Two things.

 

1) Bug report, tentacle_events_pregnancy is adding dwf_elf_child trait and removing dwf_elf trait, causing elven children born from tentacle'd parent to never gain their adult portraits upon adulthood. You want to add dwf_elf and elf_child1 instead.

 

2) Is it just me, or are babies born from mother + tentacles never coming out with the futa trait? Even with a futanari mother.

They get to transform later on in life, it's not that much of a deal.

I hope there is something slightly more meaningful planned, as functional as that system has been in raw gameplay mechanics, it isn't particularly flavorful. Especially if the player character is the primary herald of the new faith. Seems weird to usher in one faith and then after waiting for people to come up with contrary opinions to then consider: "Ah yeah we'll go with that instead."

It would have taken less time to google "fetish etymology" than it would've taken to type out that sentence. And by doing so, you would easily learn that the adoption of the word to refer to specific sexual preferences is a very new use of the word. Compared to the original definition referring to objects of mystical power.

Making Dagonicism reformable is something that has been suggested several times. While it makes sense on some levels, I've decided from the beginning that it won't be reformable, because that would interact with a lot of vanilla systems and open up a can of worms I'm not ready to deal with yet. For precedent, the Indian religions are in the game as "organized religions" and can't be reformed, despite not having anything even close to a central religious authority.

I've been waiting for Triskelia to update his mod with the milk generation system he says he's been working on. When he does, I'm planning to make tentacle slaves ridiculously productive (as the event text in this mod implies) so that the tentacles can milk them properly.

Both of these bugs will be fixed in the next release.

Abdicating as a tentacle slave is not possible for kitsunes since their age gets stuck in whatever age they get their second tail. Well not technically impossible but it's very frustrating when you have ruled over 100 years and you have a perfect heir but you can't abdicate. Could you please add player only decision that allowes you to abdicate before 40?

Hey guys!

I have an issue here. I don't know if it's already been discussed, if it has, I do apologize. Whenever I start the tentacle cult and it begins to spread to my kingdom, I suddenly have 10s freezes at the start of each month. Someone looked at the save file and said there were 389 instances of "tentacles.434" scheduled. Are there any fixes available?

Is it possible to multiply the logic by -1. Having made high piety a minus for the Dagonists generating negative events, and in the events of the Dagonists to change the sign of the arrival and expenditure of piety?
Thus, piety will be equal to the lust of the Dagonists

Tentacles.434 is an event that fires every time a tentacle slave becomes pregnant. There can potentially be a lot of instances of it, but I don't think it has a significant impact on performance; I personally haven't had trouble with it.

Can you explain what the current situation in your save file is, when the freezes started, and what other mods you're running? Dark World Extras is known to be extremely unoptimized and lags like hell when combined with this mod, so if you have it on, that's probably the issue.

I always have a lot of piety and nowhere to spend it

Love the mod, real good stuff, but i was wondering if some more consentacle type content could be added. Or if there is already a mod out there for that then just point me in that direction.

Technically the requesting to be / accepting being corrupted and then all the post tentacle slave events are consensual.  Though the tentacles act the same regardless.  Also there is some implied relationship without actual sex required during part of the planning for a fertility festival events.

2 questions,  Is there an easy way to convert tentacle slaves to the Dagonistic religion?  (not vassals or courtiers)  but other leaders and people?     I am trying to get it to spread but it's really difficult

 

What does taking the holy sites actually do?  (for the dagons)   I read the CK2 wiki about religion but it doesn't go into much detail about what they do

Hey, I'm having fun with this mod. I have a couple questions:

 

1) How do/can I convert to the tentacle Lilithid heresy? It's something I would like to do for roleplay reasons.

 

2)My kingdom is located in the Levant and almost all my provinces have or had Arab culture.... which means that almost all my castles have Camel Riding Grounds. The problem seems to be that if a holding already has Camel Cavalry as its special units it doesn't get any Tentacle Warbeasts from new buildings. Is there a way around this that doesn't involve buliding a new demense from scratch, or am I largely stuck with retinues and city vassal levies as my main sources of Warbeasts?

Basically, the freezing starts whenever I make the tentacle religion the official one. And yes, I am running Dark world extras. I'll try to disable it and see if that fixes the issue!!

I'd imagine that you'd have to adopt the tentacle culture to erase the Arab special troops so you can build the tentacle lair to hive buildings in order to levy warbeasts from the province since the culture change will "close down" the camel cavalry buildings/availability.  Or so I think. 

 

 This also affects the combat events involving warbeasts as well because the generic special troops will conflict with any existing warbeasts in the same army and not let the events fire. (Tentacle monsters capturing female army commander events)  This is a bug I've pointed out to Cherisong in the past and I think the tentacle culture was her workaround for that issue.   

 

I think you need to be of the tentacle religion and/or of tentacle culture in order to build those buildings (definitely for the culture since I have a Catholic tentacle culture playthrough)   

 

For alternative starts and using Alaa's cheat menu when I create tentacle religionists with the cheat menu to fill in the "noreligion" areas, I edited the cost/speed of building tentacle buildings to the minimums to compensate for the fact that those buildings aren't automatically built to the same level as the other existing buildings when you use Alaa's cheat menu to apply either the tentacle religion or culture as well as jacking up the chance of building those to 900+.

I've since removed Dark World Extras for the very reasons Cherisong mentioned.  And it offers very little in return (occasional wandering mercenary rape and once per playthrough proceo are about the only things that work in conjunction with the Tentacles mod for me.)  It just wasn't worth it for the lag it added to the game.
