Are you sure you aren't describing a SexLab animation?

 

STA doesn't use any SexLab animations for spanking, except by chance.

Yea, I have it at 100.  I was hoping to make it go higher, just because my emb apparently doesn't go that red.  It definitely shows though.  It just looks more like a warmup and less like a punishment.

Yes. Afaik the animation i'm refering to was never used anywhere, Nibbles only showed a concept in a thread where i requested a spanking mod that works similar this one... 3 or 4 years ago and said he'd polish it if somebody makes a mod using it. I'm not entirely sure this offer for polishing still stands... and it's not that easy to find that animation already made again, but at least asking Nibbles wouldn't be much effort if Monoman1 is intrested.  It wasn't the usual "NPC spanks PC for 5 minutes" animation, only a single slap and the PC twitches hips forward a bit, turns her head and gasps/complains/thanks? It should fit well here in theory, especially if there is a way to play it without calling SL first, but i'm not sure if there is a way to play on on the fly properly.

Speaking of it, i do remember that i also asked for an... event, so to speak, where several NPCs stand in a row (or two at both sides) and PC has to pass them all and each of them spanks her. Probably wouldn't really fit here, i could imagine it well for mods aware of STA as a punishment, though.

For that to be any use it would need to be a proper paired animation, not SexLab, so it could start up instantly.

Which is probably where we started on all this.

 

When you mentioned Nibbles offer to do more spanking if someone wanted to use it ... I did ask for more spanking ... and I do use it  

I only do that because Monoman didn't want to do it though!!

 

I'm not really expecting anybody to make more spanking animations at this point, but you never know.

I messed about with my textures to make them brighter red on the bum and to add some vein type and whip mark effect to the breasts.

 

The problem with the bum textures is they split across a seam that has to match perfectly or it shows up, and so you can't put any detail there without setting up a fancy 3D paint situation.

 

Even with a 4K texture, there's very little resolution to work with, so it's hard to do the kind of little burst blood vessel effect I wanted.

 

That's the problem with existing bodies. Boobs and bum sort of need to be in their own texture space to allow for the enormous scaling that gets applied to the breast area.

Your 8K texture can be overkill everywhere else, but on the breasts, the magnified skin texture looks like a sofa, not smooth skin. UUNP is slightly worse for this than CBBE, but CBBE's tiny amount of extra space doesn't really fix the problem which really wants an 8K texture to the boobs by themselves.

If by "from time to time" you mean every two years or so... then probably me, yes.  I have no clue though what's the difference between a sexlab animation, a paired one, or... anything, really. All i know is that Nibbles might be able and want to provide one, if wished.

Haven't been able to test it yet because I'm only just testing 2.12.2 with its own script.

Need to look at 3.8 after that.

 

Things might have gone a bit smoother if I hadn't lost a week to a malicious CK eating my ESP.

The difference is that real paired is instant with actors positioned by the game animation system. 99% of modded animations are two separate single actor animations positioned by scripts (super slow and unprecise). If you want to see the smoothness of real paired you can try Free Hug Mod SE

Yea I just tried the hug thing you mentioned there. It's pretty neat. The hug itself might actually make it into the wheel menu I'm working on in SLS so you can give your follower some love or something. 

 

But we need a paired spanking animation then. Ideally one for the ass and one for the tits. Tall order. If we could just get a rough one I could see how it'll work.

Same as above, didn't notice an update although LL notices me about every post here xD I'm not even sure if it would be a good idea to test it, i feel so dumb here compared to everybody else.^^

I didn't even download SE, not to mention having a working setup. It sounds very promising though for the purpose i'd hope for?

Never noticed the 3.8 beta was out.  Gotta go looking for it.  But this reminds me.  In 3.7 I have a problem with M3.  For some reason, half the time I press it, it does the voice like it should. The other half of the time, the actors swap positions, which can get silly swapping dozens of times in a scene.

 

Sexlab is set to +/=.  It could be a mod conflict, but I don't know what mod could be doing it.

 

Just saying this, it is amusing to increase the distance of the greet spanks.  It is funny to watch npcs rush over just to give a slap.  Bjorlam actually jumps out of the cart to greet me properly. I set to 200.

Ok, I do have a bit of a bug that I think is due to STA.  Character gets spanked she falls back a few steps and automatically raises her fists she puts her hands down and things go as normal.  UNLESS, another mod, say Survival penalizes the player for unsheathing weapons, and apparently it includes fists.  Get knocked back with this animation and a guard may arrest me, or just flat out attack me.  There are other mods that use STA so it might actually be another mod, but it would be nice if one could disable the pushback.  The character always stumbles backwards even if they are smacked in the ass.  In bondage boots this can either mean you can't get anywhere, or you have to walk backwards so you keep getting knocked the direction you want to walk.

Sounds like a conflict. If you rebind the spank key to something else does it still happen?

But I have been meaning to add a stagger chance slider. + I might switch to using the npc bump animation which has four directions now that I know a little more about animations. So slapped on the tits = bump backwards. Slap on the ass = bump forwards.

It's totally cheating...but when I was being attacked by wolves and trying to walk to riften from the other side of the rift, it was the the only way to make progress.  Wolves followed me for miles.

I have at least two other mods that integrate with STA, so she does get spanked a lot.  The actual stumble animation where she bares her fists automatically, that doesn't happen that often, and usually not where a guard sees it.  But there have been a few times when my character stumbles.  Gets fined by a guard, then attacked by the same guard after paying the fine....

I'm not convinced that the animation causes you to be punished. The animation is just an animation. I'm fairly sure (without checking) that for guard punishments you need to have weapons/fists/magic actually drawn/equipped.

I can confirm that the spank animation doesn't cause guard punishment for weapon drawing.

Also I never saw my PC go into combat mode after a spank.

if you had worn armor in a city in any cell => SLS will know! Guards approach you for that. No sneaky outfit change in a hidden place possible ^^

guards will approach you as long as you keep wearing weapons or armor

I wish the guard said. But yeah, if you watch closely, when you get knocked down the player raises her fists then automatically sheaths them after getting knocked down.  I probably had a magic spell equipped, even face light seems to count as a weaponized spell, "You are no longer a rape target."  But yea, I get arrested, then without any pause, after I pay, or beg off, get attacked.  I'm not given any time to drop weapons or remove armor.

that's just a stumble/stagger animation

 

make a test:

equip a spell => get spanked and stumble => you would see the spell activated if combat mode is involved

equip a weapon => get spanked and stumble => your weapon would be drawn if combat mode is involved

Your game is totally fucked up or you just threw a loooot of mods together and now you don't know what they actually do.

 

Mods that can cause guards to approach:

> DCL => depends on the MCM settings, can be for being naked or masturbation or sex in public, or prostitution => other NPC that saw you doing that can report you to the guards

WARNING => bad settings in DCL can get you constantly arrested

> SLadventures => can be set so you get a bounty every time you fail to comply to the rules you set in MCM: weapons, armor, out at night, sex, no armor => can be all set in MCM => other NPC that saw you doing that can report you to the guards

WARNING => too many rules set in MCM will rise your bounty quickly and constantly

> SLS => guards approach you for: wearing armor, wearing weapons, sneaking out of the city without paying => can be modified in MCM.

Guards with SLS dialogue can also give a bounty, if your bounty is already high you get force greeted by guards or attacked

> all Guards => will attack you if your bounty is too high, usually they approach you with weapons drawn first

No, it's not a matter of knowing what my mods do.  But I was describing a problem that happened from being "rescued" 3 times in a row, stacking my bounty each time, until Survival guards took me back to headquarters in Solitude, or I got stuck in prison.  Some of those mods had the default bounty at 1000 which meant you pretty much instantly become kos.  I lowered the bounties a few days ago and went down all the mcm trying to set it up so only one mod modified a given value.
