I got used to TTS and even love it. Has it's own charm

This was my main point. Using Ivy long before the addition of human voiced files were added, regardless of person performing. I too refuse to engage in any debate of 'best', since anyone with 1/2 a brain cell knows this becomes a matter of opinion, and we know what they say about opinions....

The tragedy of Ivy will be far in the future, when all life has ceased and the last remaining stars have extinguished their fuel. The universe will finally cool to absolute zero as any energy released by the vibration of atoms stops for the rest of eternity - Ivy will still be here... A picture of perfection, and the only remaining testament of man's existence.

a couple of questions

1. is this allowed?

2. is it canon?

3. if allowed and canon-ish, Any Special Messages you want?

I didn't know this was possible

I feel strongly that anyone should play the game however they want to play it. It's their game, their system, their time and their electricity bill.

Having said that, it goes fully against lore for Ivy to be pregnant. She simply doesn't have the 'parts' for it. The only biological parts she has is part of the spine, liver, kidneys and a brain.

This is the schematic overview of her body. Her brain is lodged in a protective place inside her chest. Outside of that is a metallic skeleton and outside of that Synth skin:

fair enough, I will remove it

btw I would recommend that you add this script somewhere (if you want to completely remove the chance for Ivy to get Pregnant)

Keyword FPFP_NoPregKW = Game.GetFormFromFile(0x00017742, "FP_FamilyPlanningEnhanced.esp") as Keyword

BahBah.AddKeyword(FPFP_NoPregKW)

That's the thing, I don't. I want people to enjoy the game the way they want to. So no need to exclude her. ;)

But since you asked about her lore, that's how it works lorewise for her.

In my games, I do things that deviate from Ivy's established lore. If I want it in my game, if I can make it happen, I will.  In Reg's model, Ivy has no reproductive organs. But in your game, those were preserved.

Technically. Somewhere in the lore, Ivy has short blonde hair since her appearance was created to look like a specific person in Reg's established history for the character. But I change her appearance.

I like Reginald's take on it. He says how he envisioned her as his creation but he is cool with how anyone wants to see her as their companion.

My Ivy has already dropped one kid and is expecting #2 soon.

I would not mind having an add on to FPE to make Ivy aware of her condition though.

HOLY SMOKES

I have not been as excited by a trailer since the spring of 1977 when Star Wars was being promoted.

Oh and Ivy's new voice! Like butter.

Thank you so much Reginald for your inspired work and genius.

I was late to finding Ivy. The current release is the first experience I've had with her so the robotic voice is the only one I really know for her. I do think it fits her and don't mind it at all.

That said, the new va sounds awesome. With the new content it's going to be like an entire new follower for me.

Really excited to get to see what is waiting to discover with the new version.

Hold to your hats

I take mine off and bow. I REFUSE to watch the video - like anything used to hype users for upcoming games. I want everything to be a surprise - EVERYTHING. Just knowing all goes well with the addition of both VO and DLC is enough!

I have noticed a trend over the years of people spending so much time watching, reading, and otherwise digesting every fucking molecule of information they can find, they hype themselves up and become quite delusional in their outlook upon a given thing. How can anything hope to survive being on a pedestal that high? Well - it can't. So we now get the constant posts, videos and review bombing from people that bent themselves so far out of shape that they would be disappointed meeting God. I thought you'd look like (blah). I though heaven was (Blah). I only count 71 virgins (Blah). These gates aren't made of pearl (Blah).

Blah blah blah - :P

My point is things are going to be as they are. I want my experience with that thing to be as un-tainted as possible with my own preconceptions. I've played using Ivy before. Everything I've read in General (Hyper-Combat, etc.) tells me I'm in for a hell of a ride with an old 'friend'. Anything new that friend has to share I want to come from her mouth and actions. So I won't be watching the video myself....

Thanks Reg for taking all the time you need. We certainly don't need another CyberPunk  2077 - Heaven forbid! (I personally enjoyed CP2077 - but then I didn't gorge myself on hype so I could shit out hot air)

On the other hand, how did you learn of Ivy in the first place if you avoid all teasers, trailers and written news? ?

Looking for FO4 mods here on LL. How about you? How did you find out?

I'll chime in on that question.

I don't remember what it was exactly I was looking for, but I recall it had to do with Skyrim custom voiced NPCs. Doing a search through this site's crappy search engine, I stumbles on the Ivy 4.0 promo video and thought, "I have to have this follower". At the time, I didn't even own FO4. I literally bought the game just so I could use this follower mod.

I stumbled upon one of Reginald's mods on the Nexus (shame on me … Not really ;), was interested in another one and followed the link to its video, then found the video about Ivy on Reginald's YT channel. Then – as I said somewhere else – Ivy took things in her hands. Bang!

Brain, in the. . . chest? Definitely curious to see the story on how that works when 6.0 comes out ><.

I knew Reg on Nexus and remembered he was on here so came and checked as he had said he was on a companion mod that could not be on there so came to look as I knew she would be high standard and never looked back.
