle - a dragon with over 300k health - my debt reached over $150k before I thought to pause the mod. But I digress, you can still pay your DF, but whatever you choose to pay might be miscounted because, you guessed it, they are tired.
      • If your DF isn't tired and you ask how much you owe them, they'll tell you. Then you decide whether to pay them and if so how much. Not paying them will have consequences! Trust me.
    6. If you think the DF should control the money, then check the gold standard option. You can then voluntarily give them control over your gold, or they will take control if you don't pay them when they think you should.
    7. You want your follower to demand sex and potentially punish you if you refuse? Have you considered Scent of Sex[aka SSX]? I don't use it all the time, but I am using it currently and successfully used it in past games, both SE and LE. You use it to create your own rules, such as your follower requests sex but if you turn them down they might go ahead and rape you. When I played a Dark Elf, I had a rule that took place in Windhelm where Nords might rape Dark Elf women between 8pm and 8am. SSX doesn't add bondage items or anything like that, but if other mods add slavetats or devices upon rape then you might find yourself getting restrained and/or tattooed. It might be kind of script heavy, but if you limit the number and scope of enabled rules, I think it will reduce the script load.

For some reason, I cannot get the mini pack for spanking to register with DFc.  Reran all the FNIS, reinstalled and tried with both the pack loaded before and after DF, reregistered the animations.

What should I be looking for to troubleshoot next?

Oh wow thank you so much for summing that up for me. I'm definitely gonna try Scent of Sex if I can find it for SE. Because this mod sounds wayyyyy too slow and frustrating. Like if I can get from level 30 to 50 with a follower and they don't demand sex once, they just wanna play games like even If I slide theyre bondage slider all the way to prefers sex, then that's just like too frustrating and slow. I mean especially when dialogue for me being tied up just randomly starts bit when I'm actually tied up...nothing.

 

Maybe you could help me with another riddle. lol I really don't think Deviously Enslaved or this mod are very compatible with iAFT at all. Because I use the option there to stop followers from leaving my service if I hit them, and now they leave my service the second I hit them instead of the ticked option for "making follower approach" in Deviously Enslaved. These mods seem to ignore iAFT completely and maybe that's why I cant get any dialogue to show up at all. Please tell me Scent Of Sex doesn't require me to manage my dominant followers dominance by talking to them all the time. Lol. Because omg a Dom that needs to be managed. Like I would freaking kill over irl. That would be way too much to handle.

@LynErso666 I don't use any follower frameworks so can't help you on that aspect.  Other people have used this mod w/ follower frameworks like AFT. Maybe do a search on this thread and the LE version of DF for answers about that? Deviously Enslaved has the 'followers remember if you hit them' option on the follower page that you can turn off. Does AFT also have that? Then if if you want it off, make sure to turn it off both places.

Scent of Sex doesn't manage or interact with your followers at all, not in the way you mean. It allows you to set up rules under which sex might happen if the conditions are met. They can be player/follower, npc/player, npc/npc - it's up to you. They can be aggressive or not, locations specific or not, etc. Participants can be chosen based on race, faction, relationship, or even named individuals (see SSX Sex Rules Exchange for more examples).

I know you can use SSX with Devious Followers, because I am using both on this play through.

Is there a way to exclude specific vanilla followers from being used by DF? I also have Amorous Adventures going, and it would be pretty silly if someone who has become my lover via that mod suddenly acted like a ruthless slaver whose only interest is sex and gold!

I downloaded the whore armor CBBE and overwrited the mod and still couldnt make the armor fit the body ( 3BA ). Thanks you for converting this mod.

What I have been using for this is installing sunjeong version of the-amazing-world-of-bikini-armors-remastered.
I then build the armors in bodyslide with the working versions. I then disable the ESP so it wont load in game as I dont want the armor mod in game otherwise.

There is likely some better way to do this, but this one works for me.
