So, my question is whether it is possible to do the main quest and have a good ending that will make me free from serpent in the end? I say without having to do any more quests for him and those involved in that location.

Functionally, as with DFC, he would be fine. Dialog wise, it won't fit him much better than DFC. If you can imagine your way past that, he would be fine. You might run into some conflicts with the ZAP stuff in ToH, because SLTR does like to add some DDs, even without the DD add-on. Possibly (and I never looked at this) SLTR can run without DD, but you'd be missing out on some things. SD+ remains the most Bruiser-ish slavery mod, but it's not very playable unless you have a high regard level, and made special modifications. SD+ sort of needs a side-car mod to make it into something other than a nasty defeat outcome, and even that side of it would benefit from a helper mod. 1
