The Random functions are part of the native functions and to change it is needed a SKSE update, for LE probably never happen.

Even if someone make a update for SKSE LE, still the random functions are considered a common issues in all the programs not just the Skyrim Game. The common consent is don't think too much about.

 

Still I also see the issue and for my experience some random functions work better than others. So I will try, but without much hope.

The thing is, if I turn the DD filter on, it picks randomly one of the built in yoke animations (those which come with DD and not via SLAL), so maybe the question is: could there possibly be something in the filter that prevents the non-SLAL animations from being picked if even a single SLAL one exists? It is possible I have only that single yoke animation in my entire SLAL packs

First if you turn on the DDi Animation system. That system don't care about the currently running Animations and override those with the ones in his internal list. Like you already know DDi Animation List don't include the Animations added by SLAL. The things you probably don't know is those Animations included on DDi list usually don't have the corresponding Tags like the "Yoke" Tag. So if you turn off the DDi system and Enabled the Zad (DD) filter of my Utility Plus then you probably don't gonna see some of the Animations from DDi.

But don't worry that's easy to solve.

 

1. Install the "ZAZ Animation Pack" too. Not just is hard dependency for many Mods also include few Animations for restraining. (Need to manually register the Animations using his SexLab Page on his MCM every time you Reset the SexLab Animation registry or "Clean System" but you won't regret)

 

2. Install my SLATE tweak, then important and apply the ActionLog included to add the tags to the untagged animations.

DeepBlueFrog updated most of their mods on 06/30.  Are the SDPlus and SLDialogues tweaks still compatible with the newest updates?

I still don't have the new version. But for I know hi already included my tweaks on his Mods.

My advice is not use my tweaks for his Mods. I probably remove those tweaks soon.

I did the thing with SLATE (still trying to avoid ZAZ for now) but importing your action log apparently didn't help or didn't work. Still only that one animation remains. Your SLATE patch is called "SLATE creatures"? Are there overwrites for the DD animations there?

If there aren't, I don't mind setting the DD animations one by one myself (shouldn't be more than 50 in total, I think) but I am having a hard time finding them. I am pretty sure I went over all categories and couldn't find them XD

Not sure if include the Actions for the DD Animations but give the tools to include the missing tags. The problem is DDi try to register the Animations every time you Load the Game so probably be useless because that tends to reset the tags. Also not sure but I think DDi deliberately hide his Animations.

 

Surrender and install ZaZ too. The Animations included on ZaZ are the same as DDi and those in DDi not included on ZaZ are included on the SLAL.

 

Thinking about probably can make a SLAL JSON file to solve this issue and the issue of manually register the ZaZ Animations.

EDIT: Tested that. Still get only the specific Babo animation (and the SLAL animations have a yoke tag. I checked).

Also found another problem during the testing. Loaded a save in which I had an armbinder and a chastity belt and used only your filter. I got armbinder animations, but vaginal ones, so it understood the armbinder but not the belt, or it for some reason ignores belts if armbinders are present

Well if the Animation is already registered and the Tag was not added after that, the explanation to only see the Babo Animation is because that Animation was already on the Default Animation list and in the case were the list have at less one valid Animation the system don't try to search for more Animations. That's to respect most possible the Animation filter of the external mod. But the main problem in your case is the cache system because keep returning the same 125 Default Animations so in your specific situation you won't see the rest of the Animations soon.

 

I already fix that issue on the cache of the next release.

 

The belt is not a issue if you still are in the prison of the picture, the Belt used there don't have the vagina restricted even if lock's like. The author intentionally remove the restriction of that belt in one of the recent update to allow the sex scene, I was preferred just remove the belt but I not the author.?

The belt is not a issue if you still are in the prison of the picture, the Belt used there don't have the vagina restricted even if lock's like. The test with the belt was not in the prison, it was the timed belt which NPCs can never temporarily remove, actually. But since there is this cache I simply know nothing about, I guess I will just wait for it to see if it solves my problem in your next release :)

I just check the Animations I have and can find just one Animation with the "Yoke" Tag for humanoids (the BaboSneakYokeStandingFuck)

 

I use the "Toggle Animations" page of the SexLab MCM to search for the tag because is the easy way

 

Somebody can tell me if are other's and the name to search for?

All the Billyy DD Animations have the "Bound" Tag and that is one problem I because allow the "Bound" tagged Animations just when some actor have the hands bound with cuffs or ropes. That means the "Bound" Tag need to be removed from the "Yoke" Tagged Animations or won't be seeing at less one of the actor be Bound and the other using a Yoke

I already include those Animations on my SLATE ActionLog

Sorry to be the one reporting all of these things, but the filter of the mod (having all other filters disabled) fails to find any animation when wearing a DD straightjacket, even one without a legbinder. Normally it should have picked any normal animation, since the victim's hands are simply "invisible".

The scenario that failed is a simple rape by a male. It didn't freeze or "think" a lot, it immediatly released the actors as happens when no animations are found. There was nothing on the console during that process.

 

EDIT: Forgot to note that I also have a ring gag. Shouldn't do anything to block vagina actions, though...

 

[P.S: about the latest issue about the yoke, finding Billy's yoke animation and manually removing the "bound" tag solved the problem. However importing the file alone didn't solve it. Possibly importing just doesn't work well or something XD]

I will check the straighjacket things I'm not sure if the filter check for that but your point about the hands is true in any case if need a filter should be only for "handjob".

About the yoke i already have few things for the next release. Not just the new ActionLog for SLATE, also a JSON file with the Devious Device Animations, and probably allow Pillory Animations on Yoke situations because are basically the same if the Pillory is not showed.

I tried to find the log files, but there seems to be nothing in there in relations to the rape starting (I will add that I have DD and DCL logging enabled but I don't get any log files for them, only for sexlab and apropos.SexLabDebug.0.log

I am fairly sure this file is useless... but that is all I have related to the failed rape event

The file is the right one but seems like you open the game and close it without sex, or the SexLab MCM Debug option is Disabled

The thing is it isn't. I waited until the rape triggered by DCL and got canceled, then quit the game. Debug is enabled both in DD, DCL and sexlab...

Then I have not idea way your log is so empty.

Try the Papyrus0.log

 

I already checked the StraitJacket keyword and yes was applied a "Bound" tag filter. Still need check if is good idea change or remove that. Need compare the armor keywords with the armor real apparency, I think few of the DD StraitJacket have unwanted keys like chastity without allow vaginal or anal when the StraitJacket obviously should allow that. I constantly fixing bug like that on my DD copy but I can release it because the author don't allow it.

Well reading your log i don't see any relevant SexLab log but I see one error from DCUR (Deviously Cursed Loot) trying to get one DD Gangbang Animation from SexLab. Apparently DCUR don't found any Animation and aborted the Rape event.

 

Apparently the reason was because that rape event have 3 actors (Belethor, Sigurd and the Player) and DD don't even try to find one DD animation for more than 2 actors.

 

The DD author insist on don't use external animations so that probably never get to work.

 

PD: I prefer use "SexLab Adventure" for the Proximity Rape Events and Disable those Rape events on the rest of the Mods MCM.

What you are saying about the gangbang is odd, because when DCL starts a rape scene it can pick up to 5 actors, but the first scene will always be a 2-person scene, and not a gangbang, ever (even if no one is bound) and when the player has arm bondage, it never picks gangbangs at all.

So... something that was supposed to have a value had a "None"?

 

The question is where is the point where your filter usually comes in (as we know it works for other types of arm bondage so it is not a generic incompatibilty with DD), and if possibly allowing none "bound" tagged animations for SJs would fix the problem.

 

About switching the source of my rape scenes, I rather keep it in DCL so I don't have to worry about mod conflicts such as getting entangled too much by both mods at once and reaching a dead end...

Can't you fix the problem of facial expressions being infinite after the scene is over?

This issue did not occur before this mod was installed - automatically refresh after a few seconds
