There are a few origins which have you create a secondary race, they don't need to be similar at all though.

You can make them all male or female but you could also make them both the same gender or "normal" gender distribution.

Thanks for the reply. I know there is a workaround using the Origin system, but what I am speaking of specifically is that there used to be a decision once you were in game (it was either on your capitol or in the policy tab, can't quite remember). It would split half your main population into two new species; one all male, the other all female. From there you could gene mod as you wished. I think this was before the synergy benefits were implemented.

@Ozvelpoon there is a planetary decision that you can choose after you research one of the purple techs (i forget exactly which one, as there are several but its not the masculine or femine one or transformation candy) anyway it allows you to change all the pops on that planet to a mongender of your choice (and give a mood malus for doing so that goes away after some time)

 

While that may not be exactly what you are working for, I think it could still suit your needs assuming there are no "alien" races on the planet you perform the operation on.  You would need two planets to effect your goal, on one change them to all mono male, on the other all mono female.  After that just edit the new species to your liking and apply their templates to the remaining unnaffected pops (you can chose to do that on a per planet basis, then allow / move them around to get a good mix of them going)

 

Alot of work but doable if you have patience.

This is most likely an artifact left out there because this trait goes right after sexologist trait in the localisation files, which does boost industry.
Anyway here is fixed locals since it a tiny to fix (for those too lazy to remove excessive lines themself)


Also may I ask for permission to post addon for LV? Is this even right place to ask or should i pm? (naturally since i used code from LV i have to ask, right?)

Its in descisions  its called somehow monogendered  then you can choose all or just xenos and all the pops on the planet get monogendered. I think its locked behind a specific tech. The Pops get unhappy but that's all of it if  i remember correctly.

Seems to me that is a relic carried over from the Sexologist trait.

So yes it is a bug but no it was not supposed to do that, I think.

Let's say one does this. Same species modified to be All male here, all female there, with slight tweaks to both.

What happens if they both have Aggressively Adaptive Reproduction and wind up on the same planet?

LV origins require Utopia dlc, you may remove the requirement in the Lustful Void\common\governments\civics\lv_origins.txt
maybe it will be alright

If that trait behaves the same as gentle snu fever they'd cancel each other out.

I do this frequently. What I suggest you do is use the "enhanced gene modding" mod on the workshop. It has the option to separate out a modded subspecies as a new base species.

 

It goes without saying that the new species is considered totally separate from the original, so they get penalties for being filthy xenos, which may or may not be a big deal for you.

 

I'm not sure whether this mod works with the newest update however, I'm waiting for LV to update first... XD

I believe AAR and intercompatible sperm/womb will respect each other and not cause pop conversions.

Hey Lithia, I saw that in your latest poll there was Interspecies as an option but that it didn't make the top 3 so I thought I'd gave it a try.

It's more a proof of concept right now with placeholders .I'll like to get some ideas/concept for each perk before proceeding.So far I was going with.
(from top left to bottom right)

  1. Adoption: a good simple xenophile ethics attraction to make pops Xenophiles obviously (30% Xenophile Ethics attraction?).
  2. A:Xeno Coupling,basically a policy which would encourage Xenos making couples (love&sex part).Perhaps government funded and based on dna. 
    Perhaps every pop with the Xenophile ethics/faction could produce a little bit of pop growth?
  3. B:Additional "lv_breeder" jobs on each of your planets (+1 for each 20 pop?).
  4. C:Some sexy clothing/lingerie to wear in public (maybe a Lingerie Tailor job? giving lots of hapiness,trade and amenities?). 
  5. D:Better "lv_breeder" maybe a upgrade in stratum (better social standing and political power and making some unity?).
  6. E: A thing I noticed was that there's plenty of society research bonus to get from lots of lewd sources so I was thinking of a "less Society% and more Physics&Engineering%.
  7. Finisher: Something that makes every pop with the Xenophile ethics/faction produce unity (hence the Ethics attraction bonus at the beggining.)

I guess I'd also like a reward based on how many Xenos are in your empire.
You know the empire modifer that said "you have 6 interbreeding species in your empire contribuing to an extremely diverse genepool."
Maybe the finisher could double whatever bonus you'd get from that?
Although I doubt I'd be able to script any of that XD.

So what are yall thoughts?
Also Lithia are you French ? I think Toronam was too ? Or is it my imagination ?

I am not a modder, so I can't help you with the coding but what about modifying the code of the "gospel of the masses" civic to give xenophile pops +1 unity? Looking at that might at least give you a start on the code.

 

I think Lustful Void is already pretty heavy in the Pop Growth/Happiness/Society research departments so diversifying a bit like you seem to be doing looks very good.

Yeah it goes back to two genders for portraits if you do Clone Army Descendant.

I think these are a good set of suggestion. I do have a few personal suggestions.
3. Perhaps putting the extra jobs on the Gene Clinic could be a alternative.

4. Maybe the Lingerie Tailor job could be added to industrial districts, much like there is a perk that adds a clerk to city districts.

6. To highlight the idea of wanting multiple species in your empire, you could make it such that each migration-treaty gives a small bonus to Engineering-research. You could flavor it as knowing a lot of species lets your researcher design better solutions for all of them.

Similar idea would be replacing city district clerks with whore jobs.

Is there any way that Sexopolis Project and More can  be incorporated into Lustful Void? The author of that mode isn't going to update it and has given permission to take over the mod to any one who wants it.

So I actually managed to give all xenophile pops the modifier but...

...they don't produce any unity at all...
Don't mind the 1k,its just so I can easier see the impact the modifier should have.
Fortunately, the +1 breeder job per 20 pop works.
I wonder if there,s any way easier to do it tho.

I am not sure why, but i dont seem to have any traditions when playing. I guess its probably a mod missbehaving, i just hope somebody experienced that before and can give me some pointers.
